Not the butt. The lower back. If humans had wings thats where they would have to come from. The center gravity is there.

Kazu Faiya Not the butt. The lower back. If humans had wings thats where they would have to come from. The center gravity is there. that just doesnt' seem right.... wouldn't that make you bend ever time you flew? your lower back may be the center of gravity but it's also where you bend... what about mid back

Anatomically speaking, it's actually the three fused bones that make up the hips/pelvis that is the keystone of the body. Without it, we'd fall apart. Many Eastern cultures believe that the soul resides just below the navel and within the body, which is the center of balance. That's why you cover your tummy when there's a thunderstorm - so the kami can't steal your soul or possess you!!
We got Direct TV and internet hooked up at the new house finally! blaugh

Question: If a tree falls in a hotel parking lot and blocks the street, does anyone care so long as it doesn't land on them?
It's so weird cause we had some rain over the weekend, and a light sprinkle this evening and a touch of wind, and before you know it, a 20-foot tree decides he's going to crash down and block traffic in the business park where the hotel I work at is located. Don't these things usually happen in strong winds and storms? stare It made a weird sound, and I didn't know what had happened until a guest came by and commented cause it blocked his way out of the parking lot. It's gotta be a Monday...
