"Yes! Our first caprute!" Crenu ran up to the ball and picked it up, holding out to Larvitar. "Great capture buddy, and that sand storm from nowhere, that was awsome. Looks like you got yourself a new partner to battle with." He grinned as he staired at the pokeball, then at Larvitar. He put the ball on his belt and picked up Larvitar, letting him ride on his shoulders for a bit. "You're the champ buddy."

Winona was as always outwerdly unphased at the commotion, an apathetic gaze on her face. Tropius could not retaliate to the Crobat's vicsious assault, due to using all her energy for that Hyper Beam. That also affected her flight, or lack thereof. The poor beast landed on her back with a loud thud, struggling to get up. "Come on Tropius! Get up, you think Mike's Charizard beat you so easily on a fluke? Tough it out you're better than this!" To some her manner of speech would be considered harsh and cruel, but for this Gym Leader, tough love was the only way to train. She would pamper her Pokemon later for a job well done, win or lose.

Winona's harsh comments towards her Tropius didn't affect Kasiya in the slightest. In fact, she smiled lightly, having been practically raised in the Vermilion Gym, she'd heard her father speak in the exact same manner. Being a gym leader's Pokemon is tough, she thought as she told Fang to attack again with another Wing Attack. But they're also very lucky to have such caring trainers.
Fang dove towards the helpless Tropius at an incredible speed, stopping at the last second and hovering above her. A sympathetic look, or what could pass for a Crobat giving a sympathetic look, crossed his face as he floated down, and took a hold of Tropius's good leg, and pulled her back up onto all fours. He flapped his four wings rapidly, to keep himself hovering as he grinned at her, circling her a few times as he made happy screeching noises.
"Fang...?" Kasiya murmured, tilting her head in confusion. "What is he doing?"

The baby Cyndaquil wriggled so that it rested its head on Keegan's shoulder, looking at things they passed as they walked around. It made happy little squealing noises, small puffs of smoke wisping out of its back pores every now and then. Keegan couldn't help but smile. "You're a terror, but you are terribly cute," he told the young Pokemon, who squealed happily and licked his ear. The boy laughed, missing the jealous look he was given by Helios. "You're going to make someone a very happy trainer," he added. Helios gave an indignant snort, his ears twitching with annoyance.

Winona wore a smirk, victory was almost within his grasp. "Alright Tropius, this is your last attack, give it your all! Let's show that bat one more Hyper Beam!" Taking complete advantage of Fang's kindness, the grass Pokemon reared back, firing one last attack at the Crobat. The force of the attack slid Tropius back, leaving tracks in the dirt.
As the blinding light covered the battlefield, Winona crossed her fingers behind her back, hiding any form of anything she felt as weakness.

Fang's infatuation left him completely unable to react at all, and he was struck by the powerful beam, light engulfing the battlefield. "Oh no..." Kasiya whispered inaudiably, looking up at the sky as the light faded. Fang was still airborne, but on a closer inspection, he was only being kept up by the wind. The Crobat began to fall, and Kasiya ran out to catch him. Fang, being much heavier than she, knocked her to the ground. Ignoring the pain she felt in her backside, Kasiya held her fainted Pokemon tightly. "You're awesome, Fang," she told him repeatedly. "You're the bravest Crobat in the whole world." She held out his Pokeball and recalled him, then stood up, her eyes fixed on the ground. After a moment or two, she looked up at Winona and her Tropius. "Well, that was a good battle," she said, a smile plastered to her face. "Toughest one we've had in a while."

Not feeling like interupting a Pokemon/trainer moment, Winona wordlessly handed Flannery the TM, recalling her victorious Tropius and heading back to the Pokemon Center.
Tough kid.

Kasiya watched Winona walk inside the Pokemon Center, a true smile creeping up onto her face. "I can't wait to challenge her again sometime," she said, looking at Fang's Pokeball. "And I really did like her helmet. It gave the impression that she wasn't one to mess around." The girl spoke as she walked towards Flannery. "But I don't think she likes me, though."
"I don't think that's the case at all," Flannery smiled, holding up the shining disc. "She couldn't have been that unimpressed with you, otherwise she wouldn't have given you this."
"But..." Kasiya looked over to where the gym leader had gone once more. "I don't understand."
"Neither do I. But trust me, you don't want to question it." Flannery placed the disc in Kasiya's hand. "So what do you want to do now?"
"I think that trekking through the wilderness can wait," Kasiya said, looking down at the disc in her hands and smiling. I want to see Mike again. "Let's go to Lavaridge," she said finally.

Pushing himself off of the tree again Dante moved over to them picking up the last bit of there conversation. "Do you think I could come with you? I should probably check out the egg, which has probably hatched by now, that my mom gave him and then I will be on my way." Behind him floated Kenny holding Dante's egg once more in his small arm's. "That is if you don't mind." He asked the last bit nervously. He wasn't that used to traveling with other trainer's and he was kind of looking forward to talking with them some more. "I understand if it's not all right and all" He finished kind of lamely. "I can just go to the next gym or something..."

"Alrighty then," Flannery nodded, although she seemed to blanch a little. Kasiya didn't notice as she was already half-turned towards the direction of the train station. I didn't do too bad, she thought, smiling to herself as Dante came up to them. "Of course," Kasiya said, grinning at him. "The more the merrier." With that, she tucked the TM into her bag, got to her feet and was now skipping off towards the station.
"I must admit, I admire her energy," Flannery chuckled. "We should get a move on. We'll probably get an earfull if we're late."

A look of relief crossed Dante's face for a moment befor he smiled and nodded. "Thank's you two." He said as he watched Kasiya skip off to the station. "She certiantly does." He said in response to Flannery's comment. Smiling he shook his head and followed her to the train glad to be out of this Forest town. Kenny followed him happy that he got to hang around the pretty ladies more, even if he had to carry his trainer's egg around, well Dante wasn't making him do it but still.

By the time Dante and Flanney caught up with her, Kasiya was already seated on the train. She waved at her two new friends enthusiastically, with Allegra perched on her lap. The little pink kitten mewed and waved her tail as well, her spirits already rising. "I'm going to take care of you," Kasiya promised again, as Flannery lead Dante onto the waiting train, and sat down.
"It'll be good to see Lavaridge again," the gym leader sighed, leaning back in her seat. "Even though it hasn't been that long."
"I've never been there," Kasiya replied, leaning back and petting Allie's head gently. "But someone once mentioned to me there were hot springs."
"Oh yes," Flannery beamed. "Those springs are amazing. They'll make you feel like you're brand new."
"Definitely going to have a soak in them, then," Kasiya said dreamily, leaning back as Allie curled up in the seat next to her to nap.

"Lavaridge was one of the few place's me and mom didn't travel to when she was still a trainer... It will be interesting to go there for a while. And those hot springs sound great as well, I might have to visit them befor I leave." He said to himself leaning back into the squishy train seats. Kenny had set the egg down in Dante's lap and had floated down to the last availuable cushion and settled himself down for a nap as well, he had had quite a long day and was looking forward to the rest.

After having a long rest, Crenu awoke and stood up. He dusted himself off, then looked over at Larvitar. 'You well rested buddy?" Larvitar nodded and Crenu laughed. " How about you?" Crenu threw his pokeball and out came Spinarak in a bright flash. Spinarak turned around a few times as if getting settled, then turned to face Crenu. She crawled over to him and nuddged his leg as if to say say yes. "Good. I'm glad to see that you got ever my capturing you. Guess I'm lucky you're a friendly pokemon." He grinned as he pet her, then laughed as she cralwed up to his shoulder. "Say, how about we do some training?" Spinarak seemed to agree as it nudged Crenu's neck which made him laugh. "Alright, lets get started then. Spinarak, use string shot on that branch!" Crenu stood up and pointed to a tree branch a good few meters away.. Spinarak shot her silk at the branch, it traveled through the air like lightning as it struck the branch directly.

Kasiya peered out the window as the train started to roll. It wouldn't be a long ride, and it wasn't, as a short time later, the trio of trainers pulled into Lavaridge Station. Kasiya scooped up Allie in her arms and hopped off the train, looking around. "Wow," she said, admiring the scenery. "This place is wonderful!"
"Isn't it, though?" Flannery sighed, breathing in the wonderful, familiar air. "I was born and raised here, and I can't imagine living anywhere else."
'Where's the gym?" Kasiya asked curiously, looking around.
"It's this way," Flannery said. "There's a healing machine in there too, you can use that to get Fang all rested up."
"Thanks," Kasiya grinned, beckoning to Dante. "C'mon, let's go!!"
