jess - i guess it depends on how long you take to complete the piece and what you need the cash for
if it's just to have spare money to buy stuff you don't need [like my case] then you don't have to charge much [maybe between 5 and 20 dollars] - it brings in more customers if you don't.
if you don't have a lot of free time, then you can charge more. it's hard to say what to charge for cash commissions, everyone is really underpriced - how low you want to go is up to you, i suppose.

I drew it for my mom for mothers day.
I was wondering if anyone had a rough idea what to charge for
something like this. (higher quality, with a background and
with more time spent on the coloring
and posing and stuff..i did this one quickly).
I'm just curious.
