I like Rumble Falls and Mushroomy Kingdom. There really aren't stages that I dislike on Brawl.

I like all stages except FD and Battlefield because they're boring.

My favorites are Shadow Moses Island, Delfino Plaza, and Mario Circuit.

If i have to pick faves they would be Pictochat(when i'm not playing as a Mother rep), Delfino Cruise, Luigi's Mansion, Norfair, New Pork City, Green Hill Zone, and Shadow Moses Island.

I like Pictochat, Spear Pillar, Halberd, Pirate Ship, and Wario Ware. I don't know why but I hate Rumble Falls and Onett. And Mario Circuit could be better.

my favorite since melee has been the temple... don't really play there much b/c the person i online brawl with only like to brawl on final destination stare I like bridge of Eldin ... but thats only because of the bomb... and I also like delfino cruise and mushroomy kingdom... I hate hanenbow

If you look at the brawl stages it's a pattern...except the last row needs one more so i'm thinking there were 42 stages as there were 36 characters but the character and stage that went with it were pulled for unknown reasons, and if you know me you'll know who i think was said character.

I only hate playing on Pictochat when i'm Ness or occasionally when i'm Lucas and i get knocked downward off the screen and i can't get back on the stage as it's impossible to guide the PK Thunder into yourself when you can't see it.

its so hard to pick favorite stages. i like all the ones with intresting twists.
i guess my list would be like,
Wario ware (come on, its the most random stage, you could have no items and still get powerups)
spear pillar (especially with the palia and dialga battle music)
i can't really pick a third.. but picto chat, flat zone 2, big blue, and mario kart are probably my thirds.
