That night, I went back to the hotel and thought some more. I knew now that all Hyuuga are not cold and hearless basterds. Even Neji has some feeling. That made me feel good...really good. And who know's; maybe I can even change Neji....Nah!
Exo sent a letter to Rylen and Gisa. I won't be back as soon as I said. I need to go to the Hidden flame Village. I need to see my dad and Athena's family. I have to explain what happened and tell them that Zero is dead. But I won't forget about you, Rylen. I promised you I'd be back, and I will.

There was a knock at Exo's room door. "Yeah?" asked Exo. "It's Neji! Open the god damn door, Exo!" yelled Neji. "I'm coming!" said Exo as he opened the door. "We don't start training for another half hour. What's up?" asked Exo. "Hey...can we skip training today? Maybe go get some Ramen or coffee or something?" "Uh...sure...Okay!" Exo said.

I was a little shaken up by Neji's change in personality. This was a big change, and it might have been extremely hard for Neji. Was it a trap? Was this some new kind of training technique? Was he trying to catch me off guard?
"So...What's this really about?" asked Exo. "What do you mean?" asked Neji. "Why the sudden change of attitude?" "I realized.....you were right, I was wrong. I'm pretty tough, so I'm sure I can take a heart break or two. If you can do it, I can do it!" said Neji. "Now that sounds more like you, Neji," said Exo. "So...where are you headed to, next?" asked Exo. "Well, I'm going to The Hidden Flame Village, for personal reasons. Then I'm gonna head to the Guardian's Organization to get my sword from the leader, Gokusen Lee. Then I gotta go back to the Hidden Cloud and pick up my little kid sidekick...and....." "Then what?" asked Neji. ".....I don't know. I'll go to Village and Village....learning techniques and become a hokage," what about you?" asked Exo. "I don't know either! I'll find something!" said Neji. "I'll be back," he said as he walked to the bathroom.

Exo looked at Neji's seat and saw 6 empty bowls. "Man...he must have been hungry," Exo said to himself. "Are you ready for the bill, sir?" asked the waiter. "No...uh...my friend is in the bathroom. He's paying!" said Exo.
Two Hours Later...
Neji had peeled out and left me with the bill. I only had 60 pieces of silver to my name. The meal costed 40 and a ticket to the Flame Village costed 50. I had to save my money...I had to dine and dash!
The waiter turned his back and Exo ran towards the exit. Two guards blocked the doors. "Why are you running?" asked a guard. "Because...I'm super late. I'm a ninja and I need to train with Hyuuga, Neji," exo replied. "Did you pay?" asked the guard. "Hells yeah! Now excuse me," said Exo. "Let's ask the waiter. Yo! Waiter! Did this guy pay!?" asked the other guard. "Hells to the no! Get him!" "Hey, guard #1! Let's turn this guy upside down and shake him!" "Yay! I love bully cliche's like that!" said the guard as they both reached for Exo. He backflipped to avoid them and dived in and punched one of them. Exo threw a shuriken and it intentionally missed. The guard dodged it and looked at where it went. He turned back to Exo and got a serious Dynamic Entry jump kick to the face.

Exo ran out of the resturant and back to the field.The ownerd"Nobody eats a meal and then lies to my guards before beating them up and then running out back to some unknown location! Not in my resturant!"
I started training by myself, trying not to think of how wrong Neji treated me.I did the hand seal and did the 128 strikes of devination. I could almost execute all 128 hits...almost...
Neji returned to the field and said, "Long day, huh?" "You!!! You left me in the resturant to pay the bill! I had to dine and dash!!!" said Exo. "I just went to the bathroom! I told you I'd be back!" "I checked the bathroom! You weren't in there!" said Exo. "I didn't say which bathroom I was using. I like the one at my house better!" said Neji. "Let's just finish training, jerk!" said Exo. Neji smiled.
At the hotel, I thought about today. Maybe leaving me to get my a** whooped by giant bodyguards is his way of showing friendship. Maybe...he is changing. I felt as though I didn't have much time left in my training.

"Hey man, I'm sorry about the whole...running out on you thing yesterday. I'm willing to put it all behind me if you are," said Neji. "Yeah...I guess so. Now are we gonna finish training or what?" said Exo. "Alright! Let's go!" "What do you mean?" asked Exo. "Another sparring match! What'd ya say, Exo?" asked Neji. "Let's go! And in case you haven't heard...I'm pretty good. And when I'm good, I'm good! But when I'm bad, I'm better!" said Exo. "Let's go!" Neji did the neccesary hand seals to use Eight Trigrams Palm of Heavenly Spin. He charged towards Exo at full speed. Spyder jumped out of the ground and stopped Neji in his tracks. He shot three web balls at Neji. He cut them all in half with two kunai and Exo ran from under Spyder and used Spinning Leaf Kick on Neji's face. "Nice....But that was nothing, no offense. Let me show you the true power of a Hyuuga!" said Neji. He started the Hand seal for 128 strikes of Devination. Exo started as well.

The vicious look I had seen in Neji's eyes before was gone. He was at peace with the world. He was still in a hard nut shell and he was still as stone cold as Steve Austin. And maybe it was just me, but I had seen an improvement in Neji. His heart had actually came into play. He was a human. Man, I'm good.
Both fighters were at the same paste in doing the Hand Seals. And they were going pretty fast. The handseal was done. There was a long pause.....Neji looked at Exo....Exo looked at Neji. "You ready?" asked Neji. "You bet....Good luck," said Exo. "I don't need luck, but thanks anyway!" The charged at the same time. Each strike of the 128 strikes of Devination was evenly match. Each strike countered the opponents strike. The only thing that went through Exo's head was, "I hope I don't screw up. I hope all of this training wasn't all for naught......So far, so good."

The battle continued, Neji and Exo continued to block each others 128 Strikes of Devination with their own. "Had enough?!!!" asked Neji. "Already!?!!? Shiiiiiiit!" Then it happened. The moment that changed the whole fight. One of Exo's strikes was off, he hit Neji in the cheek and spit flew from his mouth and straight into Exo's eyes. The saliva threw off Exo's concentration and the Neji landed the remaining 23 strikes with a direct hit to 23 of his chakra points. Exo fell to his knees. "Man....you don't look so good, heh heh heh heh!" said Neji as he used his index finger to knock Exo to the ground. Neji turned around to walk away (just as he always does) and Exo got up and used 128 strikes of devination on Neji. Neji was hit with all 128 strikes and the decrease of chakra flow caused Neji to kneel to the ground. "Let's just call it a tie," said Exo. "Yeah....whatever...." said Neji.
Later.....
"Well, here!" said Neji as he handed Exo a small pouch of silver. "Thanks!" said Exo. "Hey, you kept me entertained for two weeks, the least I can do is give you a little parting gift," Neji replied. "So....does this mean we're friends now?" asked Exo. "Fu-Fu-Fux no! You don't deserve me!" Neji walked back to his house with a light smile on his face. Exo headed to the docks

Nemu had walked through Konoha, gazing in shocked horror at the sheer enormity of the destruction. Konoha was home to so many strong ninja, but even they weren't capable of preventing something like this? It was a sobering thought, and even more harsh was the fact that she was nowhere near as strong as those other ninja. It seemed ever so obvious that she wasn't needed here. That suited her, it hurt her heart just to see the village like this. Before she knew it, she had turned to walk towards her home, even though she was deathly afraid of seeing what might have happened to her home while she was away. Even so, she had to, she couldn't leave the village without checking on her parents, or friends.

She arrived at her house, but couldn't look at it right away, she had to steel herself for it first. She closed her eyes and clenched her fist, trying to do what she could to prepare herself for what she would see. But she had to look sometime, and when she finally opened her eyes, she let out a low moan of dismay. Her home was in shambles! Maybe not as bad as some other buildings, but certainly nowhere near as untouched as quite a few others. The roof looked in horrible shape, and the entire exterior looked ravaged. She gulped, feeling her gorge rise at the sight of her ruined house, but forced herself to approach, to see if the inside looked as bad as the outside.

Nemu walked inside of her house, moving carefully as the floor didn't feel too strong. Sure enough, it was in pretty bad shape. She called out to her parents, but there was no answer. She grew worried, had something happened to them? She moved further into her home, and finally noticed that it was actually deserted. Her parents must have gotten away before or immediately after, hopefully they were alright. She left a note, and tried to think what she had to do now. If she really wanted to leave the village, she had to grab some more of her things, spare clothes and her savings, not to mention a dozen other things that would make life easier.

She began the laborious process of skimming through the wreckage, trying to find the various items she wanted, hoping they weren't ruined. Some were, she had to leave them where they were, but others survived more or less unscathed. Those she put in her bag, readying herself for the journey that drew closer. It took some time, and there were quite a few disappointments, but finally she finished. Closing her bag, she took one last look around her house. It would be quite some time before she returned, she wanted to see it one last time, even if it looked like this. She stepped outside, and had one last idea. Scribblign a note on a scrap of paper, she used a kunai to stick it to the door. If her parents came back to look for her, and she didn't manage to find them, she didn't want them to worry. With that done, she got ready to depart the village once more. It could be quite a long time before she returned, and she truly regretted not staying to help clean the mess like so many of the other villagers, but she knew she would just get in the way, it was better with her gone.
"Goodbye, *yawn* Konoha..."

Komen woke up to find the sleeping kunoichi he was watching over had vanished from site. "Ahhh crap. I knew I over exerted myself." He said as he jumped out of his chair and used his byakugan eye to see where she could've gone. He had traced a particular set of footprints that he thought was Nemu's. He jumped from roof top to roof top and followed the foot steps to where Nemu was. He stopped right at the side of the house as he saw a chakra network near the entrance of the house. "Hmmm...could it be?" He said as he made his way to the front of the house. He finally saw her. "Nemu...What are you doing?"

As Komen watched her he was seriously thinking of what could be so important that she needed to sneak away from him. He was playing scanario after scenario in his mind until he was in a daze. The only ones that seemed to make sense was that she wanted to check on her family and was afraid that he himself would not let that happen and only hold Nemu-chan back from accomplishing that. Or two, She was a Konoha spy that has conjured up this plan to take down Konoha and is playing the innocent hurt card so she could get away again. Though he knew it wasn't the second one and was most likey the first, he still kept his guard up.

Nemu hadn't heard Komen arrive, woefully bad senses for a supposed ninja. Of course she was sort of out of it, but that was no excuse. When she first heard his voice, she gasped and whirled around, caught utterly off-guard. When she saw it was Komen she relaxed somewhat, but she still looked nervous.
"Oh, Komen. *yawn* I was... I... I can't be here..."
She hung her head a little as she spoke, and turned away, moving away from her house. Even though someone had caught her, that wouldn't change her plans. She would still leave the village, at least for a while. Maybe she could come back once it had recovered enough?

"Hmmm? What are you talking about Nemu? This is your home. We as Konoha Shinobi and Kunoichi have an obligation to help recover this village into it's gloriousness that it was before the attack." Komen said as he took a step towards her as he saw clearly that she was distraught of all this happening. He also started to wonder why she had come to this particular house. Was it just a random house or it was it actually her or someone that was dear to her's house.
As he got closer to her he hoped that she wouldn't run away again. If that happened he might have to follow her. He didn't know why but he had this strong urge to protect her.

Nemu had been afraid of that. He wanted her to stay, to help. She knew she was obligated to do just that, but she couldn't! Even just standing here, knowing how hurt the village was, was tearing her up, how much worse would it be if she had to stay and see it day after day?
"I'm sorry. I *yawn* can't! I just can't!"
Nemu turned her head away once more, tears welling in her eyes. It was much harder to leave knowing someone was watching her. Her legs felt bolted in place, like she'd been shackled to prevent her from leaving. Drawing upon all her fear and willpower, she took a first step. Then another. And another. They came faster and faster, she was running! Running away again, had she no loyalty to her home?!

Komen saw her running at high speed straight for the docks where she had just came from. "Damn it." Komen said as he gave chase. Though she looked like a small Kunoichi she had speed like Komen couldn't believe. "Nemu! Stop Running!" Komen said as he charged Chakra into his feet to Speed in front of Her. He used his body flicker technique to appear in front of her with his arms crossed across his chest. He knew that she wa hurting from all this but a Kunoichi of Konoha shouldn't run away from their problems. He wanted to see if he could help her to stay in the village if it was all possible.

also that initial idea that she was a spy started to creep into the back of his mind. This running away for this strange reason made no sense to komen. "damn...I hope she's not a spy..." He said as he really hoped not. For if she were, his honor wouldn't allow her to live as long as he lived. For the honor and love of his land, he would give himself a mission to hunt her down and eliminate her. But deep inside he was hoping, and pleading, that that was not the case as he continued to give chase to this amazingly fast and fleeing Nemu-chan. Komen charged chakra into his whole and leg to increase his stride.

Nemu's eyes were so blurred from tears she probably didn't even see Komen pass her and bar her way. She likely would have ran right into him had she not heard his words ring out. More out of habit than anything, she did as he said, and came to an abrubt halt. Maybe too abrubt, because she tipped right over. She landed hard on her knee but the shock woke her up enough to realize what had happened. She used her fall's momentum to keep moving, and narrowly dodged around Komen, passing along his side. She was close to the docks, just a little bit further and she'd be there! She could get away from this terrible sight, away to let things heal!
(And I'm out for the night. Her next post will likely put her at the docks.)

"Damn..." Komen said as she rolled passed him and bursted straight for the docks. "Damn it." Komen said as he was running with all his might to catch up. As he looked down he saw water drop lets on the ground. "I..Is she crying?" Komen asked as he never saw her face as she evaded him. "Damn this hurts me too but...God!" He said as he did everything to catch up to her as she ran passed the main entrance of Konoha. He saw the gates ran by him as he didn't have time to look back. "Sorry Konoha. I'll be back soon." He said as he got closer to her.
