Minasia cracked a grin, almost laughing at Sora. It's true.. Sometimes, MOST of the time, his idiocies tended to wound up pretty... Gravely, in fact. Like that tunnel thing, or when they emmerged in Ellesmera.
Never a good story, Sora has, when it implies rash thinking and selfless acting.

"Tired I am, as well, Terra..." The Queen(I'll never get used to this...) said, streching her arms in front of her. How long had it been since they had last slept...?

"Yeah... Well, we should at least find somwhere proper to-"
'Would the dragon's host be to scared to pass a night in the forest?' a rumbling voice said, making Minae giggle; of course she knew who it was.

"Ingothold, this is none of your buisness, you silly dragon." Minasia said aloud, not finding the use of simply thinking her words. "You don't even NEEd to sleep anymore!"
'And sometimes, sleep and dreams are luxuries I don't dwell upon...'

"Could we just PLEASE all shut our mouths and SLEEP?"

"So glad you agree, May."

"Well, in that regard I have one or two choices for you. There is a grove, a little way off from here where we will be safe, and sleep peacefully. Or, there is a clearing over that way. A little more room, closer, but less comfort and still open to attack. The third choice, we push ahead to Ellesmera." She paused. "There is also a waterfall and stream in that direction, with several concealed caves and tunnels hidden behind it, and about half the protection that the grove offers."

((I have to go...sleep...))

Sora looked at Sarea, managing to get the red hidden from his face. "I say we head on to Ellesmera. They'll have some civilized food there, and we'll finally be able to find out about Alagaesia's status when we wake up," he said. He remembered Kalco's future, and no matter what the others said about him being foolish, he could never be sure about the consequences that came with messing with time. Years or Seconds might have been spent. They might have taken them all for dead, by now. Guess the only good thing to do was to check.

May shrugged. Of ALL The times they could, HAD to go on, it had to be NOW, when they were most tired and vulnerable...
Sure, magick helps a lot when you're in a fight against many, but it won't last ong before you accidentally go too far and kill yourself...

"OI! Fine, but if one of us dies, I am SO rubbing it in all of your faces afterwards..." May glareed at all of them, before walking ahead in some random direction.

Minasia chuckled, and stared at the frustrated may. Vulnerable, yes, but powerful together all the same. No one could possibly be able to resist the power of them all combined...

"Yes, well, in any case, May, Ellesmera's THAT way-" she pointed in the other direction"-unless you're planning to go back the way we came..."

((Sorry for the lack of posting; babysitting and homework's cutting on my internet time.. ^^'

Sarea smiled. "Ellesmera it is then. We'd better hurry though. Come on!"

She led the way though the trees, running ahead of the others, until she seemed to dissapear entirely, and only the sound of her voice echoed through. "Hurry up! No time to lose! Are you Wardens or not?" And then it faded altogether. She was gone.

---

Admist a world of golden red, sparks of green showed, faintly. Another presence, in this realm was scented, and welcomed with open arms.

Sarea sighed. I still don't know why- yes, okay..fine.
There was, after all, no point arguing Fate. You rarely get what you want. What you need, yes.

You know why. There comes a point in history, where none may interfere, where the path set out is to be walked by mortal alone, including the fair folk. You know it. We have witnessed such a time often enough.

Sarea replied instantly, May's still down there. What about Saurulia? Does this mean she will...

A silent sigh, visible by the impact it made on the swirling colours.. There is a time and a place for everything. She will have hers. In Time, everything must come, and go according to what has been written for them.

((It fit, okay? I would be around until October..at which point I'll try and pick my way back in. Shouldn't be too hard. And I might get some time on the net between them, depending.))

((Are you sure, Minae? Well, I'll post for good measure...))

Sora looked as Sarea disappeared into the forest. "Wait up!" he called out, running after her, trying to avoid the branches that got in his way. He ducked and jumped to clear branches and logs, continuing this pattern in near happiness. He was home. This was his territory. He could remember walking through here as a child. They were closer to Ellesmera by the second. Already, there were treehouses visible to the practiced eye of an elf. He finally exited into a large clearing covered with the overbearing branches of nearby trees. He slowed down to a stop, looking around for Sarea. He knew the way, but even if she had a head start, she couldn't be that far off. He looked up at the tree-ceiling which added to the cavernous feeling in the clearing, and saw flecks of the sky above. The dark purple of sunset was giving way to the black of night. Some stars were already visible. He walked through the clearing, and about to enter the continuation of the path, when he stumbled. After an awkward process of getting up, he looked at what he tripped upon, and all the color drained from his face. An Urgal's Sword. He looked ahead of him, seeing the rustle of the bushes from either clumsy animals or Urgals, and shivered. He quickly opened his link with Terra and Kalios. We got Urgals.

Kalios looked at Terra, his face pale, and then after a quick nod from the Dragoness, spoke to May and Minasia, and started to walk to the path that Sora and Sarea disappeared through. "Sora's found some Urgals, apparently. Let's go," he said, and disappeared into the dark tunnel of a path, the Dragoness behind him.

Minasia's ears seemed to perk up unexpectedly high and almost appeared to widen at the mention of the word URGALS and the name SORA. At that precise moment, either her heart was beating so fast it was inpercievable, or it had compeletely stopped, only to start ramming against her chest in a frenzied attempt to snap its owner out of her little nightmare.

Immediately, May turned towards the forest, to where Sora had run off to, and vaguely took notice that Minae had rushed off at an amazing speed... And it took her a while to realise that SHE had to go as well...
But took her time to go back, rather violently pull Kalios forwards, and then run as fast as she could, her heart beating slowly, pulsating throughout her body.

She was abnormally calm when it came to drastic and death-implying siutations.

Sora grabbed his green sword, readying it for battle. With numerous thoughts flowing through his blood-pounding head, he found his legs pushing him forward, his eyes on the bushes ahead of him. The bushes that were hiding blood thirsty Urgals in Du Weldenvarden. How did they get here? he thought to himself. I couldn't have been mistaken. That was a genuine Urgal's sword. The only ones in all of the forest are held locked up in Du Weldenvarden, he thought to himself, and stopped moving. He lifted his sword hand, pointing at the bushes. "Brisingr," he whispered, as green flame spurted from the sword, burning the bushes down in seconds. His mouth fell open.

In front of him, there were 4 Urgals. He was expecting one of them at the most. But more importantly, a Shade stood behind the four Urgals, hair black as a raven, face covered in demonic symbols and marks. In fact, it was amazing a simple bush could cover the entire party of Urgals and Shade. He saw the Shade whisper, and the Urgals ran towards Sora like animals. Before lifting his sword again, he sent a mind-call for everyone behind him. Four Urgals. One Shade. I'm gonna need that backup soon! He promptly swung his sword at the first Urgal, trying to avoid the hits from the other's swords.

Kalios and Terra continued running through the forst, Kalios part-pulled by May, and exited into the clearing. Terra lunged through the clearing, aiming for the closest Urgal, and tanked it with green fireballs. Kalios slipped his blade out, and snuck up on them silently, engaging battle with the first hit. He soon had a shocked Urgal attacking him, and kept the Urgal at bay with Magic and the occasional sword-jab.

Minae's heart pounded vilently within her chest, creating a rather enticing beat in her head, driving her forwards. She didn't know why, but this all made her blood boil in exitement. The mere thgouht of trying to battle a shade made everything so...

Exciting.

And so she leapt over stray logs, braches and potentially poisonous plants, and bent forwards when she spotted low twigs sprouting from trees, or birds fluttering past in a low hum as their wings beated rapidly.

As her right hand slowly made it to her sword on her left, Minae's vision became somewhat contorted, before returning to normal... And even better. The advantages of being one of the Wardens, she thought; a greater sight when put under pressure.

But PRESSURE wasn't even enough to describe what was upon the elf when she SAW the shade. Though she had a burning desire to kill, bloodlust, actually, the sigh of the half-dead man made her shiver and slow down drastically.

"I don't know why you're here... No I DO know why; you're here to kill us. I know you are... And since you have no intentions on going back on this decision... We'll be forced to tear you to shreads." she whispered, her voice almost grave, deep, maybe misty, even, and the thought of this monster, mistake of nature, lying in his own blood, surrounded by the creatures he was sent to die with.

The Shade looked over at the elven woman, as the other two were battling the Urgals. "I'm not here to kill you. Not yet, at least," he whispered, his voice soft as a whisper, yet loud enough for everyone to hear. He turned his back to Minasia, and held his arm out. "Ouvrent la porte hasta Helgrind," he spoke in Ancient, and as the Portal opened in front of him, a reluctant force of the Earth, black and red with power, the plants browned, animals gave great cries of pain, of death, and the Urgals collapsed in death. The Shade looked over his shoulder to the elves. "I'll come back. Don't worry," he snickered, and walked into the Portal, allowing it to carry him to Helgrind.

((I'm going to take a new character. I'll post as she comes to mind. The Powers and Wardens will join back in when it feels right. But for now..I'm not doing a profile okay? I don't even know her details at the moment..it will be what comes out once more..))

She stood in the centre of all that was and all that had been. Around her was a circle of death..this was where the Shade had stood, and this was where the portal had opened. And this, was where she stood now, staring, glaring at them. Sora..and Minasia.. Her bow was strung, but she did not need it. Her sword..well, that was another case. it was stuck hilt deep through the head of an urgal and a tree..She really hadn't meant to get the tree..

'State your name and buisness in the name of the King or die where you stand." she said, her eyes blazing red, almost the colour of the Shade's...Her voice..was a deathly whisper carrying across on a stillborn wind. Her open palms faced them, and one could be sure..from the way she held herself. Yes. She was a very competent user of magick.

A circlet rested on her head, for what purpose is and was unknown. It was pure green like a leaf in spring, and coiled like a snake just once. Some remarked on how it matched her hair. And that it did. Her hair..now that was a strange spectacle. Blue. Bright blue - some said saphire, for it did shine so - with a sing green strike through it, on her right side. Her nails were blood red showing signs of hidden gold.

She was neither human nor elf, dwarf nor urgal. She was..unique. In a way only a few people in Alagaesia knew. And one point, was always her history.

Sora eyed the newcomer strangely, examining her meticulously. He squinted his eyes to make sure that he was looking at her real hair, not a hat of some sort. He put his sword back in its scabbard, resting it at his hip.

"My name is Sorani Kontokori," he said. "A Dragon Rider for Queen Islanzadi of the Elves," he continued. "This is Terrana, my dragon, and there's Kalios Senktimeris, my companion" he finished, and decided to give Minasia and May's introduction as well.

"There is the fearsome and respectable Queen Minasia of Alalea, along with her Guardian and companion May, who strikes fear into her victims," he said, attempting to give Minasia and May the appropriate gestures of respect as he would give to Queen Islanzadi herself.

"We have come to Ellesmera for rest, when he came across the Shade and the Urgals," he said. He decided in a split second that it would not be sensible to tell this stranger every little detail about the reasons behind their trip. "Now, if we may, we would like to go through to Ellesmera now."

Minasia and May both exchanged rather pleased stares, and smiled quite some bit. This little itroduction was much to their taste, as their wide smiles could show.

May then stared forwards, first at the rather odd woman, inspecting her roughly, then at Sora. Decicively, she hadn't gone wrong by meeting Alianae on that fateful day...

"Aye...!" firstly came May's voice. "We have no intentions to harm whoever or whatever lies beyond; we only want right of passage. Would you please give us that privilege?" she asked, bowing in respect.

"May... I don't think you needed to repeat what Sora just said..." Minasia sighed, shaking her head slowly. "I'm quite sure she understood the FIRST time..."

May strightened her back and smiled at Minae, throwing her a quick wink.

'And just what was THAT supposed to mean?!'
'It MEANS that we should be careful around her. In case you haven't notived, she controls all the magicks...'
