Maryn watched people enr and leave the party one by one while she was still tipsy she began to sing "all by myself... dont wanna be all by myself"

She looked up at him. "Like what boy? My roomie? No." She laughed. "I dont like roomies. Its just to weird. Besides, Im not suppose to be here. I got in trouble with a teacher."
She looked at him a lil confused.
"Wheres your date?"

Out of no where the music stoped playing at the DANCE and the lights went out. The lights reactive pointing at the stage, background music activates, and then the curtain rises reaveling Shadow siting on a stool witha guitar and he starts singing and playing Hey There Delilah.

Hiro was going to fix this no matter what. He had been sulking the whole time, instead of being at the dance where he should have been. He was running there as fast as he could, with the smallest shread of hope that Maryn would be there.
He was getting closer to the building when he saw someone on a beanch nearby. It was Her, and by the sight of it, she might have been drinking. He stood there, wanting her to say something. When she didn't, he said in an almost inaudiable voice "...I messed up..." He looked at the ground. He didn't have anything else he could say.

She chuckled. "Thanks, although I'm usually quite the clutz. You'd be surprised how easily I trip." she said, really quite surprised she hadn't tripped by now, especially with dancing. Now that she thought about it, she'd only stuttered mabye once or twice while around him since the start of the dance. Was God planning something for her, or was her imagination losing it completely? She decided to relax, and enjoy the two of them dancing together, moving about the dance floor like swans on a lake: very gracefully.

She raised an eyebrow in interest. "Two hearts?" She pulled his hand gently towards the punch table and handed him a cup. "Go on.... If you dont mind." She smiled.

"I'd ususally take the or something, but since there's no telling what that may be..." Jesse smiled and took Alli by the hands. He felt something he'd never felt before when they're hands made contact. He closed his eyes a moment.
"You're beautiful...and don't let anyone tell you otherwise."
He led her closer to him.
"Because if you do...you give those people power to control you. And only you should be able to control you."
