A dark green blur blazed past with a roar as the truck leaped out of the garage, blazing to the shelter.

Eric clambered up the ladder to the Nova's cockpit, firing the mech up and wheeling it out the hangar door.

Hattie watched the green blur and Eric leave the garage. She wasn't quite sure where they were going or what exactly was going on.... She had fallen asleep, or rather, passed out from her headaches behind the far work bench and only recently regained herself.

((well she's unconcious in the shelter thread at the moment, and by all appearances it should be easy enough to swipe. But I'll warn you it might take some work for him to get the ring, especially if the seer is nearby.))

Hattie shrugged at the situation, ran to what she now dubbed Her Truck and followed behind the Nova.

By the time Hattie's truck arrived at the base Ruby was partly conscious, her grey eyes half open. She was also extremely cranky. The burns were all throbbing, while her head matched the tempo with a sharp stabbing headache. She was too exhausted to heal herself, and voices were droaning in her head, scolding her for not conserving her power, and attempting to play the self-sacrificing hero again. She let out a low groan, hoping it would drown out the voices, it didn't help, so she settled into the pain and forced one of her eyes open a little wider, and glanced from Hattie to the seer and back again. She paused, noticing there were only three of them together in the truck. The pain was pushed to the back of her mind as a coldness tightened in her stomache. "Where's Aaron?"

Ruby's eyes darted onto Ayx, and they were filled with fury. "A woman took him? He's fine?! Do you know if they even made it here?! They were shootin' people all over the place at the damned shelter. He's prob'ly out there right now, bleedin'. An' to hell with worries larger than my child! There are no worries larger than my child, you damned tin can!" If she had the energy to throw a punch, she would have.

The video screens that were placed int the city flicker to life, Jerich standing at a podium.
"As we know, the Human Alliance launched an attack on neutral territory this morning. Due to the swift response of on duty supers both in Krovh and at the shelter, as well ans the voulteer heroes that arrived shortly thereafter, those affiliated with the Resistance and seeking to do good, the assult was thrown back, General Coyl and his forces routed.
However, the time has come for us to press the attack. In the past week, we have been attacked by the Human Alliance twice, and the time has come for us to return the good graces, and elimate this threat to our people. All memebers of the Korvhan military need to report to your Base Armory, gear up, and await activation. Any supers affiliated with the Angel need to arrive at the base, and await activation.
All civilians are reminded that we are under martial law, and it will be tightly enforced. New restrctions will be applied as needed. Be reminded that this IS a time of war. The laws in place are not suggestions, and breaking them will result in heavy, terrible consequences.
Thank you for your ongoing cooperation."
