I had quirked a curious brow at Ms.Jezebel's remark, perhaps my clothes were a dead give away, though, I doubted working as a desk clerk would be considered "high-class" anywhere. I smiled, 'No, no. I just work the counter at Saisons de Amour, the hotel.' I clarified, biting off another helping of blueberry cheesecake. My eyes closed in delight, ummmph! Delightful. My suspicions were correct regarding her name, so it really did carry an undesirable definition or perhaps not, she did say she was relieved I had not heard of her name. I replied with a soft smile and a quick nod, mayhaps I had too much cake I could not reply coherently, I hope she didn't mind.
Her phone buzzed, sending vibrations across the table, not so much to annoy me, I shook my head, 'It's not a problem,' I replied, watching as Ms.Jezebel's finger glided across the display to fashion a quick reply. I wished I had someone to text, how would that feel, being needed? My lips curled, maybe Ms.Ava would someday text me? A woman could wish. Ms.Jezebel pocketed her phone when a low grumble came from her stomach, I hid a smirk behind my hand. How adorable! I wanted to offer her lunch, as a way to apologize disturbing her day, and had shot off her order before I could say anything.
She came back from the cashier, her lunch in a similar tray. A chocolate muffin and a box, perhaps to take away. 'I would've paid for you, Ms.Jezebel.' I said.

Saisons de Amour, can't say that fits to her interest in a place, but she probably may have passed by the hotel several times she might have not noticed it. Though considering how nice the name sounds, it can't possibly be a small hotel. "Oh a receptionist. Keeping track of the guest staying over and checking in the guest that comes by the hotel. I work as one as well, though in a hospital." Jessie pointed out in the similarity of their jobs. They may not share that much work since it's in different buildings and type of job, though those kind of jobs are quite handful and loads of work, if they happen to have loads of patients/ guests.
When Jessie came back with her small plate of muffin, she closed the big nursing textbook, moving it to the ground, and leaning against her chair. She then peeled off the muffin liner on one side of the muffin and took a small bite of the muffin and placed it back down on the plate as she quietly chewed on the piece. Grabbing a napkin from the napkin dispenser, Jessie's eyes turned to Evelyn as she told the female she could have paid for her food. Not wanting to be rude and talk with food in her mouth, Jessie smiled at her and waved her empty hand, saying it's no big deal and no need for her to do that. Just finishing up her muffin piece and swallowing the first bite down, she covered her mouth a bit before speaking. "Oh please, it's no need for that. It was just a couple of dollars." Hopefully the female was not worrying about disturbing her earlier, she was a pretty nice company to have. Being polite and kind and also offering to pay for a stranger she met just not too long ago.
Going for another bite of the muffin, Jessie's phone then vibrated, but this time in her pocket and caused the girl to jump a bit from the vibration. Jessie had one hand holding the muffin, while the other reached in to her pocket, grabbing the phone and checking the new message. Her eyes widen a bit after reading the text she received. "Oh my..", the girl whispered quietly to herself and before she replied to the message, she took another quick bite of the muffin and replied to Chester.
"Oh no.. That doesn't sound good.. Are they okay? That's good to have them taken outside, some fresh air should be able to get pass the dizziness. Should give them some water too. They may probably dehydrated.."
O.O.C: Oh I know ^^' My character is currently texting her character.
'Oh you work the desk?' I hear myself say, 'I had thought you were a nurse or a doctor,' I pointed at the thick book that laid on the table, quite amazing to see someone so interested in their line of work that they've decided to give an extra push. Perhaps Ms.Jezebel was interested in becoming a nurse? Who knew.
I took another sip of my drink, allowing the cool contents to lubricate my parched throat and set it down. My gaze was on Ms.Jezebel, or more specifically her dining etiquette, which was pleasing. She was a company that I had rarely encountered in this day of age, but then again, I rarely had company, she exhibited a rare trait known to most as politeness. Upon hearing her humble reply, I open my mouth to speak again, a smile on my lips, 'My point exactly, I could afford a couple of dollars, yes?' I chuckled, picking up my drink again before swirling it around in my hand, the lemon slices swimming in the tea.
I was quite content with the situation I found myself in, good company, a nice drink and a delicious meal. So I was quite surprised when my companion suddenly jerked upwards, to my relief, it had only been her phone. The woman was easily startled it seemed, I observed her as she read her phone, her big eyes impossibly widening in surprise before uttering a sentence most usually associated with disbelief. 'Is something the matter, Ms.Jezebel?'I asked, slightly worried.

Jessie's eyes followed Evelyn's finger as it pointed to her nursing book and listened as she thought the female was a nurse or doctor. She wished she was, but sadly the position was already taken and they may have more experience than the female. "When I turned in my application for the position, it was already taken.. Only receptionist was open. Though even if I worked at the desk, I do have some chances to watch the nurses and doctor do their work.", Jessie told as looked back up to Evelyn, "But I'm just studying more of the field, since I'm hoping I can get up to the position or maybe continue doing the field, but probably be a vet." Jessie has been considering to do veterinarian for a while. Maybe due to the fact she has saved her little fox from dying, though still did had to take her to the hospital for them to patch her up fully.
As Jessie continued eating and nearly finished with the chocolate muffin, her hand reached to her iced tea, taking a few sips then finishing the muffin and crumpled up the paper liner and left the liner on top of the plate. Jessie grabbed another napkin from the dispenser and wiped away the crumbs that were on her lips and threw away the liner and napkins in the trash and placing the plate on top of the trash can desk for the employees to pick up. "Heh probably next time, if I don't mind.", the girl said as she planted her butt back to the seat and placed her book and bag on the table.
When Jessie read the previous message of one of the guest fainting, Evelyn questioned her if something happen as she read the text. "My friend is working at the bar as a DJ and there's a party going on and looks like one of the guest there has gotten dizzy. Hopefully they are okay.." Jessie's nursing side showed concerned about that guest, they must be really dehydrated or something to become dizziness. Though good enough, they reacted quickly to have them go outside for a quick breather. Jessie stayed at the message screen and read the previous messages to see when the party was going to end. Chester did tell her, but couldn't remember what time it was going to be, it should be soon though.
As Jessie read back the previous messages, spotting the message of when the party ends, her eyes looked up on the screen and stared at the time. It was almost time to get going and meet up with Chester at the Pasadena streets. Time felt like it was going pretty fast. She enjoyed Evelyn's company and having to talk to someone as she waited for Chester to be off work. She didn't want to leave her alone, but she had somewhere to go and had plans already made to see Chester since it has been quite a while from her last meeting with him. As Jessie fixed her belongings today, the phone buzzed once more, signaling the girl of a new message. With the phone already unlocked and in the message screen, Jessie quickly eyed the screen and read the message. Chester was almost out of work and it was almost time for them to hang out. Before she replied to the text, she locked the phone as she got up from her seat, grabbing her stuff, and before she left she handed Evelyn a piece of paper and pen. "We should hang out again. And probably from our next meeting you can probably pay for my lunch or something, if I don't mind still", Jessie said as she smiled at the female. As she waited for Evelyn to write down her number, Jessie sent a text to let Chester know she's on the way.
'Ahh, I see.' Nodding as Jezebel explained, I never would've understood why the positions in the hospital were very limited, they could've used an extra pair of hands. Still, a vet was nothing to scoff at either, seeing I'll be getting myself a cat soon, having a veterinarian as an acquaintance might be useful.
I smiled as Ms.Jezebel returned to her seat, she was quite pro-active. My companion then explained the whole situation, I listened attentively, sipping my drink as I did. It was quite common for guests to become light-headed after a bout of partying, and if her friend was a good DJ, I would assume the tracks playing would be nothing less of 'lit' as the kids would say it. Hence, wild dancing would ensue and coupled with the unmentionable amount of drinks one might consume with the erratic movements... I could see why one would be dizzy.'I am not used to partying, but I hear it is quite common for people to become disoriented in these affairs.'I spoke, lowering my glass, I hoped what little knowledge I had regarding the matter would dissuade her from her worries, but then again... These gatherings often had uninvited guests, who, would often ''spike'' others beverages with sleeping agents in hopes of having "a good time".
Ms.Jezebel unseated herself and gathered her belongings, I feel myself sink, she was that worried for a guest she had not met? An honorable trait, but surely unnecessary? I shook myself from my thoughts, I could not presume to know what had transpired, instead, I look up and smiled at her as she suggested that we "hung out" more. She extended a piece of parchment along with a pen, it took me awhile to understand the gesture. She wants you to write your number, dummy. And so I reached for the paper and pen, and quickly scribbled down my number and name before handing it back to her. 'I had enjoyed your company, Ms.Jezebel,' My tones warm and welcoming.

Partying wasn't also one of the things Jessie enjoyed. There is some parties that Jessie would attend, mainly family parties or get together type of parties. Those were something that Jessie could do, since it was just little parties and not so much drunk people in them. Like one or two drinks wouldn't hurt her, due to not being that addicted to alcohol and not much a drinker too. "Partying isn't my type either.. It's quite handful sometimes, mostly with the drunkies and shenanigans going on in it.", Jessie said as she finished whatever or can try to finish whatever was left in her drink and grabbed a hold of it.
As Evelyn wrote her number and name down on the piece of paper she handed her, Jessie nodded slowly and smiled back at the female. "It was quite a pleasure to have a nice talk to you too Evelyn. Oh and it's okay to call me just Jessie or Jezebel whichever is fine with you, no need for the honorifics.", the girl told her as threw away the almost empty cup of iced tea in the trash. "I'll see you around! Bye!" Jessie pushed opened the door of the cafe and waved at Evelyn then read the new text that arrived to her phone. Bench at the Pasadena streets.
'Okay shouldn't be too hard to find you seating at the bench'
With the text sent, Jessie made her way to her place first to drop off her book real quick and decided to bring Foxy along with her and then to the Pasadena district.

She wasn't sure how long she'd been sat in her office, working since the early morning hours. Ava didn't give herself many days off, considering she managed the small cafe that was known as Moonbucks, but the day before had been an exception...A delightful exception. Her drifting away from her computer screen, the twenty-four year old let herself smile in thought, thinking about the new friend she had made. Spending the day with Evelyn had been a delight in itself, so much so that the woman had considered inviting her back to her home to make dinner, but it hadn't happened. Despite being a rather social person, Ava was quite awkward with inviting people into her personal space. Perhaps it was in part of her invertedness? The want to keep her special place to recharge just that...
Shaking her head, ponytail swinging back and forth from where it sat back on her head, Ava's eyes narrowed back at her screen. "Focus, Moreno." She muttered to herself, almost harshly. She was almost done with her paperwork, placing an order to the paper company outside of town for more trash bags and napkins for the small cafe, and then she could go out and involve herself with her patrons and employees.

Work...the one thing I can legit never escape from ;-;
Dylan had taken the materials back to his home and also took a shower aswell. He had put on a shirt eith long sleeves although he had them rolled up, he also had some slim jeans, and some vans. After he had was done he made his way directly to the cafe. He wanted to surprise her there instead of having her see him. He normally did not dress like this but he wanted it to be special and he wanted to look good for her.
Once he made it to the cafe he looked around and was glad that he was there first. It was 10:10am though so he was there early. He sat down on a table for two and waited for her to arrive. Just the thought of her made him feel happy. He did hope she did noticed the note. Would be embarassing if he didn't. He probably should've sent a text but he felt a note was more special.

After leaving her house, Savannah headed towards the cafe. She didn't walk too fast as there was still a bit of time left until 10:30. Glancing around as the streets were fairly empty. It was sort of nice compared to the usual hustle and bustle. By the time the vampire reached Moonbucks it was 10:20. Chewing at the inside of her bottom lip a little, she would then glance down at her outfit. Was she dressed too simply? What if he had some grand date planned or something. Her heart raced and she hesitated for a moment before pushing the door open. As soon as she stepped inside, the young woman noticed Dylan right away. Staring at him for a second, she blushed before heading over to the table he was sitting at and smiled. "Hi." She said softly as she sat down across from him.
Dylan looked around as he waited, sorta anxious to see her before noticing walk in, his green eyes staring at her while his mouth was slightly open, as if he was in awe before snapping out of it and smiling brightly at her as she made her way over. "Goodmorning my sleeping beauty." He said to her and took her hand before giving it a kiss. It was a bit of a joke since he was acting like he was her prince. In a way he was but without the need to be proper and classy.

Savannah looked at Dylan then giggled softly when he kissed her hand. "G-Good morning." She said softly, her brown eyes glancing up at him. "So. How did you sleep?" She asked him with a curious tilt of her head. She had slept pretty well, then again, she always had slept better when she was cuddling with Cujo than when she had been sleeping aloe and she had always been a bit of a cuddler. As she sat there, she would glance at Dylan again, wondering if they were going to order anything for breakfast.
Dylan smiled at her and responded to her question. "I slept better than ever. Yiu latched onto me like a koala. It was very cute." He said with a chuckle before a waiter made his way to their table. 'Are you ready to order?' When he asked that Dylan gave a nod before looking at Savannah to make sure she was ready as well.

Savannah looked at Dylan before she blushed a bit and puffed out her cheeks. "I.. I did not!" She said in an embarrassed tone of voice, folding her arms across her chest in an embarrassed pout. The brunette would then glance up at the waiter before she glanced at the little menu they had at every table. Glancing at Dylan, she smiled to let him know that she was ready to order before looking at the menu. "I'd like a caramel iced coffee and and apple cinnamon muffin." She said, smiling at the waiter before glancing at Dylan to see what he would order.
Dylan laughed softly at her reaction and smiled warmly. "Is everything you do cute?" He asked her teasingly before the waited arrived to take their orders. She decided to order first and once she was done he ordered as well. "I would like some waffles and bacon." He said as the waiter wrote it down before nodding. 'I'll be back with your orders' he said before leaving. Dylan looked at her. "How often do you need blood? If I may ask ofcourse." He said since she was a vampire.
