head_inda_clouds Ryoko_Youkai Akki smiled at Li, she was happy to see that instead of freaking out about her transformation she was actually embracing it. She puzzled over the stones, if there was any one who could tell them anything about that it would be Enishi. "that would be a negative..he flipped out on me when i said that a i would follow his orders in forming the army, and b: that i wasnt going to back down..he made me Leader..but he said it was temporary..until..he said so..i honestly dont know what that is about." She shook her head slightly still trying to put all the pieces of the puzzle together. "He probably wants to see if the clan will self combust without him. It's an ego thing." Li gave a fierce little grin. "If mister bigshot wants to go AWOL- just let him. If I were you I would try to contact the other clans- could you imagine the look on Kagai's face if we made peace while he was gone?" Li snorted, the mental image was just too funny. "Maybe someone saw where he went- but I'm sure Kagai will be fine." Li said gently, seeing that Akki still looked worried. "If I could just work out how to grow wings, I'd follow him myself." Li wriggled her shoulder blades at this; goaty little horns were fine, but wings would be awesome. Despite their lack of practicality. ((sorry for the late reply)) Akki gave Li a kind smile "that would be an awesome plan, if the clans weren't reading themselves for war, the river clan and dark clan are going at it and the earth clan is helping hte river..and possibly some other clans are involved. I just want the fire clan to stay out of confrontation unless we NEED to." She sighed heavily "but that doesn't mean we wouldn't help the river clan or anything other clan if they needed us. For now just patrol the borders I've got an Eye in the sky on Kagai already" She gave her a wink"he's not going to get away with much with my little spy shadowing him"

"Hmm. That makes the most sense." Li gave a little sigh.
"If you trust Riker, he would be good on a patrol- I'll keep an eye on him." Li looked up at the sky, her face contemplative. Despite her dislike of Kagai, she didn't want anything to happen to him. Li looked at Akki again.
"What do you want me to do- you are the leader."

Akki paused and looked up at the sky, the mid day sun beating down on them.
And after much thought she decided.
"follow him, but if he tries to fight lead him back my way i dont know why but he's just been rather antsy and trying to pick fights with everything that moves." She looked at Lin with a slight worried looked.
"Kagai might be unhinged at the moment, but that he's still strong, be careful."

"You worry too much." Li said with lightly. She stood up and looked at the sky, thinking.
"Hmmm. If I were him, I'd go to the mountains," Li mused, loud enough for Akki to hear.
"I think I'll get Riker to come with me." Li said, hoping to allay Akki's fear. Li farewelled Akki before returning to the house.
"Uhh, Riker?" Li asked hesitantly as she opened the front door some time later. She found him asleep on the couch, snoring lightly.
If I poke him, will he attack me? Li never knew how to act around warriors.

"hmm?"he said sitting up and looking at her"you needed me?" he asked curiously as he picked up his crudely bandaged sword (bandages are used for the sheath) and put it on his back and walked over to her

"I have a proposition, of sorts, for you. The fire clan leader, Kagai is, well..." Li paused, thinking how she would word this.
"He may be in a bit of trouble, and Akki asked me to see if he was ok, and I could use you help."
Li waited while he considered his options.

"sure that would be great...i am freelance for now so sure"he said smiling then grabbing a small bag and shoving a loaf of bread in with a cup and a container of water"ok ready to go"he said ready in 5 seconds and he stood waiting there for her command

"Great!" Li smiled slightly but her voice took on a foreboading tone.
"But whatever happens, you only discuss with myself or Akki."
Turning swiftly, Li motioned for Riker to follow her, she shook her hair in the slight breeze and headed towards the mountains.
"He's pretty far off, but Akki will be able to reach us through her pheonix."
Li continued walking, realising that she was at a loss for what to say. Moving her arms uncomfortably, she looked at Riker out of the corner of her eye.
"So...what kind of demon are you?"

"hmm i would classify my self as a Neo demon"he said lifting the black gauntlet arm up"just a side affect of being a demon, or at least a Neo"he said shrugging as he walked"its pretty cool but your overwhelmingly strong in demon form.."he said looking at his right arm(his demon arm)

Li looked at Riker's right arm curiously. She had only met a few demons and was still powerfully curious about them.
"We'll like I said before, I think I'm a dragon part-breed." She gestured at her rather reptillian feet as she said this.
"But I still have control over fire."
To demonstate, Li clicked her fingers to make a small flame appear. It was a stupid trick, but it made her smile every time.
"I thought I was a demon at first." Li paused, but continued talking.
"My brother was like me, but he went crazy."
Probably shouldn't mention I almost went the same way. Li thouht to herself ruefully.

"oh ya forgot to mention im the Neo breed is sorta part reaper i can see into peoples soul's or steal them"he said grinning"but i can only do that if i put all my energy into my arm it self but then i cant move"he said shrugging"i hate going demon....but i have to when necessary"he muttered

Woah, soooo gotta remember that.
Li increased their pace, she was feeling uneasy.
"Tell me if I'm about to walk in to something." She cautioned Riker as she closed her eye, breathing deeply. Li tried to sense Kagai, but he was either too far away, or she just wasn't strong enough.
Danm. Maybe Yukki will see us. Li thought hopefully.

High above the volcano Yuuki watched on as Kagai fought the creature, deciding it was best not to interfere. He circled them a few times before catching a brief glimpse of two traveler.
'best redirect them.'
Yuuki flew toward the travelers and upon a closer range saw that it was Li and a young man. He began his decent and landed a few yards in front of them
"Li, what brings you out here?"

Back in town Akki met up with her mother back at the inn. Where she found her in her room staring out the balcony window.
"where did he go now?" Akki knew from the look of worry in her mothers eyes.
"my best guess is that he and Enishi went off to the shadow territories to see what was going on there."Ryoko said looking back at her.
"Okasan...you need to stay here, okay, you know this land better than i do, if anything is to happen i need you to take everyone in the city the the safest place possible, im going to go look for dad and Enishi, Yuuki is out keeping an eye on Kagai, mom..if worse comes to worse...i need you to restrain him ok." Akki said from the door confidant and brave
Ryoko looked at her daughter with a upsurge of pride in her, she had really grown up into a strong woman.. She gave akki a firm nod of agreement and saw her daughter leave the room. Ryoko watched from the balcony as Akki made her way to the city gates, and on her way to the shadow clan.

Li saw a shadow passing over her and when she looked up she recognised Yuuki overhead. She pushed Riker into a sitting position before she addressed the pheonix.
"Akki suggested that I check on Kagai," Li nudged Riker with her foot.
"and he was supposed to be helping me." She looked up, concern showing in her eyes for the first time.
"Do you know where he is? Is he okay?"
