Nikura stood up and nodded in greeting, "We are here under request of our Lord. When he is told it is over, it is then we are to leave, until then we will remain here, for the safety of the queen." she said proffessionally. "What business is it of yours?" Ruben asked curiously, as he was officially her superior, but everyone knew they were equal.

the general nodded to what she said. It was entirely acceptable for Flowing Rivers to send a few soldiers to help, but not acceptable without any communication. "The entire city's defense is my buisness. Since I heard that your lord died it would be much more advisable for you to take a much more active part in her protection, no? Who knows what problems she might have?" Paradox said, referring to Queen Katherine. He turned around and surveyed over the me that had been brought here.

"Indeed" Ruben nodded, he was just as clueless to Sekains new life as were the rest of the troops, "It's what Lord Sekain would've wanted. Although they got off to a rocky start, himself and Katherine are still family" she said maternally. "Seeing as we'll be working with you I'd better introduce you to all. This is general Ruben, comander of the whole army. This is captain Jonas, head of our archers, over there is Captain Aenu, the head of our cavailry."

A familiar lord entered through the city gates. The normally ruby red vest was ruffled and torn. In fact, everything about the lord seemed as if he had just been through a tavern brawl. Cufflinks broken, buttons missing, hair in a knot of a mess. Despite his unruly appaearence Lord Dracien held himself as every noble aspired to do. This man was no tavern brawler. A back that was straight, a step that was solid, a step that you could drum to. A simple air of confidence surrounded the minor lord of Tesla and every single person felt his presence. He had just had a rouh day, and had finally made it here in time for the wedding hopefully. The bandits had only been a minor detour off of the beaten path. Maybe it was a sign that he shouldn't travel in his favorite clothes.

The general inclined his head as each was formally introduced. Paradox wasn't one for formalities, but the customs had to be observed. "It is a pleasure to meet you. As long as you don't cause any trouble, you will be welcome here. If you have the time, mercenaries have been giving us a lot of trouble lately. It would be helpful if you kept tab on them from time to time." Paradox nodded his head again. He turned around and made his way to leave to see matachi.
(Is matachi still waiting? or did Canada leave?

Ruben nodded "Nikura this is your field" she nodded "you have caontacts" she turned and walked over to Aenu and Khan to talk to them about sending a message to fellow assassins. "Nikura can have the mercenaries snuffed out within weeks should you wish it." Ruben said tow Paradox as Jonas scoffed and nodded. "she can accomplish almost anything." he mumbled to himself.
( I think he left and I'm afraid I'm gunna have to go after a post or two. ill continue tomorrow =] )

(No problem. Everybody has to leave sometime.)
The seven foot high General stopped. He didn't look back, but he did speak. "It would be better not to kill them. They're just looking for work. There has been many rumors about turmoil here, and they are the best indication that something big is about to happen." He said it to them all. The mercanaries were only ariving here becaue they were expecting a need for them soon. They seemed to have a sixth sense when it came to those kinds of things.

Katherine woke the next morning she dressed in a flowing dress of soft pink then went to check her children. After that she headed to the main hall for usual work where she also had her breakfast

Lord Dracien was back in the main hall, eating breakfast there. He was wearing a simple cotton shirt and simple brown leather pants. His clothes were being mended from the beating they got. He waved to Katherine casually, like he owned the place.
