A perfect night to bring a partner of the opposite sex to a wonderful stargazing spot!” >partner of the opposite sex >the opposite sex >THE OPPOSITE SEX > THE OPPOSITE SEXHRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH GAY HULK SMASH PUNY FARMING GAME Right? You'd think they would have the option by now, but noooo. Apparently in some older games it used to be an option, but was removed just for America's delicate sensibilities. Installments since then are just flat-out straight-people-only for everyone. Man, ******** the majority being insensitive to my sometimes selfish desires! I'll get through this game without dating anyone! You'll see! You'll all see! Aaaaahahahaha! Aw, what the ********. That's worse than just not having the option in every game. Dammit, America. You go, gay hermit. YOU CAN DO IT. If I recall correctly, staying single in a Harvest Moon game forces the game to end much earlier. The ********? That doesn't make any kind of sense at all.

Installments since then are just flat-out straight-people-only for everyone. Man, ******** the majority being insensitive to my sometimes selfish desires! Befriending them gets me good stuff, like upgrades for tools from the blacksmith. So I end up having to put a lot of effort into throwing s**t at people so they throw s**t back so I can get money so I can throw s**t at people so they... Yeah. This'll get tiring in another week or so.

Which one're you playing? The newest, for the 3DS. "A New Beginning," it's called. Mostly because I couldn't get my hands on any Rune Factory games. Yeah, the 3DS one is my least favorite Harvest Moon game. Still trying to get back into it but it just starts out so damn slow! It looks like there's no early end for being single in this one, though. I think that might only be in A Wonderful Life. I've never heard of that being a thing though... I always end up courting people when I play.
