gaia_nitemareleft Hey Sam, in case you are interested I added the rhubarb mead recipe into the cooking thread in the subforums. *looks at the Noctorno in the corner* "I'm not sure what eighty proof is but I have some mead here, want to taste?" [ add cricet sound here] "No? Oh well, I'll drink it my self then... here in the other corner... while not disturbing you or stuff..." ninja *sips her pinkish mead and nibbles up some cookies* gaia_angelright

Noctorno - Takes a seat in the darkest corner - I would like a glass of eighty proof. *shuffles down the stairs from her second floor office... scrounges around a bit under the bar* Ah! Here it is! *grabs a sinister looking bottle - the liquid inside looks to be swirling a bit on it's own - and pours some in a glass.* Here's you go Noctoro. See what you think. It was found in storage after that incident when the Canteen traveled back in time. I'm not sure who put it there or exactly what it is really.. but it's strong stuff to be sure... *heads out to the sauna in the back*

selenia50150 I laugh an take another sip looking over the top of the glass at him.setting it down "Hmm, well then this should be very enjoyable ."Sitting the empty glass down watching him .I liked the way he handled himself.looking over at the person siting next to me now introducing them selves "Selenia, pleasure to meet you humble"Look back at the man behind the bar "Well,so you make drinks an you cook ...oh triple threat "I laugh softly"Hmmm...how about Steak Honduras?" "Oo, now that IS a challenge" Chuckling lightly, he took his bartending apron off, thankful to see Camwen helping with some of the other customers, and went into the back to set to work. He went into the freezer for the steak and set it tot defrost while he prepared the plantains, bell peppers, and tomatoes on the grill while adding some good seasoning to it. After a moment, he took the steak and cut it into long strips before seasoning and adding them to the grill to cook along with some tortillas to warm. Soon, the dish was complete and, adding some spinach fried rice and baked beans to the side, he came out with a steaming hot plate of Carne Asade del Honduras, serving them to the young lady with a smile. "Here we go! Disfruta de la comida. (Enjoy the Meal)"

I watched him leave from behind the bar to into the back which i could only Assume was the kitchen.While he was in there had the other bartender refill my glass while i waited .watching the scene around me change as more people came in or left .I smelt the food before it came out it made my mouth water .So he really could cook Anything I thought smiling .Watching him bring the food over my stomach let out a rumble an i laughed"Guess that means im starved" I laughed as he put down the food infront of me i took a bit an smiled it was great "Muchos Gracias Senor."I replied to him "Hmmm..So i guess you really can cook anything" I said between bites ."if you can cook like this why are you working here?"

I dont like to rush my cooking or my skills, I rather prefer a relaxed pace, and this place was the only one that offered me that luxury. Besides-" Smiling as he could tell she loved the food. "-the only tip I even need is a smile brought on by my drinks and meals. So long as I have that, I am more than satisfied with my job"

I watched him he was one really interesting man .I was half way plate i was more hungry then i guess i had realized .Hearing his answer i nodded with the fork in my mouth then smiled .finishing off what i had in my mouth then answered "Well,I guess you in the right place ."I grinned teasingly. "Well, you deserving alot more for this kinda food." I nodded then i got curious so i had to ask"you cook, you make drinks, you dance ."I arched a brow"Is there anything you can do ? " I took a fork full of beans an eat then siad between bites"I bet your Girlfriend, loves your cooking"

Settign the rag away, he smiled to the young lady as he sat down. "My job spans more than just this bar, though. I'm the ear many come to for an unbiased response, the sole confider of secrets that are often needed to get off one's chest, I even brighten the days of others in planning parties and running them here in the bar. I think most everyone else that I dont tend to have time for myself."

Upon her question about secrets, though, he nodded solemnly. "Oh, I tend to forget about some. Afterall, it's their secret, and the best way to not tell of one's secret is to not recall it again, but some depend on the one they tell knowing." Smiling as he refilled the young ladies drink, he shook his head "And no, I don't spill any beans. They confide in me because I don't spread any rumors."
