Nemu had started wandering through the village, a helpless look on her face. How had all this happened, anyways? Was there a storm, had nature itself tried to destroy the village? No, from what she had heard this was all the work of a single ninja. And not just that, the head of Konoha had surrendered, now the Village Hidden in the Leaves was a possession of some organization fo some kind. Nobody knew what organization it was, but it had apparantly taken over Konoha now.

Nemu had kept walking, and finally worked up the courage to try to help some of the injured. There wasn't much she could so, she didn't really know any healing techniques, but she couldn't just let them lay there in pain! In between attempts at easing people's sufferings, she got up and looked around. Wait, what was that? She saw a young boy holding a very familiar looking teddy bear. Percival?! What was he doing outside of her house?!
"Percival?!"
Nemu ran up to Komen, her eyes locked on her teddy bear. She didn't appear to recognize her squadmate at all. Of course that probably wasn't much of a surprise, if she had forgotten her entire role in the incident.

Komen heard someone run up to his side as he was a bit lost thinking of where the ownerof the teddy bear was. He started to turn his head and then jumped back a bit. Her eyes were locked on the teddy bear and she looked like for a second that she was entranced by the bear itself.
"N..Nemu? Is that you?" Komen asked to try and make sense of all this. She had left Konoha and now returns. He wondered what she was doing up to now. Lot's of questions ran through his mind as she was just looking at the bear.

Nemu looked at Percival. He didn't seem hurt, maybe a little dirty. That was good, if something had happened to him... But why did this boy have him? Had something happened to her house? Was her family alright? Her friends? She began to worry a bit, and all the excitement made two things happen. One is she wobbled a little as she nearly swooned again. The second was a big yawn. Wait, had he said Nemu? How did he know her name? She had never seen him before, had she?
"Um, yes, I'm Nemu. But *yawn* who are you?"

Komen raised an eyebrow. He felt a bit sad that someone had forgtten about him. But then pieces started to click into place as Komen started to hink about it. Maybe she left because of the trauma of seeing her home destroyed. Or maybe seeing her friends hurt and injured. Or when she was running away she was struck wiith a mind altering technique. Either way Kmen was going to find out.
"Umm...Your kidding right? It's me Komen. We are both in squad Zero. You and me helped saved some of these people after the attack against Konoha. Remember?"

Nemu tilted her head in confusion. Squad Zero? Sure, that was the squad she'd been added to, but she had never met any of the other members, had she? It had almost seemed like she wasn't even a part of a squad. Wait, he said she had been here? She had been here while this happened? Did she do anything to stop it? She wouldn't have let something like this happen if she could have stopped it, could she?! She-
"Ooooowwwww!!"
Nemu clutched her head, memeories started bubbling to the top after her subconscious had buried them. Memories of fire, and destruction, fear and pain, trying to save lives and running away. It was all too much, she couldn't handle all these images! She finally gave up, and lost consciousness.

Komen saw that she had passed out in the ground. His eyes widened as he knelt down beside her. He felt her pulse to se if she had some kind of stroke or something. Her pulse was the same just that she had lost consciousness. "Damn...Sacura!" Sacura nodded and came over. She saw that their was tension in the head region. A lot of chakra was being drawn to it to build walls to subdue images of the past and selected memories. Sacura wondered Why someone would do that to themselves but it was something that was beyond her capabilities to deal with.

"Nothing I can do komen. She just needs rest. I need to get to the others." Komen nodded as he he held her sitting up. "Come on now. I think we should bring you to the safety zone to relax." He said as he picked her up and started to make his way toward the safety zone through the village which all shinobi were doing their best to fix up. He even saw the Inazuka clan help out with their very sensitve noses to pick out buried citizens of konoha. "Hmmm this is such a horrible yet nice sight." Komen said as he jumped from building to building.

Within the murky depths of her unconsciousness, Nemu dreamed. It was more of a nightmare than a dream, for she was reliving flashes and segments of the attack on Konoha. She watched as dozens of fireballs and lightning bolts arced down to crash against the village in slow motion, only to spark an enormous fire. She tried running towards it, but the ground slanted sharply and she fell to the ground. She tried to get to her feet, but it was no use, she was too weak.

It only got worse from there, as she began to see the horrors magnify, as if that were only the beginning. A tidal wave crashed into the village, smashing buildings to bits and sweeping Nemu up into it's cold depths. Even so, the fires didn't go out, the water seemed to fuel them as they only grew larger, surrounding her. Finally, when she was at the edge of reason, everything went black as her memories once more locked themselves down, giving her only a barest glimmering of what had happened.

Komen saw her kicking and groaing in her sleep as he carried her from rooftop to rooftop in his arms. He was worrying a bit for her as he knew that she just needed to relax in a place more comfortable. he landed in the Safey zone where most of the citizens of Konoha had ran to get to safety.
Komen found a room in a empty baracks that was used to house the protecting shinobi and laid Nemu there. "I hope that she will be ok." He said as he pulled up a chiar to sit next to her. He took the teddy Bear and placed it in her arms.

Nemu stirred, and woke up. She moved to a sitting position, looking around. Where was she now? She didn't recognize anything about her surroundings, it almost looked like a barracks of some kind. Why would she be in a barracks? She sat up a little straighter, and felt something fall in her lap. Looking down, she saw her teddy bear, Percival. What was he doing here, this wasn't her home! She looked over to her other side and saw a young man sitting next to her bed, it seemed he had dozed off. She didn't recognize him, but he looked familiar somehow.

Nemu didn't want to wake Komen up, so she got out of the bed as quietly as she could. She went to the barrack's doorway, and was struck all over again by the destruction that had befallen Konoha. As soon as she saw it, a portion of her memories returned to her, she remembered most of what had happened since she had first returned to Konoha this last time. Basically everything except Komen telling her her own role in the destruction. She looked back at Komen, she knew who he was now, and that he had been in the village helping out, like she should have. Something must have happened to her, and he had helped? That was really nice of him!

Nemu didn't want to wake him up, but she didn't want to just disappear on him without a word of thanks. Working as carefully as she could, she moved him into the bed she'd vacated, and covered him up. For him to doze off like that, he must have been tired too. She dug a scrap of paper and a pen out of her bag, and wrote him a note. Setting it down on the now-empty chair, she turned and walked out of the barracks. Now that she was able to remember even a part of what had happened, her mind had been fairly active. She knew what she had to do, even though it made her depressed. She couldn't bear to see Konoha like this, it hurt too much. She wanted to help, make it look as warm and safe as it had been before, but she didn't know what she could do to make the situation better. She had no talent, she'd just slow everyone else down. No, the only thing she could do was run away. She felt guilty, but if she left the village, maybe they could rebuild it, without a worthless ninja like her to slow the process down. Yes, that would be best. But where could she go?

Hurdy boarded the boat for Hidden Leaf, he would return to this famous place to restore himself once again. He needed to be in tip top shape if he wanted to be in the alliance and live a long time. He needed to be normal. Or what Normal was to an akasun. Hurdy got in his seat he noticed the driver of the boat loked different than normal, wearing a new uniform, and all the people treated Hurdy with utmost respect, uncommon for a Missing ninja. He wondered why this is, but didn't question it further. It would happen soon enough that he finds out about the thruth, he had that fealing and they usualy came true.

He stood up out of his seat, as the boat pulled up to the Village hidden in leaves. Hurdy went to leave as all the crew bowed to him. "Why? WHy do you respect me so, and do all this stuff so nicely?" Hurdy had to ask, it was killing him. They all replied in unison: "Well, you are in the alliance, the alliance controls Hidden LEaf. You are our master." Hurdy smiled, this was awesome, he had subbordinates. "Well, thank you. I must go now. When I come back I will look completely different. Look for the pendent to find me." Said Hurdy, Holding up his Yellow pendent.

Maddiox 3 Neji was silent, so was Exo...."A sparring match," said Exo. "Seriously.....Why?" "I want to prove that caring about someone isn't called being soft. It's called being a friend!" "You're in for the ride of your life, Exo. I'm gonna give you one last chance to back down and get your mind straight," said Neji. Exo pulled out the sword that Zaon gave him. "You're serious....let's go then!" said Neji. Neji dashed over the Exo with great speed and used Gentle Fists on mid section. Exo slowly fell to the ground. He put his sword down and pulled out his home made acid tubes. He threw 3 and Neji dodged them all. He rushed towards Exo and attempted a powerful attack. 128 strikes of devination 3 of 14 "Perfect! DRAGON HAMMER!!!" yelled Exo. His sword began to glow pink and he attempted to knock Neji's attack away. But Neji was too powerful. The Dragon Hammer technique only decreased the power of Neji's attack, it didn't stop it completely. "You're just stalling the inevitable, Exo. I gave you a chance to back down. I even showed you a little compassion, but my policy still stands. No mercy....no remorse!" With that being said, Neji dashed towards Exo and tried 128 strikes of devination. Before he finished the handseals, Exo did the handseal to 64 strikes of devination. Neji approached Exo and at the same time, they unleashed their techniques. Neji was using 128 strikes of devination, and Exo was countering his blows with the 64 strikes technique. 128 strikes of Devination 4 of 14

But after the 64th hit, I was defenseless. Before Neji finished him, I looked him in his cold and unforgiving eyes. I didn't want to be like him. I wanted to be a good person. But Neji made me feel as though all Hyuuga were destined to be like this. Or at least all in the Branch Family.
Neji delivered the last 64 blows to Exo, and Exo fell to the ground. He looked up at Neji. You're still moving? I must have done something wrong," said Neji. "It's because you care enough not to kill me," Exo replied. "Do you think I got to where I am today by caring and sharing? You must be on crack! I don't care who I step on, as long as I benefit from their defeat. Speaking of benefits...I won't gain anything by killing you!" said Neji as he turned his back and walked away. Before he disappeared out of Exo's site he said, "We continue training tommorow, Exo! Bring your A+ game. And get a better strategy!"

After I gained the strength, I limped to the hotel and layed in the bed. I thought about the a** whooping Neji gave to me. But then again, I did suggest the sparring match. Why is he still training me. I tried to beat him up. Maybe he really does care, or maybe he's just really bored. Who knows? And who really cares? I'm learning a technique and Neji's teaching me.
In the morning, Neji and Exo met in the same field they met in every time for the past 6 days. "How are you feeling, Exo?" asked Neji. "I'm feeling fine! And you?" "Never been better. We've still got a long way to go, so you better be prepared. The training's not really that rigorous, but you'll sweat," said Neji. "Yeah...After all, it is 128 strikes. Now how do we do it?" "There are more handseals in this than in the 64 strikes. But it's worth it. Now repeat after me," said Neji as he demonstrated the handseals. "You'd better catch up Exo. I won't do this too many times!" Exo hurried with and followed Neji's demonstration.

Let's take a little break, Exo," said Neji. "Really? Why?" asked Exo. "Because, I need to ask you a couple of questions." "Like what?" "What's it like? Having friends and...love? What's it like? How does it feel?" asked Neji. "Neji.....Are you gay? Are you coming on to me?" asked Exo. Neji punched him in the chest. "No, basterd! I just want to know what a normal life is like." "It's great! Happiness is great! Haven't you ever been happy?" asked Exo. "Why? Happiness is the first step to sadness. If you never experienced being happy, then being sad isn't that big of a deal," said Exo. "Are you serious?! You actually think like that? Are you a robot or something?! You don't wanna be happy because you're scared to be sad? Now who's the soft one?" asked Exo. "You....Now the break's over! You see what you did!?" said Neji. Exo looked at Neji, chuckled a little and continued training.
