Marie is still watching him. "Even if so, do you expect me just to do nothing? I'm not going to be helpless." Her voice softened aong with her expression. "Vlad I....I.." Marie couldn't finish she felt some guilt.

Seeing his eyes Marie felt some relief as she thought, "I'm glad he can still look at me" Marie stepped closer, there still was a gap between them and she said, "I know, I'm still unsure too, but I can't lie to you. And I can't keep lieing to myself." Marie is captured by his eyes and his sweet voice.

Giving a half-assed smile Marie said, "Exactly. Fate has a sick sense of humor wouldn't you say?" Marie looked over at the first glimmer of the rising sun.

Slightly blushing from what he said, but Marie smiled and said, "Please wait." Marie grabbs Vlad's hand. "Let's watch the sun rise." Her face completely softened, her eyes seemed completely calm. For a second Marie felt normal, well what she remembers of it.

Vlad holds Marie's hand back, "It's beautiful. So sunlight doesn't affect you or anything?"

Smiling Marie said, "It is, even though I'm immune to the sun I've never seen the sun rise." Marie just stares and can see Vlad out of the corner of her eye.

We wait until it's finished appearing above the horizon, "I'd like to stay longer but we should get moving. If the strange did retreat we have plans to make."
