I told him I liked him about a week or two before he started going out with her. Anndd he just turned 18 a week ago. And Jennalu brought up the point of maybe he's trying to protect himself from liking me or something. -shrugcry-
I started crying this morning, because I actually had time to think. I tried to keep talking all day, so I wouldn't think about it and thus people wouldn't get worried. :/

*hugs* Well... I mean... he is 18. 3: Even though it's a dumbass law, it is a law that 18 year olds and under 18 year olds can't be together. My friend Niki has gotten into a lot of trouble this last year because of her relationship with a 21 year old man-- she's been sent to court and he was nearly throw in jail. So... I can understand that sort of angle. But if he's trying to protect himself, he's probably trying to protect you too, since he cares about you. e_e S'like he doesn't want you to get too attached, either.

But I know about that whole time to think = cry thing-- it's really gotten to me the past few years with a couple o' things. Just... try to think of his side? I don't know. Out here in Cali, it's only illegal if you have sex. And neither of us is a sex before marriage person. Even if he doesn't want me to get too attached, the affection he showed this weekend didn't help, especially since I've already liked him for a year. ><;;

Oh, I didn't know that. In Tennessee, it's illegal if you even talk to an adult as something other than an adult. xP; So, yeah. But then I don't see a problem with it. Maybe he's just afraid of getting into a relationship that's fueled by serious emotions?
I've got a few snippets near my ears that I could hack off, if I felt like it. But I don't. xP

Well, Cait, I've never been one in relationships much so I don't really have much advice for you. What I can say, however, is that if thinking about him bothers you too much after a while, then it's unhealthy and if he's really ignoring your feelings then that's shitty of him, and he doesn't deserve you.
