Spider-man was, naturally, out of the way before the punch landed. "Come for my HEART? Wow! Someone graduated TOP of the class at College of Cliched Villany, didn't they?" He launched a large, sticky net of webbing at the man. "Just out of curiosity, what are you going to do with my heart once you've got it? Eat it? Hold it to the sky and laugh manically? Use it to perform an evil voodoo ritual that will turn someone into a mindless slave to your cult? INDIE!!! NOOOOO!!!!"

(( I know. The hook was about to rip back out of his body. But you cut the line... NOT MY GRAPPLING LINE!!! And if you make Blair or Geneveive into a Black Lantern and Rorschach finds out how it happened, he will kill you. True story. You just mentioned the ring to him. Rorschach will rip your ring finger off. Just informing you. Do as you wish ))
Rorschach fell backwards as the line cut. Picking himself back up, he threw the gun down and began working his way back to the ground by climbing down a drain pipe. He needed to get on the ground. More room to work.

A little black ring floated from the sky and landed on Shocker.
"Herman Schultz of Earth. Rise!" It said to it's new host.

Spidey glanced over, then groaned. "Oh, no. Herman..." Perfect. Just perfect.
((Where IS Ghostrider, anyway? This seems like it would be right up his alley. Incidentally, if Strange shows up... Yeah. You probably want to finish this fight up sooner rather than later, ring fingers aside.))

The Crow flaped his wings and rose to the air.
"You will all join the Black Lantern Corps!" He yelled sending another sound wave at the group.

(( -facepalm- Sure, take away one of the few ways Rorschach has to really stand out. Take away his corpse before he can investigate ))
As Rorschach climbed down, a chain wrapped arround the Crow's leg. The Ghost Rider was holding the other end. "Burn..." the Spirit of Vengeance said to him. Suddenly, flames shot up the chain, fire encircling Crow's leg along the chain.

"Yeah! Go Ghostrider!" Spidey cheered. He was at the point where he wanted a spirit of vengeance for his version of reality. They were creepy, yeah, but they also kicked some SERIOUS a**.

Spidergirl blinked confused at the scene, her dad had spoken about Ghost Rider once or twice but she'd never seen anything quite like him before. What the heck is the Black Lanterns? She wondered watching the flame shoot up towards the villain. Silently she stood by in a bit of a confused daze, ready to jump in when needed.

"Ahh!" He screamed with pain as more waves came out of his mouth unfocused. He struggled against the chain.

Ghost Rider slowly pulled the chain down towards himself, a process that would have moved a lot faster if the creature wasn't struggling so much. "Your screams will not work against one who is already dead," Ghost Rider said over the din, his voice filled with demonic purpose. "You are finished." The flames intensified.
Rorschach looked down. Only two levels between himself and the ground. Low enough. He jumped. Landed on the ground, letting himself roll a little with the fall. Rolling with the fall makes the difference between a sprain and a break. Fighting can continue with a sprain. A break can incapacitate. Rorschach stood up and watched the creature fight the Ghost Rider. Good thing the Spirit of Vengeance was on his side. Not sure if he'd be able to take him on.

"Okay, let's back up; give the Spirit of Vengence room to work, ladies and gentleman," Spidey joked, mostly in an effort to cover his awe. Landing beside Spider-girl, he glanced at Rorschach, and then asked casually, "You okay?" He knew that the girl was... erm... an emotional issue, and if the vigilante was even more unstable than usual, he wanted to know about it.

Rorschach walked to Spider-Man and Spider-Girl, and replied, "I'm fine. Minor sprain. Not inhibiting to movement or fighting." He turned to face the two creatures fighting. "We should help." There was even more intensity in his voice than usual. He wanted to take this thing down.

Spider-man just shook his head. "I might smother the flames... Or my webbing might catch on fire. I've never tried this sort of thing with hellfire, or whatever that's supposed to be. Look, I know your beyond pissed; if I were in your situation, I would be too. But look; he's doing fine on his own. See?" He gestured to the writhing figure and the clearly in control Ghost Rider. "Fine. On his own. I suggest we start on damage control. Where did older me and Superman go, anyway?"
