Orton would slither over onto Mason, covering him up for the first pinfall of the match. Trying to seal the match and capture the Universal Championship.

Aleks would begin to regain some sense of where he was as he realized he was being pinned. The referee slammed his hand down to the mat twice, counting two counts out loud before Mason shot his shoulder into the air in order to kick out

Randy Orton thought he might've been able to slip past and win after utilizing the steps but Aleks Mason was able to kick out. Annoyed, Orton would climb the turnbuckle making a rare appearance in the air, waiting for Mason to get to his feet.

Randy Orton would stalk Aleks Mason, waiting for him to reach his feet. Once he did, The Viper would dive off the top turnbuckle, attempting a picture-perfect missile dropkick.

Mason looked up into the sky and saw Orton leaping off for a dropkick. He knew flying wasn't Orton's strong suit, and so did everyone else. Aleks looked to side step to avoid behind hit.

Randy Orton would crash down onto the mat, landing uncomfortably on his side. The move was high-risk especially for someone who was rarely seen using high-flying maneuvers, the risk however did not pay off. Orton would shift over onto his stomach in a good amount of pain.

Mason used this opportunity to recover a bit, waiting for Orton to get back up.

Orton would crawl over to the closet set of ropes, using them to regain his footing. After, reaching his feet he would turn to Mason, still leaning on the ropes.

Mason would approach Orton and press against him in the ropes, he would then irish whip Orton to the opposite set of ropes.

Orton would be irish whipped without much hassle if any, bouncing back off the opposite set of ropes and returning to Aleks Mason.

When Orton bounced off the ropes, Mason would begin a little sprint and attempt to hit Randy with a spear with a bridge, into possible a pin if he connects

Aleks Mason agile move would be perfectly executed as the pinfall would take place. The referee would reach the count of two, before The Viper would aggressively kickout.

Following the kick out, Mason would get to his knees and begin to become annoyed, "COME ON!" he would yell, as he got back to both his feet

Randy Orton not too out of it would get up to his feet as well but at a slower pace, reaching his feet moments away Aleks Mason had gotten up on his.
