Never Again...Herald accepted Emma's kiss on the lips before getting up as well. He quickly put on his clothes before turning to her. "Let's practice outside," he told her, turning towards the door. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma finished getting dressed and quickly followed behind Herald. She rubbed the back of her neck slightly, wanting to try and go through this fight without using her third form. She didn't want to risk losing it. She hated it when she blacked out and something else took control of her while fighting. Plus she thought that form was ugly. Almost like all of her sins took physical form. "I'll definitely learn to control it..." she thought with a serious expression. She didn't want to let Herald down again. ☾

Never Again...Herald waited for Emma to get dressed before going out the door and through the fortress, down the winding stairs and out into the field of flowers that surrounded their home. He turned to face her, a grin on his face. He was obviously excited about this. "Ready?" He asked. Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald flashed briefly before turning into his regular combat form. "Alright then," he replied, his voice returning to its more rough and coarse state. He used his standard opener, rushing towards Emma with a quick burst of resonance force and raising his arm in the air. "Beast Slash!" He yelled, swiping his arm forward as a massive burst of dark blue energy in the shape of claws shot ahead of him, racing towards Emma. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma quickly jumped out of the way of the attack. One dagger of hers landed in the ground as she moved before she pulled out multiple others and launched them towards Herald, before they would make it, marks on them would glow causing them to explode and cause a shock wave speeding at Herald. While that was going on, Emma was setting up a future attack and also keeping on her feet to keep her distance from Herald. ☾

Never Again...Herald raised his arms, slamming through the shock-wave with minimal damage as he continued towards Emma. Just before he reached her he launched himself up into the air and over her. He took a deep breath as he did so, looking down just in time to fire a bright blue ball of fiery resonance force straight down at her before he landed on the other side, turning quickly to face her and prepare for his next attack. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma created a barrier around her before being hit. The attack collided with the barrier, causing smoke to go in all directions. A few moments later, multiple orbs of black and blue fire launched at Herald like bullets. Emma quickly moved out of the smoke in the opposite direction of Herald before throwing another dagger at the ground. ☾

Never Again...Herald saw Emma throw the smoke and knew an attack was coming. He took a deep breath and released a large stream of sapphire flames as soon as he saw Emma's fireballs incoming. The flames collided with the fireballs, causing them to explode prematurely. He halted his attack as soon as the last fireball exploded, looking around for Emma. As soon as he spotted her he exploded forward at twice the speed as before, sending multiple slashes of resonance force through the air as he attempted to hit the areas around her in case she tried to dodge. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma saw Herald come at her and quickly put up another barrier. Her wavelength suddenly radiated through the area and activated the multiple daggers she set down. A huge electric pulse came from all of them and launched at Herald from multiple directions. If hit , he would be temporarily immobilized by the electricity. ☾

Never Again...Herald slammed into the barrier with full force, annihilating it almost immediately. But when Emma's resonance force radiated throughout the area, he had no idea what to expect. He hadn't seen her do this before. The electric pulse hit him from every direction, freezing him in place as the shock traveled through his body. He let out a deep, guttural growl as he felt the pain of the shock, but he had endured much worse. Still, his limbs were frozen for the moment despite how much he struggled to free them. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma smirked slightly as the trick she had planned seemed to work. She pulled out a dagger which began to glow and turned into a sword covered with her flames. With Herald frozen still, she launched a huge wave of flames at Herald dead on. If it hit, not only would it burn but also cut. ☾
