Glitter, she said he was spoiled??! Grrr, why do people say stuff like that when they don't know?
I had him over my grandmother's house and the dog started washing his face and he started crying. So, I picked him up and comforted him. I put him to stand on the deck a little and he started crying again. I reat the comforting part. We sit down and my aunt wants to hold him. He starts crying again.
He would just keep crying. Apparently when my mom fed him she didn't feed him enough and he was tired. I think he's in a growth spurt, but she said he was spoiled because the moment he started crying really bad I was on my feet and ready to take him back from my aunt.
That's family for you. It's not that I don't trust her. It's just she doesn't come around often enough for her to be the one that he's going to be comforted by. To him she's just one step above a stranger and he doesn't like strangers. He loves Ricky though. My grandmother was holding D and Ricky walked in the room. The moment D saw him, he started laughing and bouncing and trying to get to him. Ricky plays with him and talks to him all the time though. I have had a few days where him entertaining my son was the reason I got to eat when I was hungry.
So, yeah...the adults don't seem to realize that he isn't like their kids. They're still throwing the fact I don't make my son's food in my face.
Anyway...welcome to my family...
My grandmother did manage to get him a new highchair though. A friend gave them a highchair and it was missing pieces. It was for D. So, she called in to order the pieces and they're going to send a new one instead. That's pretty cool. They're not all bad, but when it comes to my son they can be such the pain in the a**.
