He let out a sigh as he looked up to her, casting his eyes to the side, not able to look her in the eyes, "I've been lying for so long, Cora. It's been tearing me to pieces. I tried to tell Diamond the truth, but things got mixed up. Please don't hate me too, Cora. I can't have two people that love me, who I am or who I used to be. I don't know her, but Jordan did. He thought of her as a friend. Diamond had a crush on him, and with his absense it did not fade, grew maybe. I can only hope my absense hasn't dimished you, Cora my love."

He chuckled slightly, in a maniacal sort of way, "I thought as much. I didn't expect my cryptic ramblings to make much sense." He got up, stumbling a bit as his balance was thrown, but eventually standing up straight. He still couldn't look her directly in the eyes, "I never meant to lie for so long, my dear. I...I thought you were dead. I was sure I knew it for truth. When I saw you again...I was dumbstruck. You thought I was a new patron of the Brink, and Iwas either too confused or untrusting that it was really you. Cora, my love, don't hate me. I beg it of you. I had hoped by giving you my badge and my speech it might be easier, but it isn't. I'm just not the same man that carried that badge. I've changed too much. One constant was my love. It never failed, even in the midst of all else being taken."

:::badge...what in the world was a badge?? Jordan hadn't given anything of his to h- He'd given her something of Tac's though... she'd wondered how he'd gotten ahold of it. She didn't believe that it was all by chance or mistake... and how had he known so much about Tacitus, she wondered... why was he calling her his love? What...:::

:::The mere confusion of the situation was becoming unbearable. She'd been so out of sorts for so long now, she was finally brought to tears:::

Janani doesn't understand a single thing, and the dumbfounded, flushed look on her face perfectly expresses that, if any were to see her. However, Tacitus just told Cora his real name...and said something about looking different... Did he have a different appearance?

He moved forward to take her into an embrace, "Don't cry, my love. I can't stand it when you cry. I can't explain to you exactly how my physical form has altered so severely, its not something that even I understand fully. I am the one, and the only Tacitus Nusradai. Don't hate me for lying. All I ask is that you stop crying, my love."

:::But she couldn't stop crying...she couldn't even decide if she beleived any of this. She felt so lost, and so... she didn't know what it was. It just felt like someone had done something horrible to her, like punched her, or kicked her, but nothing physical was happening. It felt worse, if at all possible. She felt like she didn't have an ounce of tollerance for it either:::

:::All she really know was that she felt like holding on to someone, like being told that everything was alright, that everyone would make sense if she just could hold on a little longer. But who could do that now? She wanted to stop crying. She wanted to start asking questions, but nothing came out except more tears, and more faint cries:::

These humans and their emotions... How is anybody supposed to make sense of it? Flustered, Janani seats herself; though, she still easily stands out if any were to walk by.
