Kaoru got washed away. The wave seemed to have crashed out the buiding and headed towards the ocean carrying Kaoru with it.

The effects of the Sonic slash dispersed the huge wave however spat Kaoru out still further. After a few moments of flying into the air, Kaoru's body was ungulfed in the Gaian ocean however. As she floated down trying not to lose consciousness she glanced upon something strange, barely visible and gasped accidentally swallowing a bunch of water. As her body naturally spanned out, she bagan to float near the surface again as she lost consciousness.
