She handed him the sandwich and saltines, "No prob. How is he?" She wasn't trying to be nosy but Makis worried looks towards him got to her.

She smiled and sighed as she stared at Makis door. She turned and walked back to the kitchen and sat at the table, finishing her salad.

he put the sandwich and saltines on the bedside tabled and was now pushing his fingers through Nates hair lightly

He sighed in his sleep and relaxed almost fully.
She rinsed her bowl in the sink as she heard someone came down the stairs.
