Dragon Sneeze The Kohr Le Grande Bar: Soul sat still at the bar long pass last call savoring his drink, the bartender had tried to get them out before but has had several other thoughts on that query. Soul’s size was nothing to joke about he dwarfed the new guy behind the counter even seated upon his stool. He gazed down at him then out of one of the windows, he spotted a man in an all white suit. “Say Rick, you think we’re gonna stop that mountain from falling down on us? Have we ever really handled something of that size? I mean seriously it seems a bit large for a bunch of Regs. – No offense- to take down.” He sipped his booze and sighed, “Ol Vic doesn’t talk about things as much as he should so I don’t know anything about you man, I know as much as both of you let on. Just where did you come from kid?” Soul laughed looking over to his drinking buddy, “ How is it Vic was ok teaming up with a Meta? He hates powers.” Ricky laughed. "To tell you the truth Soul I'm not a meta. It's a disease. I can control my body temp sure, but eventually it'll kill me. Doc said so." He took another swig of whiskey. "So I'm tryin to live as much as possible before then." "So dat's it then? You're both sick and you're attempting to clean up this place before you guys kick the bucket." James shook his head and swallowed up the rest of his glass. He waved for a refill, " It's a shame, and you two are the best I've seen in years! I truly believed that if anyone could fix this s**t hole it was him, and then when he found you I was convinced that I could retire and let you kids save us all." He drank from his fresh liquor and sighed, " So you gonna burn out anytime soon? Doc give you a kill date like Vic?"

The sun was rising on the brand new day, and Ezekiel Portman had refused sleep. His nerves were uneasy in this new hideout. They were too trusting for his taste. He rubbed his eyes and leaned forward in the chair he had placed in front of the window. Good god, what have I gotten myself into I can’t be in this city. I just can’t sit here waiting for the cops to come get me. He thought as he reached for his blue shades on the windows ceil. On the other hand, she just pulled that job and the only ones to show up where a couple of capes in the neighborhood. The cops might just be up to their necks with s**t to deal with. That mountain being top priority. I bet no one has really even had time to collect any info. On the jewel job, they probably are wasting their time with the fires. This place is perfect. I’ve got a feeling that I might come to like it here. Porter looked over at Sasha sleeping soundly on the sofa. His expression changed as his worries fled and rejoice entered his mind.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Lance knocked lightly on the chief’s door. Most of the cops in the building had been pulling all-nighters, the mood was bleak as was the out look for all of Capital. The city had been plunged into chaos. Lance’s arms were full of treats and goodies. He carried a large paper bag in his mouth and a tray of coffees and fruits in his left and a Black Sketch book in his right. He had taken the time to go through its pages, and to his surprise it was helpful a who’s who of important individuals in all of Capital. From Mayor Gold to The Chief to The Manager. That guy must have met every one of these individuals at one point. I can only guess he knows each person. I wonder if Maria knows she’s in his sketch book. He fumbled into her office.
“Ma’am, I’m back and I gotta tell ya those informants were scary.” Lance said closing the door slowly.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
“Rachel? Rachel!? Where the hell are you?” Izzy spat at his screens spinning around. He had not slept at all, not even his usual ‘power’ naps since the arrival of the ungodly obstruction in his sky. “ Suzan! Where the hell is Rachel she was supposed to have been back with my coffee and energy drinks an hour ago did I remember to make another batch of no-sleep pills?” He spun back around and began to doze off. His head slammed against a keyboard as if he was pushed. “ ********! Suzan what the hell woman!” He screamed and looked at his monitors. Small flakes of snow began to appear over almost every sector of the city.
“ Snow…. Brilliant it is a beautiful day for warm snow. You remember that right, back when Reaper first came to town he was stuck in the middle of a hellish blizzard and he pressed on. Well s**t you were there anyways that was the day I called him on that payphone asked him what he was doing remember. And then I made the air warm to prove to him that I was real and that I would help him and I showed him the way to where they kidnapped those kids. I hope he remembers that and knows that I’ve got his back for this one.” Izzy laughed typing viscously upon his many keyboards. His computers were hard at work bringing in what others would be certain was impossible. “ You know this is actually dangerous. I could possibly make a ….. a… twister of sorts hahaha!”

There wasn't a spot on a desk, chair or shelf that wasn't covered with case files and reports. From behind a giant stack of reports a snore could be heard. It seemed that Maria didn't leave her office once again.

" The smaller one beat me up and pinned me to the floor. He didn't believe anything I said. But I got the info. and the larger guy had sketched suspects into this book." He handed it over to her, "He said he wanted us to run any iformation on the woman and get back to him with it... Ma'am who are they Privite Detectives?" lance questioned grabbing his coffee.

The Kohr The sun was rising on the brand new day, and Ezekiel Portman had refused sleep. Brendan walked out of his bedroom and directly to the fridge to grab a bottle of milk. He took a swig and turned around to see Zeke. "Mornin dude, you should have gotten some sleep while you could ya know." Brendan said as he cracked his neck

Put these over there...um...on top of the third pile to the left. And put an APB out on the green haired woman."

Zack could not reach Chamberlain's hand but gave him a nod as he said, "Zack Ryder, a pleasure." "Elizabeth, do you remember the stories that told you about your father?" Tara said slowly. "The few you've shared," Liz said. There was a slight hint of bitterness in her comment, but it was far outweighed by the sound of eagerness. "Well, Chamberlain...he knew you father before I did it turns out, for quite a few years actually. With that Tara levitated the wooded picture frame from where it laid from the night before and let it sit in Liz's lap. Liz stared at it for a moment before she said, "Get...out!" and repeated the statement once more. "What was he like?" She said quickly after that to Chamberlain. Tara gave a small smile as she motioned for Zack to follow her away from the table. This conversation she knew needed to be alone. "Your father, was a very kind and strong man. Quick with a joke but as serious as death when he needed to be. He was my mentor and I was lucky to have known him." Chamberlain said with a warm smile. "I can tell those qualities have been passed down." Liz smirked, but you could tell from her eyes that she appreciated what Chamberlain had said. "I can't wait to tell Alex, he's wondered even more about father. I'm not sure why, I think it's because of the whole father son thing. I at least had that female role model growing up. I hope once this is resolved he can make his way here...." "So what exactly did you and my father do? What did he mentor you in?" "He and I collected relics together. He taught me much about tracking and hand to hand combat, but mostly just about life. He seemed to have a grasp that eludes even the oldest of men. Of course there was magic too." Chamberlain said with a smile. "Magic?" Liz said as she leaned forward and raised on eyebrow. She was quiet for a good dozen seconds before she proclaimed, "I knew it! I knew there was something special about dad. The way mom dodged questions made me start thinking about it. Plus it always seemed like she told us he was normal because she wanted a good example that we could lead normal joe-schmo lives if we wanted. And it explains Alex's mutation perfectly. "So, tussle with any bad guys with my father?" Liz said with a glint in her eye. "On occasion yes. That's how I got this." Chamberlain said as he rolled up his shirt sleeve and revealed a long white scar on his forearm. "We got into many a predicament, to say the least. Mostly bandits and others seeking relics with less than noble intentions." Liz paused before she grinned from ear to ear and said, "You're Indiana Jones!" She laughed for a minute before she pulled herself together and said, "So what kind of relics did you find?"

He held his hand out and the Holy Blade Excalibur formed piece by piece until it was whole and shining in his hand.
