Seto shrugged, and held up the Millennium Rod to take over Rei to force her to tell him, perhaps. Another bright flash came from Bakura, and Seto blinked, glancing over. "Hmm. You've got a Millennium Item now? Well that's just great."

"Fine. But do anything funny and I kill you." Seto grumbled, slowly unlocking the cell. Bakura glanced at Rei with an arched eyebrow, but shrugged and left the cell.

"Let go!" Ryou complained as Seto led them up the stairs. He shot a warning glance at a guard, who was about to say something, and the guard resumed his normal position. He brought them to the doors of the pharaoh's chambers. Bakura had gotten more and more quiet and closed up as they walked along, and shivered slightly as he waited outside as Seto went in to speak to the pharaoh.

Rei was becoming slghtly nervous as well her grip tighting on ryou. she had a badddd feeling about this.

Soft voices could be heard through the door, but not loud enough to hear the words being said. Soon, the door opened, showing Atem sitting up in bed, rubbing his eyes and stretching and whatnot. Seto quickly slipped outside. "The pharaoh will see you in... just a little bit." He said slowly.

Atem came outside a little bit later. He mumbled something incoherently, rubbing his eyes. "What is it you want?"

Bakura's expression had changed, however, from the thief's nervous and slightly angry one to a more calm, sly one. He caught Rei's eye and smirked slightly. The modern-world Bakura had taken charge, and didn't plan on letting the pharaoh get away with anything. And if Ryou took his place, well, his past self's place, then his plan would be messed up.

Rei had to think for a moment before she turned looking at bakura "give me my bakura back your not helping" she said.
