Synne nodded "Ok that settles it... from now on Mommy can't go on dates unless we approve it!"
Komori escorted Ro into a fancy restuarant and helped her to her seat before sitting across from her "I must say again you look simply gorgeous Ro... I'll be chasing wannabe suitors away all night.."
She flushed a bit and shook her head "Oh stop exaggerating. I don't look that good.."
He smiled and took her hoof in his, kissing it "Ah... but I'm not. Trust me... I'm the envy of every other guy here tonight..."

Proteus smirked, "You think that'll work?"
Azaroth groaned in disgust at the blood sucker's words and felt a very strong will to hex him right through the glass when he kissed her hoof. And the night had just started...

Synne shrugged "maybe... she won't want us unhappy..."
Ro glanced at the menu and her eyes widened "This is quite... expensive.."
Komori smiled "Don't worry about it.. your worth every penny!"
She blushed a bit again "I see your love of compliments hasn't faded.."
"Not when I'm in such deserving company!" He gazed at her and tilted his head "Where did you get such a lovely necklace? It compliments you so well!" As he reached out to touch it..
She leaned back a bit and clasped it in her own hoof "Oh well... Azy made it for me... I didn't have anything else..." She looked down smiling.
Komori raised an eyebrow "He MADE it for you?" He looked at her suspiciously "What kind of relationship do you two have?"
Ro frowned as she played with the necklace "We're friends..."
"Who share kids?"
She shrugged "We had a romp as well... its kind of funny he was the one I got pregnant with. It could have been anyone.."

"Maybe..." Proteus sighed setting his head on his hooves. "We should be able to come up with something better than that..."
A smile touched the warlock's lip as he watched. At least she liked his gift. He found himself leaning in a bit closer when the vampire brought up their relationship, trying to catch every word Rowena said on the off chance that just maybe...

"Like what?"
Komori eyed her "He seems very protective of you..."
Ro shrugged "Thats only because of the whole Helga thing."
He shook his head "It seems more than that to me. He was giving me quite a hard stare when we met."
Ro smiled "He's just overly concerned..."
"Which you like him to be?" Komori's eyebrow raised at her as their food was served
She gave him a puzzled look "What do you mean? I'm constantly fighting with him about that.."
"Hmm... " He glanced at the necklace again thoughtfully "Alright... so your just friends? I don't have to worry about any jealousy?"
Ro blinked, caught between frowning and wanting to giggle "Az would never be jealous of anyone I date.."

"I don't know," Proteus said sighing. "But we're suppose to be the smart ones..."
"Oh no never..." Azaroth muttered filling a glass with a dark colored liquid having decided he couldn't stomach watching this without having at least one drink...

Synne sighed and shrugged "i don't have other ideas.."
Komori blinked "Do you want him to?"
Ro also blinked and glanced up curiously "Huh?"
"Well...you sounded a bit.. disappointed when you said he wouldn't be jealous... so do you want him to be?
Ro froze a moment "Oh.. umm... no of course I don't want him to be jealous. We're just friends..." She looked down and quickly busied herself with her meal
Komori watched her thoughtfully as he ate his own meal

"To friendship," Azaroth sighed raising the glass to his lips. He was really getting to dislike this Komori fellow and how he questioned Ro on their relationship - mainly because it raised his hopes just high enough to be smashed over and over. Oh well, maybe the guy was just insecure...yeah, that had to be it.

Synne gave him a look "Thats supposed to be a smart idea?"
Komori smiled "Well then thats good! No competition for me then!"
Ro gave a weak chuckle "Nope... none at all.." resisting the urge to bang her head on the table. "Excuse me a moment..." And got up.. heading for the bathroom.... walking into a stall and warding and silencing it quickly.. then banged her head a couple times against the wall with a scream "Merlin this is horrible!" She took a breath and leaned back "Ok... calm down and get through this. Stupid Komori and his stupid questions... I need a drink..."

"I didn't hear you coming up with anything..."
Azaroth watched in silent disbelief. "Oh Rowena..." he sighed. "What are you doing to yourself? If you hate it so much why don't you just leave?" He almost considered apperating himself to get her out of there...but to do so would mean admitting he had been spying on her. He cringed, "That wouldn't go over well..."

Ro sighed and leaned against one of the stall walls and played with her necklace and took a breath "Ok Ro... you need to get through this... to see if you can get contentment." She snorted to herself "Its not like happiness is going to happen..." She took another breath and left the stall, washed up and slowly started back for Komori

Komori glanced at her with concern as she sat "Are you ok?"
She smiled and ordered a STRONG drink "Yeah.. I'm fine."
He blinked "I didn't know you liked that kind of alcohol..."
She shrugged "Well.. it seemed to be a good choice" Picking up the drink and downing it quickly and ordering another
Komori watched with a bit of alarm "Well... alright..."

Azaroth had set aside his own drink, figuring at least one of them needed to keep their senses, especially now with Ro hitting the drinks like she was. He didn't peg Komori to be the type to give her any trouble but he wasn't taking any chances. "You could always just leave," he told Rowena's image in the mirror. "Save us both a lot of trouble."

After a couple drinks they left and Komori escorted her to some shops "I want to get you a present.."
Ro sighed "You don't have to... really."
"I want to... its kind of odd to me for you to be wearing another mans gift on our date... even if you are 'just friends.'"
She blinked in shock and toyed with the necklace nervously... not really wanting to take it off...
