Hebal shrugged giggling slightly as a close up shot of Mari appeared on the screens briefly while they summed up who had gone through "Hehe look theres you up there from earlier. I don't know how those weird crazy machine things work, Alpha is the one to ask if you are particulally interested in it. Still sales are... going quite slow at the moment. We've sold one dress so far but maybe it will pick up during the rest of the day" she pondered optimistically.

Felina blushed feeling slightly guilty forgetting Oassu was going to struggle cutting his steak "Save your energy and let the clone go. I'll cut the steak for you" she insisted reaching over with her steak knife to assist the clone in cutting it up. "You know some games never died over time, like tag and hide and seek. But we had rocking horses and balls and doll houses and stuffed animals and a swing set to name a few"
Satoshi, spotting a pile of empty crates meandered through the stalls working out which they belonged to so she could request them. Meanwhile the moogle nodded at Gil while she felt all the dress materials "My wings are too small to do anything other than hover kupo. I want something soft" she told Gil shyly.
Yusti raised her eyebrow at Zadina surprised by his comment "Oh really? I actually think their armor is a lot cooler than the other peoples. The vikings and the samurai look the most intimidating to me when dressed from head to toe in the stuff" she quietly added as a samurai walked past fully clad "See like that one but I have actually seen quite a few male viera in the tournament file so they can't be as rare as you think."

Oassu shook his head "Don't worry about it, I've got this covered sounds like you were a very lucky girl, did you and Zadina's family get along ok?" he asked her trying some of his steak happily.
Gil smiled "Don't worry little one just feel about until you find one you like" he said moving down the line "If you don't want a dress you could try the chocolate next door." he said
Mari smiled watching the samurai go by "I wonder if he's really from my lands, I know our village wasn't the only one with Samurai but our land had lots of similar villages "And only one dress?" she frowned surprised "I expected Gil's reputation to draw a few people over." she murmered confused.
Zadina giggled "Thats fine I've never seen a viking but Miss Mari is a super samurai! You should see the impressive tricks she can do with her sword!" he insisted "Though I don't think she has full armour like that samurai" he added thoughtfully.

Hebal sighed admitting to herself she had expected to sell more of them "Actually Gil has sort of been hanging around not so much at the front of the stall but not at the back either. Plus most of the corwd all morning would have been too busy pushing and shoving through eachother to get arena tickets to notice him. Not to worry, we just need to draw in the right market of people and isn't that moogle kid so cute" she grinned wishing she had a kupo nut on hand.

Felina munched on her steak happy that Oassu was now able to manage himself "Well we did and we didn't get on. Dad was actually quite close to my uncle but there was something a little... strange and cold about his mother though. I mean she was nice enough to me but something about her didn't seem right. We saw eachother a lot when younger but then something happened between my dad and ucle and as a result they stopped seeing or even talking to eachother" she explained with her mouth full.
A thick cloud of smoke appeared a couple of metres from the stall revealing a crate carrying Satoshi once settled "Here you go little missy, something better to stand on than Gil" she smiled laying them out along the edge of the display. Let me know if I can do anything else for you" she added waving to a curious geomancer who decided to investigate.
The moogle jumped up clapping her hands in praise of the service "Thank you mr and mrs shop people I''ll let you know when I have found something cool. Chocolate would be an ok present but... big brother always gets her chocolate and I want to get something that little bit different"
Yusti scratched her chin but suddenly pulled Zadina further towards her and pointed to the screen "See that seeq with the funny looking horned helmet on the screen? Thats what a viking looks like in full armor" she presented before turning to talk to the gria she recognised in her own language. After a few minutes of conversation the geomancer nodded and began to look at the dresses.

Oassu nodded chewing his steak while watching the fight "Seems like some family troubles, still least you and Zadina are still ok, and Elorin didn't seem to have a problem with him when we visited you know" he chuckled.
Gil smiled letting the moogle down on the boxes "Well have a look around I'm sure we've got something your mother would like" he said putting his arm around Satoshi to watch the moogle girl pick.
Zadina giggled "That Seeq looks silly" he said as the Seeq staggered about dizzily after a blow on his helmet before swinging his axe around madly blindly catching the elven warrior in the chest sending him flying across the arena as a shocked crowd gasped "Is he allowed to use an axe in this competition...I mean I know it's a blade tournament but I figured more swords was what you meant" he mused.
Mari giggled "Looks like he's doing plenty work now" she said noting a few curious passers by looking at the armoured figure "And yeah moogles are really cute little kids even moreso but I think she'd be scared by Sophia..." she sighed letting Ivy dance on her fingertips while making sure Sophia was still playing with her teddy.

Hebal put her hand over her mouth for a moment stopping herself from squealing at the moogle "Well he has their attention but he needs to draw attention in. Like offer an autograph to anyone who buys" she quietly suggested rubbing her hands together then patted Sophia's back "Yeah most likely her momma has already taught her tonberries are bad. Theres all sorts of storys about them bringing bad luck if your very naughty as a kid. Who is your friend by the way?" she added to Yusti noticing her chatting to the other gria.

Yusti frowned listening to the gasps of the stunned audience in the stadium followed by the area judge announcing the disqualification of the seeq. "Someone is going to be in big trouble later on for allowing him in what that. Although he did register a sword for the tournament" she sighed suddenly remembering Hebal had spoke to her "Oh yeah thats one of my friends, she's a judge at the second arena" she answered glancing over at her friend who looked up at the screen with disgust.
Felina licked her lips placing a huge chunck of the steak onto her fork "Of course dad and I would be ok with Zadina. I got a long well with him and never knew why he stopped coming around to play so much. As for dad, well he always said don't dislike the family, just dislike the one that did you harm" she shrugged forcing the food into her mouth.
Satoshi grinned putting her own arm around Gil's armor pulling him slightly closer "Well done you for looking after the kid so well. Hopefully the stall won't start to smell too much of oranges and lemons since thats what was in the crates before they were emptied out" she chuckled ignoring all the glances at Gil.

Zadina giggled "Guess it wasn't allowed after all, silly Viking" he chirped finding it amusing to see the Seeq airlifted out.
Oassu smiled chewing his food "This is good stuff but ok at least you and Zadina can spend lotsa time together now!" he said brightly "And your dad's right about that then that means Zadina's dad did something bad." he mused.
Gil nodded "Even if it does I like that citrus smell, still is there anything that catches your eye little miss?" he asked moogle girl as she looked over the clothes frowning briefly at the disqualified Seeq "If the swordsman was good he wouldn't have been beat." he chuckled.
Mari frowned "I don't think we can abuse Gil's fame like that but I'd never heard anything bad about tonberries still hello there" she said to the new geomancer "I'm in the competition!" she introduced herself to the judge.

Hebal giggled recalling what she was told when she was little "You know they told me when I was little, if I wasn't quiet at bed time I would attract the attention of the tonberries and they would cut off my ears, they never did though" she grinned triumphantly striking a pose around the side of the stall "Heya judgy person what you gonna do with the disqualified warriors?" she asked curiously.

Felina sighed cutting up her steak up into smaller pieces "Yeah either than or they just had some really big argument. Whenever I asked dad about it he always changed the subject and whenever I asked mum she told me to keep my nose out of private affairs. Must have been something pretty big butwhatever it is it doesn't seem to effect Zadina either so I am glad" she smiled sprinkling some salt onto her dish.
Satoshi shook her head in disagreement at Gil "Thats a pretty unfair statement you know Gil. I mean what chance does a blunted sword have against an axe that size. He wouldn't be able to do much damage where as that axe could cause serious injury without having a direct hit. It's like pulling a gun out in a sword fight" she defended the elf after the moogle told Gil she was still looking.
Yusti stepped back concentrating on translating the answer from her friend "She says sorry, I don't speak much of your language but she knows your in the competition because she saw your profile and people tried to push her into looking after your pet instead of me. That guy will be booted out and banned from all tournaments and areas for life as punishment so don't worry, justice will be done" she reassured Zadina patting his head.

Oassu frowned while his clone struggled with a particularly tough bit of steak "Well I wonder what happened to his parents anyway...." he said "I wonder if he misses them or even knows where they are for that matter" he thought.
Gil shook his head "I know a few people who could deal with a gun in a sword fight, and swords generally have an edge against axes but thats a serious offence, that's not a tournament-approved weapon he's gonna be accused of murder most likely" he frowned turning back to the cute moogle.
Zadina nodded "So long as the elf is ok" he said skipping round the counter to say hi to the moogle girl "Hiya my name is Zadina! Can I help you with anything?" he said happily.
Mari giggled "Aww they wouldn't do that I'm sure" she said picking up Sophia "And you needn't worry about Sophia she's a lovely little Tonberry, Yusti and her get on quite well since she took her flying ain't that right Yusti?" she giggled.

Hebal shuddered but decided against telling Mari about one of her earliest memories involving someone she knew being thrown into a pit on tonberries. Instead she smiled at her friends giving the gria a small round of applause "Thats good! The mean viking needs to be punished for that dirty trick. But whay exactly do judges do apart from announce the winners and stuff?"

Felina shrugged reaching over to assist the clone with the food "If he knows then thats another thing he knows about that I don't. I think he does miss them a little, I mean what kind of kid wouldn't miss their parents from time to time when spending so long away from them. I bet Kurgan for a long time was the only family he had" she pondered looking back up at the screens.
Satoshi sighed not convinced by Gil's words "I am sure some people can withstand it but the average warrior isn't fast enough but thats getting away from the point... meh forget it" she muttered moving away to talk to the newest cutomer covered from head to toe in armor who had been impatiently tapping the table with her fist to get their attention.
The moogle smiled shyly at Zadina surprised by the attention she was receiving from the staff "Hiya Mr.Zadina. I'm just looking for a dress thats really silky kupo kupo." she greeted him grabbing the ends of as many dresses as she could feel.
The geomancer laughed telling Yusti what to say before going back to her browsing task. "She says I'm sure the tonberry is ok but I would rather it were Yusti to be first to take the wobbly bridge if you get what I mean" Yusti receited shrugging off the last comment. "The role of the judges is not only to declare the winner but to rule out cheats, make sure other rules are enforced and step in if we think it's too dangerous for someone to keep participating"

Oassu laughed as the clone gave Felina an offended look pulling the plate away before sawing viciously through the tough steak before Oassu eat the chewy piece "I guess, if your dad and his dad fell out does he even have a claim to royal priveliges?" he asked her.
Gil examined the newcomer's armour before sighing seeing how impatient she was "Hi there, how can we help you?" he asked Impatient girl, it's not like we're a proper store she shouldn't expect hand on foot service. he thought.
Zadina sidestepped away from the armoured woman thinking she was a little scary before standing up beside the moogle "Well would you like something for yourself or something?" he giggled as she said 'kupo' "You moogles are really cute you know?" he said patting her pom pom "Why do you say Kupo?" he asked.
Mari nodded "I guess that's fair but how do you know what we're I'll be sure to stick to the rules then don't you worry" she said happily "You guys already do so many nice things for us competitors anyway" she giggled.
