Wow, you're pretty knowledgable about music type stuff.

[/impressed]

Can't take all the credit. xp Got some of the info from Wiki, and a buncha skacore info from Stream, and some info from what I've discovered and interpreted from listening to the music. But yeah, music's one of my favourite subjects.

That is really awesome, and I also love Wikipedia (my friend in high school reports)!. Although I have never heard of the bands..but I live under rock... and maybe 3-4 years ago started peeking my head out to breath fresh air..

Are they really popular bands in ska? Japanese ska also sounds cool.. though I am unsure of the sounds... Did the Bosstones do "The Impression that I get?" Is that ska?

Yeah, ska bands are really freakin' awesome, any form of ska is just pure win. Some of the bands I mentioned might not be as popular to the skacore community, MU330, Skakin' Pickle, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Pot Shot, Mustard Plug. Those are a lot of third-wave ska bands I rarely see mentioned.

Japanese ska gets one of my highest recommendations, to start off, I'd suggest Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, seeing as how they really invented their own form of ska. For more of a third/second-wave ska taste, Pot Shot and Rude Bones.

And yeah, Mighty Mighty Bosstones did preform, The Impression That I Get, definately a great ska song and one of my favourites.

Then there's Korean ska, like the Witches.

All in all, I really like the attention to technique that asian ska shows. Its a nice contrast from the slightly more energy-focused American ska...

That does make sense.. I was wondering about this song, "There She Is" by the Witches (I think). It is a very different sound.. and it makes sense now why I couldn't understand them.. they're singing Korean?

What did the customer do? I remember some of working K-Mart, and now at my current job in the parking booth, and basically, I found it coming down to that many customers are lazy, do not like to read, and have high expecations (Kmart: that where ever products are placed, that is how much they are.. doesn't matter if anyone else moved them there or were lazy on accident and placed them back in the wrong spot.. so that was us cashiers' fault always).. did they blame you for stuff not your fault, too?

Don't ever work at a movie store... trust me.

What's wrong at movie stores? I've actually wanted to work with a bunch of nerds for many years, who will talk movies with me and I can make suggestions based on my knowledge of human character..

Customers are twice as dumb when it comes to renting entertainment as they are when they're buying food...

and hungry people are ******** morons...

Does the revolver come with the bushy villian mustache? biggrin

That! AND! Complimentary moose and squirrel.
Oh, Rocky and Bullwinkle! So many things I never understood... xd sweatdrop

I still don't understand that much, I need to go back and rewatch it. sweatdrop

I have this really hot (as in could easily be a model) coworker who has a Russian accent... I've already admitted to her that quite often when she says something, I subconsciously add "Moose and Squirrel" somewhere in it.

Also, everytime she says something about it being cold (which is fairly often since she's kinda skinny) I tack on "It is always cold in Siberia"...

Fortunately she finds all this funny as hell.
They actually had that in a recent issue of Spiderman. I think one of my friends has the pics somewhere on his computer. A Russian unimportant villain fights Spidey, who spends the first half of the fight trying to get him to say Moose and Squirrel.

Then, later when Iron Man encounters that same enemy on his own, he also tried to get him to say it. XD

I'll just have to see if I can find the pictures somewhere.

They are still making Spiderman comics? Are they as good as the movies or better?

It's so surreal right now.. gruhfs;dlfkjsdlf. I'd talk more, but I'm runnign on three hours of sleep.. I didn't realy want to sleep before graduation, and my friend and I went for a walk at 5:30 this morning.. ^^''

Congratulations! Do you feel any different being out of school yet, or will it be awhile for it to sink in that you don't have to go back, and it's longer than a vacation? Any plans for further schooling, taking a break, or work?

Ouch.. that's warm... sounds like おきなわ。My professor is from Okinawa originally.. this was his warning if I ever studied there.. people say you sweat and sweat in weather like that.. I am used to 50-60 weather being from Minnesota..

Yeah, it can get pretty hot in California. gonk You should feel the inside of a car, when I get a ride home from school with my friend, I go into his car and I literally begin to sweat when I get inside.

Roll your windows down when you go to class!

No, 'cause then the car gets stolen. xd
Especially in the LA area. xd

Hell, in the LA area you don't even need to roll your windows down, you're car could be encased in three feet of steel and concrete and it could still be stolen. xd

Why do cities like LA get the reputation for being high crime? Is a big city life with little room a negative influence any many people? What is it about the big touch city ethos, or is it more like self-fulfilling prophesy, where if one is told something enough times and there are not many other depictions, the individual becomes what people say they are?

What does this "hazing" entail?

Savage beatings, having your psyche laid bare, eaten alive and whole by an evil beast set on world domination... maybe even a moose touching.

And that's just to get you used to the usual insanity around here...
I'm not touching his moose after all that moose and squirrel talk. At least not until I perfect my cheesy russian accent. stare

I should have known you'd be a stickler for foreplay. stare
I'm just self-concious. I'm afraid I'm just not as good as everyone else... so I need practice. Wanna help? *wiggles fingers* mrgreen

Conversations like these make me realize just how awesome the anti-guild is and how glad I am that there are people who can cheer up the world! Everyone should be a member of the anti-guild.. smile

Everyone is rich except meee.. gonk

I am not rich in Gaia or real world money.. especially after paying for Japan I will be in debt.. but I'm sure richness is a good perception of making one feel better about the self, but only temporarily if one cannot share riches with someone to bring happiness, and/or if it's a lie it reflects one's insecurities (calling one's self rich when one isn't, and/or using money to buy love and not having it be genuine).. so richness may not be the best path..

Now I am very curious... what happened to create this reaction to food and renting entertainment? Is it the void like people doing drugs that is appealing to people, or losing mental function leaving only instinct, which we call unintelligence, because it makes one basically animal instead of what we like to call "human" intelligence and superiority?

Has anyone heard of the band, Zero 1, featuring Hal Sparks from the TV series, "Queer as Folk?" Do you know if they are any good? I've only heard about 10-15 seconds worth of songs from them?
