Well, there is central air, I believe...but there's a downstairs unit (which is on) and the upstairs one smells. They turned it on in the winter and the smell was too much x.x Summer nights are generally cool here, but I don't know what kind of weather this is. Death weather. crying

Take an easier step both on your time and computer.... get Neverwinter Nights. Famous D is bringing his server up sometime soon and really wants to have an AG presence on it. Neverwinter Nights? Learn it, live it, love it. Not only does it come with built in modules, but Bioware made it easy to make your own modules and supports its community. After you're done with the stuff included you can go to their pages to download player-made content (1000s of modules) and even play online on player-run servers.

Robert Drake Streamjumper Reccomendation: Utawaremono. One of the better fantasy anime to come out lately... and as of episode 7 there is nothing you could really call magic. As a matter of fact, other than some cinematic fighting, spirit tiger, and the fact that most of the characters have (subtly added) animal ears, tails, or wings, this could even be called realistic fantasy. I suspect that as of next episode more magic might seep in, but I trust it will be dealt with well. Hmmm...I like fantasy setting stuff, even with magic in it. I'll have to look into it. Do so. Its excellent. I'm partial to the Static subs of it, since they're doing the same color-coded subs as they did with Mai Hime... but I hear excellent things about the Yesy subs that I think TE is getting.

But they used the wrong particle, I think it would be Gaara no kawaii desu...at least my friend was explaining to me that most of the time when talking about someone else you use the 'no' particle. For example: Anato no shumi wa nan desu ka? Means, what do you like to do? Or, what is your hobby? Anyways, enough of my elementary japanese. I'm still learning from my friend. Once I get to santa cruz I'll be studying it more thoroughly, especially since my minor is going to be east asian relations. ^_^ Your note on さまwas most helpful! I didn't know you could say せんせいさま （sensee-sama)。So you use it with high high authority then? Would you call the policeguy or gal -sama, too? Or the prime minister? If you ever want to practice, let me know! I am working on getting caught up with what I should have learned last semester, but got behind.. That's also super awesome you're going into East Asian relations! My double major with Mass Communications is East Asian Studies, but I had to create and present a plan to my University Committee.. they're going to start minors probably because of so many petitions.. but I'm excited! There really are people besides me interested in East Asian stuff (besides just anime)! Let me know if you want to chat about stuff. I've had an East Asian survey course on early China, modern China, and a class on gender in East Asia, so this is more of what I know and/or can help you with if you ever need help. biggrin You mean Sensei in Romaji? Like, teacher? Yes, you could use it in that context as well, but most of the time it's just -sensei. Sama would be used when addressing either in the third person or in conversation, a high level businessman or someone who holds high authority...I'm not sure about policemen, but for example, a high executive in a company would probably be referred to as a -sama if someone was talking about him. I might have to do a lot of moving around of classes, etc, in order to do my east asian relations minor, since I'm going in as a junior and it is typically required that certain classes be completed by then. We will see what happens. Regardless, I will be taking Japanese when I get there. ^_^
