Katherine smiled alittle stood and went over to him herself. He was after all the only one other than the servants in the hall. Her soft fragile voice wasn't the happyiest that morning. "Good morn it is nice to see you back in Llyr."
Dialh was at this time slipping in the back. She was usually never gone all night but this night she had been upset. She wore a faded red cloak that coverd a very lovely gown of black and soft blue. Even her hair had been fixed the night before in a half up and down way. She left her cloak on as she hurried by the servants stairs up towards her own rooms before someone found her.

Lord dracien took another bite of the bread and cheese he was eating. He looked around the room and saw nobody was there. "I doubt that it is nice to see me. Few rulers like it when I appear unexpectedly." He said between mouthfuls. His eyes were dull and bored. "Have you checked out your new warships yet?" He asked conversationally.

"Not as of yet, I have been much to bussy here and there." She smiled it was the truth in a way she had all but forgot about her war ships she hadn't even had time to look at her figures in the trades though her clerks have more than assured her things are well up to par. "Why is it we don't like to see you unexpectedly? Unless you have brought me grave news." She said simpley. Like he had the annoying persance of owning a place or being much to over bearing Katherine could remind someone a thousand times in simple words or gestures that he in a way worked for her.
Dialh to made it to her room. She locked her door and threw off the cloak. She started on her hair looking into her small glass next. It was in shambles. She took out a decorated pin letting it fall down her back.

Lord Dracien laughed. "It could always be that I sometimes bring grave news. like this, Because of assiduous patrols, profits from Llyr are up 84%. The main reason that most of the nobles don't like me is that I always do appear unexpectedly." Lord dracien told Katherine. The lord was in the city for many reasons. He was checking on his men who lived here, and he checked on the boeats. A wedding was supposed to be going on. He didn't know if he missed that or not. He was also picking up a few mercanaries from the place too.

"That is well. I am always ready for the unexpected Lord Dracien." She spoke with a lovely smile. "So tell me what business has brought you to me?" She was wondering what she might could get out of him actually.
Dialh smothed out her hair and changed into a lovely green gown. She braided back her hair into a plain braid down her back she rubbed some water onto her face from keeping falling asleep then headed down to the kitchens.

The minor Tesla lord tipped his hat. It was the only peice of his clothing that looked remotely lordish. "I came to see this wedding of yours, actually. I heard that a high preistess is coming to bless you two. Can't help but wonder who the lucky guy is." The lord said with a smile on his face. The last deal he made with the queen hadn't been as bad as it had first appeared to be. Every one had gotten what they wanted.

Katherine gave a polite smile. "I am not sure if they are sending the high priestess since i asked for it to be small. In fact I have it planned that most will get there invitaions a few days late because of some roadway problem." She smiled to him. She seemed to not mind to tell him what she was implying. "As for the who, our next king will be Lord Matachi. My father granted him knighthood right before he died. He is a expectional warrior. He has brought a lot of vauled skills to Llyr." She spoke with a smile thinking slightly about Matachi.

Lord dracien returned the polite smile. "I am sure she is on her way. How do you think I found out? She left before I did, but I expected her to be here by now." The minor Tesla lord knew what she was implying. It was a standard tactic in the political world, and easily done. [color=red]"The 'soon to be' King Matachi is a lucky man. The ways to the throne, for a normal man like me or him, are rare and hard to find. He gets it by marrying you. I could get it a few ways, but my reign wouldn't last long. Too many nobles already see me as a threat." The lord swiched the water in his cup around. He never drunk any kind of alchohol, ever.

Paradox was in the kitchens directing men from the latest hunting teams. They technically didn't fall under his authority, but he was working them hard today.

Katherine smiled abit. "We have a good many rules for this type of thing actually so it wasn't easy. It has taken us a very long time to get as close to marrying as we finally are." That in itself was more of the truth. "I know your current King in Tesla very well in fact he and i at one point were supposed to marry." That was truth as well. That was before his two older brothers died and he had plotted to kill his father.
Dialh walked into the kitchens looking awfully tired she was supposed to be here when they had come in from hunting she must be late. "Lord Paradox forgive me i am late. I didn't know you yourself would be here." She then moved forward drawing a log book out and quill with the ink well. "So has the huntress blessed us this week?"

"The king, you say? To tell you the truth. I while ago, I was going to assassinate the king, and instate myself. I have enough peasant support, and a big enough army to ensure dominance. Sadly, few of the nobles would support me. The last thing tesla needs is civil war, so I abandoned my plans." Dracien told Katherine solemnly. It didn't seem like something somebody would divulge. That was not the reason the lord had said it, though.
Paradox gave a slight bow to Lady Dialh. "Everyone reaches their destination when the stars ordain. I won't forgive you for somethin you had little control over." Paradox said in a concentrated voice. The hunting team had found a huge amount of game, and they had to quit early just to carry it all back in time. The general didn't ussually supervise this.

"Tesla's royal family has seen much to hardship lately." It was the truth two older sons and the father. All one right after the other. "Plus as you know to me royal families and the bloodlines are very important to me since I myself am a part of one." It was hard to keep a throne. Everyone wanted one it seemed.
Dialh noded some. "Thank you Lord Paradox." Opening the book she found the place in the page she needed. "What our the figures?" She spoke looking to the book and not him at the moment.

The minor lord nodded. He knew that as well as she did. it wasn't the king's fault that Dracien didn't head the call to war. Dracien had his own ideas and he never let anybody ever stop him. "Your a smart woman. Beautiful. Very intelligent. A presence by yourself. I don't know where all the rumors are coming from of you being a monster. It would truly be a shame if you had to die." Dracien hinted at the bare beginnings of some sort of threat, but didn't seem to really beleive in it.
Paradox spent a second remembering the figures. "87 prime deer. All in a single hunt. All in the same place." Paradox said it as if reciting a poem.

Katherine smiled at his small threat she wasn't in the least worried about him or what he might think he could do to Llyr. "Monster.. seems i have herd a lot of that word lately. About me as well as others. In my opinion we all do what we have to for who we are." Her voice had been very sober at frist but it ended on a higher note. "As for my death it would take a very strong man to lay a hand on me in any lifetime." The last part was a private joke more to herself that he wouldn't understand. Only a handful ever would but he got the meaning of her words that he was less than nothing for her to worry over.
Dialh noded some recording the sum. "Tomarrow they will go for hares." She looked up put the quill down and started to rub a small bit of sand over what she wrote. She then blew it away shutting the book and putting it back in its place. She looked awful like she hadn't slept at all when she turned around.

Nikura Khan and Aenu were dressed down for today they were hitting the streets of Llyr for supplies. Unlike the rest of their troops who remained in suit Nikura wore her assassin uniform of those who opposed the kings assassins of old. So long ago that hardly anyone would remember the battle let along the uniforms of either side. Khan wore his business clothes that werent armour and Khan dressed all regal. The happy family were shopping for food and water mainly as it was only time before they'd run out. Nikura held khan in her arms while she walked alongside Aenu his arm around her shoulder.
