Beck paused as he slowly looked at Tray again. "Last night."

Tray looked down then and bit her lip. She felt her grip loosen on her sword and after a moment she finally let it go, she stepped towards him and put her forehead right to his chest. "Damn it next time I go with you!" she stated, her body shaking a little.

Beck smiled and said "Of course. All you need to do is ask." With that, he held her once again, his head on top of hers as he gently rubbed her back, trying to calm her down from shaking.

Within a few minutes Tray was finally calmed down but she didn't move where she was."...so worried...couldn't sleep..." she mumbled lightly under her breath.

Beck blinked and looked at Tray. "What?" he asked, looking at her with a raised eyebrow. His eyes were wide as he wondered if what he heard was correct.

Beck blinked as his heart skipped a beat. He smiled and held her closer as he said "Thank you." His head on her shoulder as he added "I've missed you." The King then remained silent as he stood there with Tray in his arms.

Tray sighed and closed her eyes for a moment then opened them again and finally noticed the other person still their she blinked. "Who is that?"Len blinked and looked away, having a feeling he just ruined a bonding moment between the two.

Beck paused as he raised his head, then turned his eyes to lay on Len. "...Oh. That's the hex user I just told you about...his name is Len." He motioned towards the man. "Len, this is Tray. The woman I've been telling you about."

"Um...hi..." Len said as he lifted a hand up in greeting. "Where did you meet him?" Tray asked blinking.Len blinked then too and nervously rubbed the back of his head.

Beck gave a nervous chuckle and said "We met at a pub...when I first arrived in Nibelheim." It wasn't the entire truth but at least it wash't a straight up lie. Beck had a feeling it wasn't enough info and knew that if he told Tray the rest of the details, he'd be scolded.

Tray looked from Len to Beck. "So...what you just happen to run into a Hex user in a pub? What...did you do ask him to teach you more of that god forsaken Magik? And then asked him to come back here with you?"

Beck opened his mouth to retort and stopped, closing his mouth as the words processed in his head. He then laughed as he said "Yeah, pretty much. He knew something I didn't and I wanted to fix it."
