Fiddlers Green With the price of meat what it is when you get it if you get it... ninja This song is on my baking playlist. I'm not sure exactly why, and now that I think about it, it's a bit disturbing. o.O

I don't like telemarketers.
Especially the ones trying to sell you a newspaper subscription to a paper that has proven rather useless before in the past.
Basically, when we were subscribed before, they didn't deliver for three weeks before we canceled and switched.

i don't like that people can publish lies for the sake of making a buck.
it makes is harder for those of us who are simply trying to learn the truth because we have to wade through the bullcrap.
however i think in the end, it is all worth it. just an inconvenience that i think should not exist.

Can someone tell me how it is that someone who is going to college for astrophysics isn't able to understand that we don't travel at thirty times the speed of light?

It's not that we travel at the speed of light, it's that after you start going faster than the speed of light, the laws of physics start to break down. It's theoretical physics, because it's impossible to go faster than the speed of light. It's like how you'll take forever to actually fall into a black hole because the closer you get the more time slows down, even though no one has actually been near one.

Fiddlers Green Recursive Paradox ... The guy I'm dealing with in the witchcraft thread just claimed that he's been doing Reiki since he was 4 years old. x_O Impressive. Then again, I could claim to have participated in feng shui at the age of two, when I ate the first geomantically incorrectly placed plant in my house. I tend to consider that an accident, or act of intuition, rather than any real performance of geomancy. Can one engage in inadvertent Reiki? He claims that his mother noticed unusual abilities in him, contacted a friend who did "Reiki" and she "attuned" him. And then he practiced "Reiki" from age 4 to 8. ...x_O Ow. TeaDidikai The four year old would have had to be attuned, learned Hebrew, Japanese, English, and Hindi, traveled the world, fasted for over a month, read shitloads of information, then gone to Hawaii and practiced attuning others only to create a method that included the information gleaned from his travels in the same way Usui did. I finger-painted and napped at that age...

Recursive Paradox I finger-painted and napped at that age... I was busy playing with tarot cards, a set of Blume's runes and a large crystal ball. I love my Nana. But I wasn't a Reiki Master. blaugh

Spent most of my time either with my Nana, or being that weird quiet kid who reads a lot. blaugh

There had better be a good reason of how and why climate change has anything to deal Morality and Religion, otherwise I am going to dissect the hell out of any ignorant person who posts in that thread.
