stellarmagic I didn't say that the MC is the exclusive guild/federation/alliance for the mercenaries. But it'd be an alliance of large mercenary companies, and lets face it this era makes mercenary work into a boom industry. I know that. Though it might be a bit foolish to attack Tett straight on.

I was going for a less-racial bend to the corporations. Member mercenary corporations will be as follows.
Body Count Inc. - Founded by the mysterious woman Seleene, Body Count Inc. began operations as little more than mercenary team of hitmen (Actually hit women but whatever). Since its creation it has grown into a highly competent and well organized mercenary army that specializes in black ops and deception. One of its unique features is that all its high level commanding officers are female. This has given its officer corp the moniker "Battle Angels".
Seraphin Technologies - Seraphin Technologies started life as a little more than a shipbuilder that experimented with asteroid interception technologies. That all changed with they were hired to destroy a competitor's shipyard with their asteroid interceptor. Since then Seraphin Technologies has become the primary fleet and siege wing of the Mercenary Coalition and it's CEO is the current chairman of the council of twelve that governs the Mercenary Coalition's actions.
Contraband Inc. - Beginning life as a simple shipping company, Contraband Inc. slowly moved to smuggling, and ultimately arms dealing. As such it is the logistical backbone of the Mercenary Coalition. Headed by former spice smuggler Charrigo, the corporation occasionally still conducts independent shipping contracts and smuggling without council approval.
FRICK Inc. - There's a story behind FRICK that states that its founder always wanted to execute his adversaries with "Drugon with fricking laser beams!". As to whether its true or not, FRICK has a mad nature that coincides with that comment. More impetuous and aggressive then the other three member corporations. FRICK tends to be used as shock troops in joint operations. Their reputation for being impetuous is quite well deserved, and can be partly explained by their heavy recruitment of aggressive species. Their current CEO is an old Rodian veteran named Colo.

So its a conglomerate then. And how, after sinking most of their funds into a warfleet that was only crushed by a combined Republic/Tett force, did the Sith Systems scrape up enough capital to hire this conglomerate?

Maybe I'll start out in a relatively neutral position and let them figure it out, just do little contracts they can pay me for at the start.

Marr and Demia both have credits. Might wanna send emissaries to them. And if Elvis' smuggling takes off, your smuggling concern can attempt to either put him out of buisness or convince him to join. Don't try contacting Nakara. Nelowulf has made it clear he works in the shadows.

Thats what I figured for Nelo, if he wants me to do something he'll have some sort of intermediary do it for him, keeping him in the shadows.
Now just to draw up my character and the ships they use. The Seraphin INC. history kind of indicates the use of siege weapons on occasion for the destruction of individual facilities. So they'll at least have a couple "Space Mortar Barges" as I like to think of them.

I personally love the siege warship, it sees far too little action in Star Wars.
Course I'm quite certain that mine will operate differently then yours.

stellarmagic I personally love the siege warship, it sees far too little action in Star Wars. Course I'm quite certain that mine will operate differently then yours. Its an obvious design actually, and not mine to begin with. What I did was just create a more primitive torpedo sphere. Instead of utilizing a mass bombardment, though, I went more primitive and just created a single siege gun. But thats not what I'm talking about. What I'm talking about was my unit strength and deployment. You I told that, enough at least to make you a threat and thats my own fault. So I'm just thankful I have back up plans.

The space end of this could quickly become two giants in the playground.

No, right now its a giant verses a gang, and the gang sometimes fights itself.

Nakara never sends an intermediary; he just changes his looks...
But up and coming, he'll be out stealing things, so unless someone wants to start pulling heists to speed his progress up, I doubt there's much to do on his end short of quell the recent hostile takeovers. Most people don't have much buisness with huttspace where he's stationed anyway...
