Ponydash snorted at Ai. Accident or not, he didn't like to see his friend and partner like that. He stayed close to Andarien and Eon, but out of the way so that Andarien could tend to Eon.

Andarien stroked Eon's head gently. He wished he'd had the foresight to bring a potion with him, but he had left his supplies in his room. Still, he wasn't without options.

"Rest," he told Eon gently.

Eon looked up at Andarien and almost seemed to smile before falling asleep.

Andarien stood up again, still cradling Eon in his arms. "He'll be okay soon," he murmured, though he still sounded a bit worried. He looked down at Ai. "You ... you changed ... how?"

Xion pouted up at Miyuki. "What does that mean?" he asked her. "That she evolved? And what's an Espeon?"

Rhiannon was still trying to make sure Eon was all right, watching him anxiously. "Why didn't Eon change?" she asked cautiously.

Andarien glanced at Ponydash to make sure he wasn't going to do anything, but the Pokemon was standing very still - watching. He turned his attention back to Miyuki.

"Mi, maybe we should talk to Shiro and see what he says," he suggested. "I want to make sure Eon's Rest will be enough for him to get better, too."

"Maybe ..." Andarien frowned. "But if we go back to our rooms, then I think I would just use a potion. But I don't have too many of those ... maybe Shiro knows how to make more."

He took another look at Eon. Already his wounds were fading and he looked better. Maybe the rest would be enough ... but he wanted to be sure.

Rhiannon was starting to get impatient. "Will you guys please tell us what you're talking about!" she burst out, annoyed.

Rhiannon nodded solemnly. "Yeah ... he looked like he was hurt pretty bad," she said anxiously. "Is he going to be okay?"

Andarien nodded. "Yeah ... hey Mi, maybe you should get Ai some berries or whatever, too. She got pretty hurt before she grew."

He eyed Ai and pouted a bit. If she hadn't grown like that, Eon would have won, he was sure.

Andarien shook his head at Miyuki. "No, she says she's got to nap in the sun. Maybe it's something about how she grew or her new form or something. You had a sun stone to make her change to that form, right?"

He wondered if Eon would have the same thing with the moon once he changed. He had a moon stone in his collar after all.

"Are you going to let Ai nap outside?" Andarien asked curiously. "Because I'd like to see Shiro as soon as I can. Besides," he added with a slight shiver, "I'm getting cold."

"Who says you have to go together?" Xion asked practically. "I'll take you, Andarien."

Andarien smiled. "Thanks, Xion. I don't know my way around here yet."

"I want to go too!" Rhiannon said brightly.

Andarien smiled. "Kay. Mi, you coming?"

"Mama will know," Rhiannon grinned. "Come on!"

"Rhiannon, if Miyuki says we have to tell the grown-ups, then we have to tell the grown-ups," Xion told his sister patiently. "Papa's always telling you, you can't take things for granted!"

Rhiannon stuck her tongue out at her brother.

Andarien stepped between the two to stop what looked like it might become an argument. "We'll tell them," he said firmly. "Mi probably wants to show Nana and Ada that Ai grew anyways."

"Okay." Rhiannon grinned and ran towards the adults. Xion followed more slowly with Andarien and Miyuki. Ponyta followed after them, sticking close to Andarien.

Rhea had been telling Lin and Earendil about some of the changes on the island nation when she spotted the children coming over to them, and she smiled.

"It looks like they're finished," she told the two, nodding at the children.

Rhiannon was the first to reach the adults. "Mama, they had a big fight and Ai changed and Eon got hurt but he's making himself better all by himself and now we're going to go inside to talk to Shiro so that he can-"

"Rhiannon," Rhea interrupted, holding up one hand to stop her daughter's tirade, "breathe. Remember what I told you?" She reached out to flatten Rhiannon's hair.

Rhiannon blushed. "Sorry, Mama."
