I'll admit I have grown a fondness for FlapJack. Though the humour in these still isn't quite the same as it was back then.

Flash is actually a very powerful tool that is used for evil unfortunately. that doesn't meant it's not necessarily hand drawn, you still have to draw all those symbols at some point, that is if you use symbols. Flap jack uses a good combination of the two, often using experimental animation (shown in the episode How the West is Fun)
Unfortunately shows like the Squidbillies have scampered the name of flash, but you'll really notice the reason why shows suck so bad now is because the regulation that studios like Nickelodeon give producers to abide by. That's why the maker of Zim left, he was pee'd off at the retarded rules.

gotta fit it into the budget... squidbillies has no budget..
they made a cartoon of redneck squids... the easiest thing to draw combined with the easiest thing to write... budget of $10 a week..... met.....

Reiven De bergerac they make you follow rules when you use flash? I'd imagine one of the rules would exclude most types of flash tweening - because then it would look like a web-advert instead of a TV show.

n...no. they don't have rules with the process of flash animation. they have rules with show regulations
Nickelodeon: every show must be in the view of a CHILD. thus is why Iron man is a teen child all of a sudden. no falling out windows without quick follow up footage showing the child is good and fine, thus Zim's falling up the window children. Nickelodeon is much more strict then Cartoon Network is. each studio is picky though. Personally I'm making a boycott of Nickelodeon, as they promote their sweatshops. No animation is done in America and well... I'm not going to get all into it.
flash tweening is used with love, those who know flash just know how to hide it really well.

tweening is where flash automatically takes keyframes of a symbol (keyframes=Main poses/ symbols= a hand or whatever, think seperate parts of the body) and animates it for you. quite handy if done well

Actually the official guidebook to the internet states that...
"The supreme being formed from being both a ninja and a pirate shall henceforth be known as: A Jedi or Sith."
