"Kratos! Darren!" Corrine was about to rush after them but founnd she couldn't move.
"Stay back!" Raine had a good grip on COrrine's arm.

Ria snarled in fury, shifting into her lycan form and lunging at the assassin, sinking her fangs into his arm. /Dammit! I should have been more attentive!!/ She hoped that Kratos was all right. She was just starting to become attatched to these people... and he reminded her so much of her brother... calm, kind, rational.... protective... she couldn't bear to experience that again. Rage and fear spurring her on, she clung for dear life, refusing to be shaken loose.
The assassin, cringing in pain, had shifted his dagger to the opposite hand and was slashing clumsily at the wolf.

The assassin stopped attacking and shoved Ria off of him. He did a backflip and landed on a pole that was jutting out from a building. "Pitiful." He sped towards Darren just as he was getting up. Darren attempted to block but the assassin stabbed his stomach. /he's too damn fast.../ As his vision blurred, he heard a thud.
Kratos got off the ground to see the assassin stabbing Darren. He drew Flamberge and swung it at the assassin's neck.

Corrine clenched her eyes shut and turned her head as Kratos swung at the assassins neck. She waited for the 'thud' of the assassins head falling to the ground.

Darren fell to his knees, clutching his bleeding stomach. "That b*****d stabbed me..." he muttered. Kratos sheathed Flamberge and incinerated the assassin's body so it wouldn't stink or draw attention to them.

Corrine heard the thud and then she heard sizzling. She turned to see the last of the assassins body slowly turn to ash. She looked at Darren.
Raine pulled COrrine back and ran to Darren. She bagan trying to heal his wound.

The flesh on Darren's stomach wove itself together as Raine healed it, only a small scar remained. "Thanks." He said.

Ria groaned, once again in human form, and staggered to her feet, massaging her jaw. "Ow." The wolf-girl spat out blood. "Is everyone all right? Kratos? Darren?"

"I'm fine." Kratos said, picking up a small object laying near the assassin. "Little scar, but i'm alright besides that." Darren said.

She nodded. "Good. Seems like we're all intact, then." She looked around worriedly. "How long do you think we have before whoever sent them figures out they didn't get Corrine?"

Before anyone could answer, a bolt of lightning blasted down at them. Kratos flipped over and repelled it with Flamberge. "Right now." he said to Ria. Darren drew his swords, facing the attacker. There were three more assassins. "Dammit!" He lunged at one but the assassin disarmed him and pinned him to the ground in a quarter of a second. /He's so fast!/

"Well, that's just perfect....." Ria commented dryly. She pulled her dagger from its sheath, unable to return to her lycan form after just having expended quite a bit of energy. "Dark Knife!" With a flick of her wrist, she sent a small blade of dark energy flying at the assassin menacing Darren, hoping to dislodge his attacker.
((Oh- On some days when Tabitha can't be here, she said for me to RP as Aleda... so I'm gonna try to do that for her a bit. At some point...when I feel a bit more confortable with her character.))

Corrine looked about trying to keep up with the assassins' movements.

Kratos drew Flamberge and advanced on the assassins, who drew kunai daggers. He took a step forward and began to battle with all three of them.
