Memo and Matt shared a smile as they both reached out into the Pokeball prize box and received their winnings! "Pancham for me!" "Timburr for for this guy!" And with that they went back to the HQ, waiting for their next outing!

Maddy entered HQ, her Gible and Axew following behind her. "I'd like to do some more training today."
Shelly walked into the common room from upstairs and spotted Maddy just entering the room. "Back again, I see. I finished upgrading some of the equipment around here."

Dimitri arrived in front of the hideout from riding around on the back of his wailmer, an activity that he liked to call 'wailmer surfing'. Next, dimitri hopped off the back of his Wailmer and landed on the ground inside of the hideout."I think that's enough fun for today my friend...you deserve some rest." Dimitri said as he took out a pokeball and pointed it at his wailmer while he watched a red beam of light engulf his pokemon to return him back to his pokeball. Then, Dimitri began to run towards the common room within the hideout, the sound of loud foot steps could be heard once he started to get close to the common room.

Maddy was situated on the couch, a book in hand. She looked up as she heard loud footsteps approaching and greeted Dimitri as he came into view. "Hey, there."

Memo walks out of his room with a Twinkie in his mouth. He and Cereza sluggishly make their way to Matt's room to bang on the door as Cereza trakes a piece of the snack cake from Memo.

Maddy suddenly jumped to her feet. "Goin' a little stir crazy. I wanna visit the Weather Institute!"
Shelly was in a nearby corner, standing on a chair to get at a security camera. She seemed to be fixing them up to produce better video and audio quality. "Find someone other than me to go with you. I need to finish upgrading these cameras."

Cody stepped into the common room alongside a tall, dark haired boy. They both wore matching blue bandanas tied backwards on their heads. Axew jogged into the room behind the boys, latching onto Maddy's leg the minute he noticed her. "Hey, Maddy. This is Sean," Cody greeted her, giving the girl a warm smile. It had been several days, if not a week since the two had seen each other. Busy schedules seemed to be keeping everyone apart this time of year, but after the holidays, he hoped everything would fall back into place. "Hey," the new kid chimed in, raising his hand for a small, insignificant wave in Maddy's direction. He came off as rude, but realistically, he was just a really laid back kind of guy. "I guess I'm the new guy." He sort of chuckled, walking past her and into the kitchen. He turned to the two and asked, "So, what do you guys have to drink?"

Shelly responded to the new boy without looking away from her work. "There's coffee in the cupboard above the coffee maker in the kitchen, and there should be an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages in the fridge. Man, I'd kill for a martini..."
Maddy punched the air in front of her, filled with determination. "We're visiting the Weather Institute! I wanna punch a Castform in the face!"

"Here, let me show you," Cody replied to the boy, waving to Shelly as she worked as to not interrupt her. The two started for the kitchen, but stopped in their tracks and turned to look at Maddy with the most confused expressions as she expressed her feelings about Castform. "So, let's go curb that appetite," the boy said to Maddy with a forced smile. He couldn't shake the weirdness of her last statement. "Punch a Castform in the face, huh...?" "One hell of a first impression," Sean replied to the girl, unable to shake the look off his face. He continued to the fridge, opened the door, and proceeded to look around for a soda or some kind of caffeinated beverage. "Nothing. What a shame," he said, shaking his head as he closed the door.

Maddy released her Axew and proceeded to get their adventure under way. Her Axew grabbed Cody's and dragged it along as she left the common room. "Hope you guys can catch up!" She called to them.

The duo took off after Maddy, wishing that either of them had a flying type. "We're gonna have to walk the whole way there, aren't we?" Cody shouted after her, giving Sean a look. "It wouldn't be a first day without something sucking within the first ten minutes," Sean shot back to Cody under his breath. Cody looked back to the boy, kinda confused. "I mean, you signed up for it," he chuckled, really hoping to be able to fly or bike or something. Anything but walking.

After a few tedious hours of walking, the group arrived at Route 119, right outside the Weather Institute. A scientist came out to greet them, holding out a Castform. "Oh look, trainers!" He started. "Would you like a free Cas--?!"
Maddy rushed forward and punched the little Pokemon square in the face, sending it flying from his arms. "SCREW YOU AND YOUR FREE GARBAGE!"
The scientist picked the Castform up off the ground and rushed inside the Institute without another word. There was a locking sound as he closed the doors behind him, indicating that the Weather Institute was probably closed off to the public for the time being.
Maddy turned to her companions. "Well, that was worth it. What now?"

Cody and Sean's jaws dropped to the ground as Maddy punched the small pokemon, sending it flying. The duo chased the scientist back inside, hoping to steal the weather pokemon, but the door was slammed in their faces, locking behind the scientist. "Well, this is great," Cody said sarcastically, looking to the sky as dark clouds started to form around them. "I hope when you made that Castform cry, it didn't bring on the rain..." Sean pouted, looking up to the clouds as well. "Man, I really wanted that pokemon," he said, disappointed. Then he had an epiphany. "Let's break into the Weather Center and steal that Castform! I want it!" Cody looked over at the boy, then back to Maddy, nodding in approval. "I'd be down for an op like that. Who knows what else we can find in that building. There's gotta be other goodies in there that we can take back to HQ." The boy had been looking for a way to prove himself as a leader. Leading the team last weekend on their trip to Mossdeep wasn't enough. He needed a prize to bring back to Archie that would set him apart from the others, and what better than a rare pokemon and some new tech?

"Let's look for a good way in." She made her way around the building, starting from the left side. There was a vent about ten feet up. She picked up her Axew. "Iron Tail!" Axew's little tail glowed with a metallic sheen and Maddy tossed the Pokemon at the vent. Axew twisted in mid-air and used the moment from the throw to slam his tail into the vent, knocking it off its hinges. "Ok, who wants to get boosted in first?" Adrenaline coursed through Maddy's veins; she was on a roll today.

Cody looked to Sean and pushed him forward with a grin. "Why don't you help the lady up," he chuckled, knowing the boy would be embarrassed. "You've got this, right?" If it had just been the two of them there, Sean would've told Cody to shove it, but it wasn't. In an effort to not be a total disappointment, the boy nervously walked up to Maddy and nodded, not saying a whole lot before wrapping his arms around her legs right at the knee and hoisting her up. He tried his hardest to not stare at her butt, trying to make eye contact with her, but looking elsewhere when he realized it was pointless. "Can you reach? Or do you need more of a boost?" Cody sat back and laughed as the new kid made a fool of himself. He obviously wasn't lifting her high enough and was being extremely awkward. "You gotta push from the butt," the boy shouted. "It'll give you the necessary lift." He was being ridiculously immature, but it was just too funny to watch.
