So... I was re-reading the Day of Vengeance Special, and I noticed Freedom Beast's appearance. I understand he's from Morrison's Animal Man.

It's a great little show. Very imaginative character designs and fluid animation but at the end of the day it's just an extended puberty metaphor. I don't really understand at all how people label it as being "random." It's very rigid in terms of symbolism and all that.
