"Hey it wasn't always like that. I pretty much made it easier last time" The wall crumbled revealing a path which split into 3. "This must be that maze i heared about" Alpha muttered.
"Damn right it is and luckily for you i marked the route. Oh and now the wall is down the fiends could appear at any minute. i hope you like flans" Seph turned left

Itaka groaned "flans....strong against phsyical"
Oassu frowned "okok Felina, Alex, Kimino and Seph it'll be up to you to handle the flans you know magic"

"Wait what type of flans exactly?" Hikari asked while Seph was examining the ground for something. "All sorts, even dark flans. If Itaka gets lucky we might run into a mega tonberry" She got up off the ground "ok i know where to go. We turn left again up here" She pointed straight ahead

Itaka laughed "I slaughtered my way through Tonberry cave earlier I don't see how we should have a problem"

Hikari rolled her eyes "Your not impressing anyone here. And i thought Kimino was a show off" Seph turned right there stood a flan in front of their path. Alpha laughed at it "It's just an ice type" He cast firaga killing it instantly "I hope the rest of the fiends are this easy"

Alex folded his arms "I hope you haven't raised our expectations too high Seph" he laughed "These things are nothing" he absent-mindedly cast blizzara at a fire flan attempting to sneak up behind him
Itaka smiled "Don't matter if they come harder than this" he lifted his sword to shoulder water flan goop dripping from it's edge into a small blue puddle on the floor
Kimino glanced about "I don't like this it's too easy" he said blasting a electric flan out of existance

"Oh this isn't meant to have the hardest fiends. Thats part of the 3rd trial. It's the maze that kills people off here. I spent 3 days wandering around this place" Seph stated. The had turned into another cracked wall
She broke it with her sword "You need to know the hidden passages to get through here, hense why it's know as the trial of intelligence"

"Well we are here in trial 1. trial of intelligence a giant maze. Which is difficult if you have to work it out for yourself itaka. in the centre of the maze theres a trapdoor that leads to trial 2, the trial of skill. after that is the one itaka is waiting for, the trial of the warrior where all the tough fiends are"

"Hey! The best way to learn is by new challenges and surprises" Hikari retaliated. "Not much further now...." She stopped Blocking their path was a dark flan.
