Daemon looked up at the doctor. The exhaustion in his eyes mixed with the pain and trauma was so intense, it was surprising that he was still standing. He took a few weak steps toward the doctor. Before he knew it, his world had gone dark, and he was falling through nothingness. He embrassed the blissful nothingness.

Satoshi smiled. "You are always welcome to have your wings out, Haruhi, whenver it is that you want to. I won't stop you." He held the boy close. "Just rest for now..." Satoshi leaned his own head back, closing hie eyes. Was this what peace was like..?

Pontiak bit his lip, watching Nathen leave. He gave Mutt a little smile of rassurance, even though he didn't feel it too much himself, and started cutting the steak into manageable strips. "So I take it you aren't going to want dog food anymore. Steak is much better, isn't it?"

Daemon hit the floor with a dull thud. His breathing was shallow and a cold sweat settled upon his brow.

Satoshi stared down at the robin before lowering his hand and letting the bird hop onto his hand. He brought the creature to his lips and planted a small, gentle kiss on the bird's head. He studied the bird and, through it, became lost in his own thoughts.

Tempest watched the gloves. "He brought it on himself. I would've let him off easy if he hadn't kept changing his mind about his promises and I told him not to move." He crossed his arms. "Just what do you think you're going to do? You are aware that I'm the only thing keeping Caine's father from finding out what treason he's been committing, aren't you? Jacques would be more than angry if he found out about those two b*****d whelps. The news would probably kill him. ... Speaking of which, are you going to allow Daemon to bleed out?"

Satoshi seemed lost in thought, but the sound of the boy's giggles as he rolled around in the flowers snapped him out of it. He smiled, and then threw his head back and laughed before tackling the boy and planting kisses on his lips, his cheeks, his neck, and his chest. Satoshi had never done anything so caring before...it felt odd to him, but good at the same time.

Daemon mewed in pain despite his being unconscious. Indeed, a pool of deep red blood was pooling around him, seemingly coming from his pants. He shook and shivered, growing paler, his mews becoming quieter.

Mutt chewed on a piece of steak and nodded happily, "I love it, it's so juicey" he said, then he felt something wrong in his stomach, "I...I know that it only takes a short time for my child to develope, but he is already kicking Pontiak!!" he exlaimed, accually rather happy
