Nemu showed the three children the way to the same 'safety zone' she'd been using up until now. She didn't have time to make sure they found the rest of their family, she immediately turned and headed back to the village. All the fires were put out, the lightning had ceased, all the previous destruction had gone eerily quiet. She didn't know why, but she got a really bad feeling from it all. Shaking it off, she headed back further into the city to see if she could locate any other survivors. It was slow going, she had to check each house she came across, and use her senses to their fullest, just to make sure she didn't miss any clue or sign of life. But she kept at it, doing her utmost to try and find more people who needed help. If it was all the same, she would rather she not found anyone else, that there was no one else in the village who had been hurt or killed in that sudden chaos. (31)

Komen continued to help the injured man outside. "lee I need to search for more people. Can you take over from here?" Komen asked as Lee nodded to komen. "yes I will take care of it. You can count on me." Lee started to help the injured man toward the safety zone along with the others.
Komen watched Lee walk away and started his search once again. He wondered what Nemu was upp to and if she had found any survivors. "Ok now...I think the south of Konoha is cleared I will meet back up with Nemu." he said as he body flickered away.

Nemu looked over the last stretch of houses she'd checked. At their northern edge was the beginning of the government of the village. The Hokage, the ANBU, and much of the council members; they all resided in that section. It was also built much more defensively, it looked like it hadn't been damaged too terribly. She had to hope that the ANBU would be able to handle things there, that she could devote herself to the rest of the village with Komen. As far as she knew, the West was pretty much cleared now, but she made on last search, just to make sure. She went through the houses as quickly as she dared; it didn't appear that anyone else had been left behind. She turned and went towards the center of the village to hopefully meet up with Komen before they figured out what to do next. (32)

Nemu reached the center of the village without mishap. She checked a few houses on her way, even though she'd already checked them earlier. She didn't find any signs that she had missed anyone, so she went ahead and continued on to the village's center. Coming to a stop, she didn't see Komen anywhere, had he already gone on ahead without her? That probably wouldn't surprise her too much, she was a bit slower than most ninja. She would have thought being on the same squad might have made him consider waiting, but no, that didn't appear to be the case. Well, then she better hurry and catch up! (33)
Nemu moved from house to house, checking if anyone had been trapped, or injured, or worse. She was assuming Komen had already come through this way and helped the majority of the people, because she was not finding anyone at all. That was good, it meant there were less people afraid and in pain. But she still hadn't even seen a sign of Komen yet, how far ahead had he gotten? Well, it didn't really matter, it was better if he was fast. The sooner that he helped the people who had still been in trouble, the better. That meant she should try to be faster as well! (34)
Nemu went from house to house, checking very carefully, but still she hadn't found anyone yet. It was odd, the entire section of the village was pretty much empty, even if Komen had started already he couldn't have done that many houses, could he have? Maybe a large part of this section had already been empty? What sort of buildings were these, anyways? She looked a little closer, and found out something she hadn't really picked up on before. They didn't look like most of the buildings she'd seen in her previous searches. It looked like quite a few of these buildings were not homes! (35)
Well, that explained it. The reason she was finding so few people who needed help was because much of the villages homes were in the sections she and Komen had already checked. That made her feel a bit better, that they had gone to the area where they were most needed first. But even so, she couldn't stop checking just because of that. What if someone had been in this section of town, and she hadn't noticed them? That would be terrible! She renewed her search, looking as closely as she could, to try and see as much as she could, to see things as detailed as possible, all in the hopes it would help her. (36)
She had already checked quite a few buildings, in fact, over three quarters of the entire Eastern side of Konoha. She hadn't seen anyone yet, Komen included. That was odd, if he was that far ahead of her, he should have already been returning to the center of the village. The fact that she hadn't seen him at all since they split up made her alittle nervous. Was she the only one checking, had something happened to him now? Had the person or persons who had attacked the village come back and attacked Komen? She couldn't answer these questions, all she could do was keep searching, if there was anyone else left to save in the village. (37)
Wait! What was that? Nemu stopped in mid-step, and tilted her head as she heard a faint sound. She could just barely hear it, it sounded like something being dragged? That wasn't promising. She tried to find it, but the sound was so soft it was hard to locate. She didn't give up, instead she called out if anyone needed help. The dragging sound stopped for an instant, and she was worried she might have scared them. But no, a moment later she heard a weak voice calling out from her left. She hurried over, and found someone, and they weren't in good shape. From what she could tell, they must have been inside of a building when it collapsed around them, there was a large scorch-mark on their back. They said they couldn't move their legs, but they could still feel them. That, at least, was good. If they could still feel their legs, then maybe there was hope their injury would heal. (38 )
Nemu tried to think of what she could do, she wasn't strong enough to lift the person all by herself, was she? But there didn't seem to be any other option, so that was just what she did. It took a lot of work, and it was rather slow, since they couldn't move very fasy. But eventually she got them on her back and began the process of going back to one of the nearest training fields, which for now were serving as a combination triage and safety zone. Luckily it wasn't too far to the closest one, Nemu could already feel her strength dwindling, the person had been even heavier thans he thought! She finally made it, and found a spot to set her passenger down at. She had to stop and rest for a moment, catch her breath. (39)
She didn't rest for long, she wouldn't let herself. Not while there could still be people who needed help! She got to her feet, yawned hugely, and was off. She returned to teh same part of the village she had left off at, and set about resuming her search. Aside from that one person, though, it seemed that this area seemed kind of deserted. Maybe they had gotten an advance warning, or maybe there had been someone who had came and helped them before Nemu and Komen had gotten that far. Hopefully the fact that there wasn't really anyone there was a good thing, not a bad thing. (40)
Nemu finally came to a stop. There were no buidlings left to check, besides the ones to the North, where all of the village's elders and council members resided. She had to hope that the ANBU would be enough to handle any emergencies up there, although she would have thought that at least someone would have come to check the situation on the rest of the village. As if on cue, a cloaked and hooded figure dashed past, leaping from rooftop to rooftop. They seemed to notice Nemu out of the corner of their eye, and turned around to run towards her. She felt a moment of panic, seeing that odd animal face mask dashing towards her, but she felt sure it was just her nerves. (41)
Sure neough, the first question they asked was if she was alright. She was, and immediately went into what she'd seen happening in the village as a whole. She told the ANBU where the injured villagers had been taken, and was considerably relieved when they said that they could take care of things from here, that she could stop. Thank goodness! Nemu slid to a heap on the ground, utterly exhausted. Even so, she didn't fall asleep right away, not with all the adrenaline and fears running through her. Was this her home now? This village that had once been so beautiful, now a husk of it's former self? Would she ever be able to look at Konoha the same way again, now that she had seen what could have happened to it? (42)
Nemu woke up a long moment later, she had finally managed to doze off. Her sleep had been fitful at best, horrible dreams combinging the worst of what she'd seen and what she had feared had tormented her throughout. She woke up, with tears in her eyes, it had all been so horrible and terrifying, she had thought it was all happening again! Looking around, she saw all the destruction that had befallen her quiet and peaceful home. At that moment, a realization hit her. She could not really call the Hidden Leaf Village her home any longer. With this attack, the sanctity of her home had been broached, she could enver again feel safe here. She had lost her home. (43)
Nemu finally managed to get up, and walked throughout the village she had called home just a few hours ago. It had changed so much, and so drastically, in such a short amount of time. It looked nothing like Konoha, now it looked like the pictures and sketches of the after math of the Great War. She couldn't live in such a place, she had to get out! She had no idea where any of her squad mates had gotten, but she didn't care. She headed directly for the docks, one goal and one goal only in her mind. Get away, get away from this place! (44)

Komen continued his search for Survivors and the Search for Nemu. "Damn...where could she be." He siad as he headed for the entrance of Konoha. Maybe she was busy trying to help people leave the village. He kept his Byakugan eye on as he was searching. He jumped from building to building as He found Nemu finally but...she looked like she was running away. Komen found it strange and started to follow her. "Is she chasing someone?" Komen said as he sped up to try and get to her before she reached the nearby docks
"Hmm...I wonder if she's running for an enemy or running away...I know it's a bad feeling knowing your village is destroyed but..." Komen said as he still tried to get to her."

Komen saw the ship speed off as it's engines engage. "Damn..." Komen said as he didn't get a chance to meet her again. "He kicked the ground a bit as he wanted to see why she was running away. She had helped so many to just run away. He was also hoping that Nemu wouldn't become a missing Nin either because if she did, he might be ordered from his Alliance to kill her. A good Kunoichi like that didn't deserve to be struck down like that.
He looked over the docks and found a teddy bear laying out on the docks. "hey...it's her Teddy Bear Percival...why would she leave it behind?" Komen asked as he looked at it, then back up to the ship that sailed away. "Where are you going Nemu." He watched the sun begin to rise ahead. The birds chirping and the smoke that filled the village begin to lift. A new day was dawning.

Komen started to make his way to the village as he knew that their was much much more to do. he had to try and get the Village repaid and to see if their was still anymore survivors out in the village. Also he had try and search the village for any enemy shinobi's that may have sneaked in while the chaos was engulfin all of Konoha. Komen looked and saw that all the shinobi were doing their best to fix the village. He saw that neji and Hinata had divided into two search groups and combed the city for any survivors. He saw that Chouji and his father start to push and pull against huge debris to try and make everything safe.

Komen saw also that Rock Lee and his sensei were kicing down doors and destroying the debris that was hanging and otherwise dangerous. Even Komen opened his eyes wide when he saw that Lazy Shikamaru helping out with his own barehands as he carried debris away. He saw Shakiamaru held a handseal and shout out a name but komen couldn't here it. Shikamaru's shadow grew tentacles and demolished the weaker placed debris with ease. "Whoa everyone is helping." Komen said as he ran to go help these heroes.

Komen started to use his chakra spike armor to pierce heavy debris and carry it out of the way and into a debris Pile that everyone was putting there. it was starting to get huge and many shinobi started to try and scrap out any materials they could salvage for other buildings or for weapons they could possibly make. they did not want to waste anything what so ever.
Komen looked over and found Sakura and Naruto helping people. "Hey Guys." Sakura and Naruto looked at Komen.
"Komen-kun?" Sakura said to him.

Nemu disembarked from the boat and looked in the direction of Konoha. It didn't look any different now, maybe the people she'd talked to had been mistaked? She certainly hoped that was the case. But even so, she still ran towards it, eager to see her home after being away for several days. Of course she had come back earlier, during the incident, but didn't remember any of the details from that stretch of time. She came to a sudden stop as she saw what Konoha had become during her absence. Buildings lay in ruin, people lay injured; the entire village looked in dire straights. She paled visibly and nearly fainted, but managed to stay conscious. "No... it really happened... Why, how could they *yawn* let this happen...?!" (1)

"Sakura I need o you to help some injured people near the Entrance." Sakura nodded as she got up.
"Sakura-chan I got this here. Go with Komen." Naruto said as he was helping with his own barehans and his will power to save his village. It would be meaningless to become Hokage to a destroyed Village. This is what Komen was thinking as he smirked and started to make his way back to the entrance of konoha.
As they got there Sacura immediately saw an injured couple and started to use her healing techniques to help them.
"HmmmI hope they will be alright." Komen said as he still pulled out the teddy bear from his shirt. it has been awhile since he lost sight of the Kunoichi.
