He lifted his hand up slightly, indicating all of Death City. "A lot of humans live here. People who go day to day without the strength to defend themselves against you or me, yet that live peacefully." He paused for a moment as he looked at her from across the table, a smile still on his face. "That's because we defend them. They can live in peace for us." He shrugged. "I would imagine it's the same with your Blackwings. They fight to protect other people from harm. They lend their strength to others who cannot defend themselves. It's the reason anyone can live in peace at all. Those who have the power to step on others, but don't." ◥For My Lady's Sake◤

It was like the room got brighter all of a sudden or something. He blinked and shook his head. "Then that's settled," he told her.
