i'm enjoying the story, the game is great, also, just an FYI metalstar, you can't shift items...which sucks

Catching them seems a bit easier though, they barely ever come out the ball.

Essentially, it is a rare chance to instantly capture the Pokemon. I've noticed it happens more often when the wild Pokemon are close to or at 1 HP. At any rate, your Pokeball will make a metallic sound when thrown, wiggle once, and then catch the Pokemon. I've only had it happen about three times.
You'll get lots of Critical Captures with Dream Balls I hear.

Dream Balls are meant for Entralink to capture Pokemon you met in the Dream World.
Which is accessible by Global Link, which won't be available until the end of March.

Also I was given the option to get a Masterball, if I traded 50 times or more.
Basically forcing us to trade. xd
