Kiera sighed helplessly before nodding and flapping Veira away with her hands. "Fine, fine. Just go make him better or something." Cyril raised an eyebrow at her as he got all the food prepared. "You're grumpy today, Ki." Kiera folded her arms across her chest. "Am not." Cyril stuck his tongue out at her. "Are too." Kiera rubbed her eyes and sat on one of the chairs. "Anythin' wrong?" Cyril inquired. "I just haven't been sleeping well lately." Cyril chuckled. "When do you ever sleep well?" He was seriously testing her patience.

*Verias head slowly appeared into the room as she smiled at shortstraw, "hello.~" She chimed as she walked in. "I see you really are sick." Shortstraw sniffled, "are you here to fix it? Did keria call you?" His vioce was starting to sound really... weak. Veria giggled, "no of course not. I was coming for my first visit." She clapped her hands, "and i see kerias grumpy. Is she sleeping well? I get grumpy when i don't get good sleep and it's nothing but visions." Shortstraw shrugged, "no idea." She giggled and sat next to him to feel his head with the back of her hand. "Oh my. Perhaps i can make a anitdote. I will need a sample if you don't mind. I have to know what your dealing with. there are lots of nasty evil pathigens out there." He had no idea what she was was talking aobut but shrugged as he looked across the room, "take my sock. I blew my nose on it." Veria looked to it with a frown, "eww. Well... i guess that will work." She got up and walked over to pick up the sock, "i will return quickly love. Try and hold it out for a bit okay. Sleep should be good for you." She walked out the bedroom down holding the sock out as if to keep it away from her, "as much as i love him, this is nasty." he stated as she walked to the front door, "i'll return with a medisin." she worned to keria and cyril before stepping out, carfully shuting the door so she didn't seem bad or anything while her visit.
Meanwhile shortstraw smiled to Asher, "See i'll get better soon. and i'm sure i'm stil a noob in your eyes too." He chukkled but ended up in a koffing fit instead.

Asher sneered. "Pretty much, yeah." Asher then laid herself down on the end of the bed and stretched herself out. "And yeah, you better get better soon. When you're not there to hold everything together all will fall apart." She meant in a general sense. Although it was true. He was like the glue. Kiera shut her eyes for one second as Cyril heated the food. "How's ya' back?" He questioned softly. Since the incident with River, her wings had been a very touchy subject. He'd been slammed to the floor too many times in only the past week for making a witty comment about it. Now he'd learnt his lesson about that. Kiera's eyelids fluttered. "Fine. It's fine." Cyril looked to her. "Wha' 'bout the other wing?" Kiera licked her lips. "Weak." Cyril shrugged and looked back to the food. "I suppose t'would be." He handed the plate of food to Kiera. "Here ya' go." Kiera smiled to him finally. "Thanks Cyril." He smiled back. "Anythin' for ya', Ki."

*Shortstraw nodded, "well then you better..." he koffed, "start teaching me too... when i'm not a sack dead potatos in bed." he stated as he sniffed.
Meanwhile veria was makeing haist, "Hmmmm lets see here..." he replied as she walked into her room and closed the door. then there was a knock, "veria hun..." Veria made a face, "go away dad. I'm busiy being a GOOD GIRL!" she replied humming to herself as she pulled a sheet off a table full of chemistry lab stuff. She knew she could make an antidote, and she knew she could help shortstraw get better way faster then anyone else could. However she more wondered what she was dealing with, she did not make a mistake when she made that upgrade, what was it that made him truely sick?*

Asher laughed as she stretched her front paws and laid onto her back. "I already told you that I'm impatient. I'm a horrible teacher, trust me." Kiera then walked back up the stairs with Shortstraws food and frowned when she saw Asher on the bed. She crawled onto the bed next to Shortstraw anyway. "What did I just tell you?" She made a face. Asher sighed and rolled onto her front. "Are you really that bothered with me being around? I'm not a nuisance or anything." Kiera just looked away and looked to Shortstraw, with the bowl still in her hands. "Do you think you can feed yourself? It's a bit fiddly for me to try to feed you if not."

*Shortstraw smiled as she sniffed, "i think i can, though the thought is kinda sadning if i couldn't." He chukkled and reached for the bowl, to be honist he was alittle shaky, being he felt the temprature way diffrent, being cold, freezing, and that wa keria even sitting next to him. He tookt he bowl from her and slowly sipped some of the broth off the spoon, "it's hot... i like it." She smiled at her, "thanks Keria." He sniffed again, as long as he didnt' sneeze, the bowl wouldn't fly everywhere. However he did wonder as he looked to keria, "are you mad at asher? Did she do somthing? You said before it was okay." he replied as he koffed and almost already dumped some of the soup on himself. He didn't, but he came close.
Meanwhile veria was already on her way back.

Kiera shook her head. "Yeah, it's fine. Just not right now. I really couldn't use her sarcasm right now." Asher cleared her throat and sat up. "Still in the room here." Kiera stuck her tongue out at Asher childishly and Asher frowned. "Tsk. And I thought Shortstraw was the youngest here." Kiera scoffed. "My point proven."

Shortstraw looked to keria, "you started it keria." He smiled, not even going to attempt laughing. "Hey... you know everyone says your grumpy. Take it ea..." he held a sneeze in the case of the soup and carfully put it on the nightstand just in case. "Easy. Ever since the one day you've been edgy. Take some time to relax." He smiled, "i have too. I'm stuck here. I don't even think i could stand up right now." He nodded and gave her a half hug before turning away and sneezing finally. He then made a face to asher, "i can't feel kerias heat, i can't eat, i can't even get a hug without a sneeze in the way." He cryed. his vioce sounded as if he was to loose it now.*

Kiera looked sadly down to him and threaded her hand into his once more. Asher couldn't deal with awkward situations like this. She wasn't exactly the most sentimental of things. "Well we're right here. Veira will be back with answers any time now." Kiera frowned further. Yet another thing where her sister bested her. She couldn't even help Shortstraw when he was bad and Veira could. It wasn't even understandable how angry that made her. She was useless in times like these.

*Veria stopped at the door and slowed before she walked in on her own for the first time. She made her way up the stairs and slowly walked in, "okay... it was really interesting to find that a mutation happened and even shortstraw can get sick. However he was already fighting a sickness before he got sick, it mutated when he was fighthing that water demon. And don't ask how i know about that." She grinned as she walked next to him showing a bottle of some blusish ozzy stuff. "Okay so your elargic to water demons." She giggled, "this stuff should help. But... of course to ever medisain there are sideeffects. First you will be out for like anywheres between a few days to two weeks estimated, and also... afterwords your strigth will be weak still for a while. But thats an esay fix if we have too at that point." She nodded and messed up his hair, "best part is you only have to taist this nasty stuff once. Are you ready?" She asked as she looked to keria to make sure she was okay with this. If not she could try again, but it would take longer.

Kiera shut her eyes and nodded briefly, meanwhile Asher was fixated on the liquid. It looked strangely appealing to her for a second, then as she got her thoughts straight she remembered that this came from Veira. Suddenly not so appealing. Asher however leaned in a little closer. "And you're sure this stuff will work?" she inquired.

*Veria looked to Asher, "Work? Oh this will do alot more then work, it will also fix his allergy which made the mutation possable. But someone has to fource it down his throught. It's thick, and... well i havn't tasted it, but i can tell with wha ti put in it, it is not going to be plessent." She looked to keria, "should i do the honers or whould you like to give it to him." She asked. Meanwhile shortstraw gulped, "i'm alittle scared." he replied in a yelp as she stared at the bottle in her hand.

Kiera shook her head sternly. "I don't wanna do that..." Asher gave her a look but somewhat understood why she wouldn't want to do that. So even if Kiera wouldn't watch, Asher certainly would. She found this interesting if anything.

*Veria nodded and looked to shortstraw, "you wanna get better right?" He nodded, "yea but..." Veria grined alittle evily, "you an't going to get better if you don't take the stuff i made to make it better. Besides after you drink it, you will sleep like a baby. That i can promes." She nodded and used her hand to lay him down, "Alright, keria make sure he does try to resist okay. No telling what this will do to skin if it gets on it. I didn't test it first." she giggled and then out of no where shoved the bottle in his mouth. Shortstraws reaction was to quick pull it back out, there had to be another way, but with both of the sisters there, there was no way he would win that. His eyes watered as his mouth filled up with it, and veria looked to him, "well swollow." She giggled and poked a certain spot on his neck, a glan that would instantly make his swallow as he then started to feel woosy and seemed to start to relax and ease into a sleep. Veria then shied and put the bottle in her pocket. "That is that." She then looked to keria, "i persume you will be watching him and taking care of him while he cannot. And if you wish i will love to assist. However i also offer the chance to observe your wing material. See if theres a way to tell how your get your wing back. To do that i will need a small sample o fyou other wing. When i fixed you up i kept my promes i would no longer take anything from your body, but it's up to you. The scence stuff is more of my ultamate thing." She winked.

Kiera opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out, and she looked away. "My other w-wing?" She brought her knees up to her chest and rested her chin on top. She had only got her other wing out a couple of times since the left one got ripped out. And it was utterly depressing each time she did. The other wing was now very frail and the feathers had started to fall out regularly, not to mention it wouldn't go to it's full size any more. "What would you need to get from it?"
