Anita glanced up. "Everyone else. Micah, Nathanial..." She didn't mention Richard. No need as she was tired of his attitude.
Sky put it back, marking it for later to read. She pulled anothe rbook out, doing the same thing as she did to the first one.

JC was very glad that Anita hadn't mentioned Richard, he intensely disliked the werewolf and would rather not have to think of him. There wasn't much he could do, at least he didn't think he could do much, but the guy tried. "I am sure they are doing fine, who knows, they may find their way here like we did." Here, Anita was exclusively his, Asher had someone of his own, but for Anita to be happy..he was able to stand the idea of possibly giving up. It was terrible to think of, but again, it would be for Anita.
Ra slithered over to the fire, watching the flames dance as she looked around. He grew up in this tower and knew the books pretty well, so he amused himself while she discovered them.

"Perhaps....but it does help to know they're okay.." She was relaxed with him, especially with the sense of touch. Otherwise she'd have been on pins and needles, wanting to know and not be satisfied until she could see for herself.
Sky grabbed another book and decided to take it to the lounge. She settled into it, already starting to read the book, lost in the world it offered. Not even the warm fire roused her attentions.

He contined to lightly stroke her hair as he told her,"IF they were not, you would know it, ma petite." He had nothing against Micah or Nathanial, it was just hard to see the peace broken by her worrying. That horrid beeper had not gone off, last night they were uninterrupted, this was paradice. It just seemed Anita yerned for something more. Perhaps peace was a fool's dream.
Ra stayed slient, just getting absorbed into the flame's dancing. He'd leave her to her reading while he enjoyed the fire.

Rin shifted, feeling very good and very peaceful. Her eyes remained shut as she just soaked in the feeling of being in Asher's arms. One hand lazily trailed lightly down his side. That hand then skipped over to her own leg and came up to her stomach. It was that moment that her peace and good feeling was shattered.
Her hand had to travel up a mound of harden flesh to reach her belly button then back down to reach her chest. Her eyes flew open and she looked to her stomach. Worse fears were realized. She was now very visibly pregnant. Her stomach had swollen out roughly a hand length on all side. It took her a moment, and then she screamed.
Rin was horrified and crying at the development.

Asher ended up falling off the bed from her scream, startled out of his sleep. His tail flipped about, with fangs of warning and a slow hiss before he realized no one else was in the room but Rin.
His tail coiling under him, he lifted himself back up only to see how pregnant his mate was. Hi thoughts were of how dead he was going to be now.
"Rin?"

Later, she might just laugh at what Asher had done, this was not the time. She sat on the bed, her arms supporting her on the mattress on either side of her swollen stomach. Her tail thrashed so wildly, that if it was the only thing someone saw, they would likely wonder how many bloody chunks of Asher would be found in the morning.
However, she was sobbing, tears streaming down her cheeks proving something else. Rin was a vain kitty, proud of her body, to suddenly majorly loose it was traumatizing. "The nurse was right." She managed to cry out, "I am too fat!" The nurse had called her fat, told her she weight too much any way. Now, she thought he was right.

Asher had little indication as too what happened, other then what Anita had told him. Now he wanted to kill the nurse for saying such things to his kitty. However was not the time to think of that. He was the one dealing with the outrage.
"Rin, he's lying. You are not fat." Asher was smart enough not to point out that excerise would help but...yea.

Rin did not stop crying, this was too terrible for her. She shook her head, rubbing her eyes as she told him, "I am, look at me, it looks like I have a bowling ball for a stomach! I have just eaten too much, no more of that." No, she'd cut down a lot!
Rin did not consider that the rest of her was thin. Well she was a bit meaty, but not enough to be considered pudgy or anything.

"You're pregnant. Not the same as being fat." He tried pointing out gently.
"You are still beautiful and slender to me..."
In a way he was sorely reminded of Belle Morte, but grinned knowing he was not under her control anymore.

That did it, he was able to calm her down. Her crying was slowed to just a sniffle as she brushed her. "Thanks, beloved."
Calming her breathing from the crying she lightly put her hand on the swollen flesh of her stomach and she lightly spoke, "It was just a shock." Shock was probably an understatement, after all the day before her stomach was only slightly puffy!

He flickered his tongue a bit, very glad it was nothing more then her scare of being fat. He snaked across the bed to pull her into his arms. "I bet we can hear them...well you probably can feel them yes?"

Rin pressed her back against Asher, feeling very comforted by being in his arms again. In response, she took one of his hands and guided it to a spot on her stomach. "See for yourself.", was her soft whisper as her guidance led him to a spot where he could just feel a slight movement.
It had shocked her to feel the movement; apparently her being upset had also unsettled them. Waiting a few moments, she spoke again, "You know, we will need to come up with three girl’s names and three boys names, just in case since the gender is unknown, and talk of how to parent them." It wouldn't do well if one of them was stern and the other was a complete contradictory push over.

He nodded, smiling warmly as he felt the movements under his hand. "You're right...we do need to discuss about that."
Children somewhat scared him, only because he had dealt with three child vampires who actually enjoyed pain.
"What did you have in mind for names?" He wasn't ready to deal with discipline yet...

Rin thought more about it, the movements making it more real that some time soon, she'd have three children. Nuzzling lightly against his neck, she told him, "I like the names Suzette and Ami for girls names, any thoughts on two more boy's names?" She hoped for at least one girl, but would love them no matter the outcome.
