Kazuo over heard this, "I will try my best to knock them senseless," He said, "It makes it more challenging that way, and more fun since there's fewer fatalities," He said and prepared to charge with the men.

 INDENTBy this time Alfred had accrued some nasty wounds on his arms and torso and even a few cuts on his face, but he had finally managed to fight his way back to the Deralo line in one piece. So far he still hadn't actually killed anyone in the other army, instead incapacitating everyone he came up against and leaving them alive on the battlefield. Of course, the other soldiers would probably finish them off, which annoyed Alfred slightly, but he couldn't really stop them so he didn't worry about it. At the moment though, he needed to rest a bit, so he slid through the Deralo ranks away from the fighting and pulled out his healing card to heal all his wounds up. That made him feel a little better, but overall such a long battle was just beginning to wear down his stamina.
Still covered in his own blood, Alfred wound through the crowd of soldiers until he found Aoi and paused to rest his hands on his kness and breathe heavily for a few moments. "Why do there have to be so many of them?" he said with a small laugh as he stood back up straight and stretched his arms. Either he just hadn't noticed Deralo's princess standing with them, he didn't know who she was, or he just didn't care. Any of the three were a possiblity, but whatever the situation Alfred didn't act in the slightest like he had any intention of acknowledging the nobles presence anytime soon. "Aoi, you need any healing?" Alfred said once he caught his breath while he wiped some blood out of his eyes.

Sapphire turned to Kazuo and then back to the battlefield. She prepared herself as well. She got her sword ready. She hadn't had a real fight since the end of the last war at Zen's castle. Hopefully her training would keep her up to speed. "By the way, welcome to Verspya, Prince. Sorry for the battlefield welcome party." She said, turning her head to face him.

"That's perfectly alright my Queen," Kazuo said, "I rarely say this to a female, but lets' watch each others' backs alright?" He held his lance with two hands. It was easily his own height, maybe more. And it was deadly looking.

Aoi looked back and noticed Alfred making his way over. She smiled and then when he asked if she needed healing, she nodded and pointed to her wing. "Yeah, arrow got me in the wing. You don't look too good yourself, we can heal each other." She placed her hand on his shoulder and sent more of her healing energy into him. When he was fully healed she said. "You really should just kill them. I just learned that they are infected with something and there is no hope for a cure. Killing them is now doing them a favor and putting their souls to rest."

INDENT"No, really, I'm fine." Alfred began to protest as Aoi went to heal him, because he had already healed himself on the way there. The blood was just left over from the wounds that were no longer there. She ignored his protests, however, and simply healed him anyway, which erased a bit of his physical exhaustion. In return, Alfred walked over to her with his healing card and healed her wing, along with any other wounds that might be on her. Once that was done, he put away his healing card and drew out his water card, using it to quickly wash all the blood off of himself and then dry himself by drawing all the water off of him.
INDENTThe news about the enemy soldiers being infected made Alfred squirm a little as he put his card away. "Well, even so, they're still people, right?" he protested, still not wanted to have to end another beings life. It wasn't like he was doing too bad out there with only disabling them anyway. Sure, he might be getting a few more cuts than the soldiers of Deralo and Jesse's armries, but he was also not wearing any armor which could account for that. Armor would slow him down, after all, so wearing it would probably make him worse. The problem was still that he was a spellcaster though, and not a melee combatant. Any disabling spells he might use though required precise aim, which was not something he had time for, which meant that if he were to use magic, it would have to be deadly.

"Thanks for healing me." She looked down when he mentioned them being people still and she said. "They are people who are probably screaming their hardest to be released from the pain of being controlled by an evil entity and because there seems to be no way to cure them, killing them will be the best option." She looked at him with sad eyes, showing that she didn't like it just as much as him. "If you were in their shoes, what would you want when you know their is no hope for a cure?" She tested her wing out and found that it worked perfectly so she flapped hard and hovered in the air above him. "If it was me..I would want to die." She left after saying that and returned to the battle, cutting down as many enemies as possible while now being aware of the flying arrows as well.

There was a distinct rumbling in the distance, one that had not been heard since the war with Zen. Metal stomping relentlessly on the ground growing louder by the second. Soon the source was beautiful. Jessica in red leading an entire army of automatons. The sound stopped like a ceasing drum and there they stood on the edge of chaos . There was a sweet smile across jessica's lips as she giggled lightly and pointed at the infected, "Okay so kill the diseased ones and protect the queen and prince." She pointed and the army charged the field the steal of the magical warriors flaring.

A disturbing melody wafted out, across the battlefield, causing a portion of the infected to fall asleep during the battle. Alexander had arrived. originally intending to just observe, he was attacked, and forced to defend himself.

Sapphire nodded. "Done." She said. She scanned the battlefield one more time before racing in to the action. She got in range of an unsuspecting infected who was paying his attention to another soldier and she lunged her sword at his legs, attempting to cripple him. She looked back for Kazuo to make sure she hadn't been separated from the Prince in the crowd.

Kazuo swiped at an infected and kicked it quickly. Lowering his lance, he thrust the other end forward and knocked the wind out of another one. He wasn't trying to kill them, but knock them out, "Don't look at me!" He said to Sapphire. He was protecting her and she was protecting him.

The automatons were working like a thresher running through a field easily slicing into the fleshy enemy before them. Jessica stood on the hillside with her hand before her moving her fingers to control the armor soldiers. Watching every little move on the field. One twisted and cut an infected down just before it had a chance to strike the queen. It seemed that the infected were poorly equipped for such an enemy meaning that so long as nothing drastic happened this advancement would be put down by nightfall.

INDENTFor a few moments more, Alfred rested up and watched as two finely dressed warriors rushed past and began incapacitating soldiers on the other army. They weren't killing either, which was slightly surprising, but on the other hand just about everyone else was, including Aoi the angel. Not that he was paying attention though, he noticed something odd. Even though they were supposedly infected and were getting cut down all over the place, they didn't really seem like they were in pain. Or if they were in pain, they were hiding it pretty well.
INDENTNow wasn't really the time to think about that though, so Alfred tightened his grip on his weapons and charged back into the fray, disabling opponents as he passed by. This time he was slightly reinvigorated from Aoi's healing magic, so the wounds he was suffering weren't all that bad. The dancing rhythm of his blades as he moved about the field was almost hypnotic: drawing his enemies in with false hope of striking and ending with them fallen. That was one of the things Alfred liked about using these blades specifically. Even though he could use other weapons, the two blades seemed to fit him the best.

With a few great flaps of his leathery wings, Jesse was over the Battlefield. He laughed, holding out one hand to direct his own Troops. He had them circle around and enclose the ranks of infected, trapping them between the Deralo fighters, his hellish monsters, and the Automatons. He sent a phalanx of Dreadknights to protect Kazou and Sapphire, giants of men encased in black-enameled armor, with huge swords taller than They.

Seeing another winged creature taking to the sky she recognized him as the leader of all of the demons. She grinned and flew over to him making sure he knew she was on his side. Stopping a few feet away from him, she said. "Thanks a lot for your support, it really helped earlier." She had seen him helping out Alfred and because of that she was really grateful. Hearing an arrow coming in she quickly turned around and broke it into pieces with a swing of her lance. "I hate arrows so much." In return she clenched her fist and charged holy energy into it, then bringing her hand out, she sent the energy at the archer, destroying him and the infected in the immediate area.
