HEY.
At least he put a damn R in there like a proppa Ork.
Can't say as I'm even capable of imaging how an impotent psychotic killing machine and a fungal symbiote carry out their forbidden love, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

There really is a fanfic about that, complete with spelling Waaagh wrong. Also, the Space Marine switches from metal amor to cloth uniform about halfway through getting raped.
Oh god I hate life.

BOOYA, GRANDMA! Just so as we're clear on the issue, the word is "WAR!" not some random howl.

Waaagh: "I'm da profit of da Waaagh an' whole worlds burn in my boot prints. On Armour-Geddem I led da boyz through da fire deserts and smashed da humies'metal cities to scrap. I fought Yarik, old one-eye at Tartarus, an' he fought good but we smashed iz city too. - Soon to be old Ork Codex, also GW website.
"Ork empires wax and wane on the strength of the Warlord who rules them, and when a particularily mighty Warlord brings enough warriors to his banner, a huge, system-spanning invasion, known as Waaagh! is launched. A Waaagh! lays waste to all before it in a frenzy of looting, warfare amd destruction that is beyond imagination." -Last edition of the Space Marine Codex.
"Such Waaaghs! are all but impossible to resist as hundreds of thousands of warriors hungering for battle descend on a world in a tide of Orkish malevolence" - 4th Edition 40k Rulebook.
"A suitably herioc ending to bloody battle- the unstoppable green tide of Waaagh! Buzzgob had laid waste to Cadia's finst, but at what cost?" - 1st issue of the Canadian White Dwarf.
In an unrelated note, I like the way my codex smells.

Wagh sounds like some feeble fart. Wargh sounds like a blood-curdling roar.

They are credible sources, I'm not denying that. It's just that it makes more sense for it to be Wargh, and there is also evidence of it being both.

As far as Gamesworkshoip canonicity seems to work, the more modern 'dexes seem to be the proper authority. 'Waaagh' is, therefore, the proper spelling. I also evidence the constant yelling of 'Waaagh!' not 'Waaargh!' at Gamesday and at several tournies I've been part of at the local GW. As well as the Codex, the 4th ed. rule book, dozens of books, and Xenology. Waaargh may have been canonical once, in bygone days long past, but no longer is. The modern, current, canon Ork battlecry is 'Waaagh!'

The current spelling is simply to prevent the word from confusing Americans, or other non-limeys, who don't understand the accent or silent letters (c'mon, we're not French) from yelling "WARG!" The pronunciation of the word has never changed.
Listen to the word screamed by the Orc in the intro movie for Warhammer Online, or any one of the million times it's screamed in Dawn of War.
The word is, in fact, WAR! and sounds strange any other way.
