muted melodies As in eight and sixteenth note rips dear. Speaking of, we got an amazing piece today called, I think, Variations on a Korean Folk Song. Wicked hard. We played that not too long ago. I hated it because the Horn part is kinda lame. We don't have the melody.

Songs in band so far: Longford legends, He's gone away, Anne Laurie, and Gathering places. The last three are ballads that our bd is deciding on what to play for our assessment but the first is a definite.

We played that not too long ago. I hated it because the Horn part is kinda lame. We don't have the melody. The first part is just really high in a lot of the places. neutral My upper range isn't as developed as I would like yet.

There're some tricks that make the song a lot easier (alternate fingerings and the like). We're playing Commando March and Elegy. Elegy's got some sweet chords in it.

I believe we played Commando March last year. I liked it, though granted I was on flute at that point in time.

muted melodies Flutietoot01 muted melodies Flutietoot01 Mellophone player here! I play mello for the Stockton Buccaneers Drum Corps ... sweatdrop hehe thats pretty much all i can say Cool. If I could pick a corps to march with, I'd like to march with Phantom Regiment. smile The Cavis are my one true love but seeing as how I am not a boy, I don't think it would work very well. i love the cavaliers! but yeah the buccaneers are new- its been 30 years since the stockton had a drum corps. YAY! Another Cavaliers fan. smile And sounds like the Bayonne Bridgemen..They kinda died but they're starting back up. My boyfriend's marching contra with them this year. n.n oh thats awsome! mandarins rock!!! my teacher use to march with them now my very good friend is in it playing contra!
