Leo covered his face with his hands when the master pulled the blanket away and flinched as he felt fingers touching the mark. "m-master?" he looked at the man when he reacted so calmly to the mark but maybe-did he not know what it was? "master, i don't understand. why are you not angry with me? a bentien shouldn't have power, she should never use it as freely as i did and now the mark-" he gripped the blanket tightly, his knuckles white and shaking, "it is a symbol of power, master. something someone like me should never have. what-what i did this afternoon is unforgivable, this mark is proof of that." he shivered and bowed his head, "what i have done warrants death, master. be it slow or quick, my punishment is thus."

Leo looked at the master and accepted the kisses, but he was in shock. could the man really mean it? that he wished for leo's title of bentien to be washed away with the rain? but-if he wasn't a bentien then what was he? a...friend? the hand on his hip made him shiver and he closed his eyes, could it be possible? was there really a way that he could no longer be a bentien? but then he wouldn't belong to the master, he would have no reason to be with him. for some reason the thought of that made leo's hear ache and he let himself fall against the master, resting his head on the other's chest. "master-what should i do?" he remembered what he'd done, every moment of it was etched into his memory. he'd made it rain, summoning water from below and above, but he'd done it in plain view of everyone...."oh no-" he moaned and brought his hands up to his hair. the guard from Reta had seen him. "oh gods, no-" he brought his knees up to his chest and dropped his head down onto them, curling into a ball. "he saw, he saw-" he moaned softly, "he'll kill me." all the man had to do was activate the mark on his throat and leo had given him more than enough reasons to do just that.

Leo took slow deep breaths and nodded, "y-yes, i understand. please forgive me." he just felt so raw right now, like something inside of him had been ripped open and left exposed and in truth something had. the seal placed over his powers had been cracked before which allowed him what little power he'd used so far, but now the barrier that kept them locked down had been ripped away. even like this, Leo could feel the power gliding beneath his skin, warming him and giving him a sense of security he never believed possible. "i know i am safe as long as i am with you, master." he looked at the window of their room where the rain continued to come down, though not nearly as hard as before. "i did that?" he asked softly, referring to the rain. "what-is everyone ok? did i cause any problems?" he knew that in a parched land, suddenly getting a lot of water at once wasn't always a good thing since the land couldn't absorb it all a once.

Leo looked at the books, shocked that Henry would do something like that for him. did that mean-he had gained the approval of the older gentleman? he hoped so, he knew how well the master and Henry got along and wanted to not come between them. "i will have to thank him later, then. he is very kind." he couldn't let himself think about what the master had said about friends, not just yet. "i am well, master, just a bit tired. forgive me for causing you worry, i did not mean to.

Leo's eyes widened when he heard that the master had tricked him into using his power. for a moment he felt hurt, but he let out a small breath and lowered his head, hiding behind his bangs. "if it was the master's will then there is no need to be ashamed of my actions." had the master just ordered it, it would have saved him a lot of terror, but he belonged to the master. the man could do with him what he wanted. "i am glad i could have been of use to you, master."

Leo looked up at the master and waved his hands in front of him, in a sort of panic, "oh, no, master! please it is fine. do not bow your head to me, i am not worthy." he cupped the prince's cheeks and forced him to lift his head, smiling when their eyes met. "please master, i am yours. you may do with me what you like, really. i don't mind, that is the purpose of a bentien."

Leo blushed at the master's words and felt his hand tremble in the other's, "I-you...are my friend too, master." the words were barely said, the rain on the window almost louder than him but he'd said them none the less. "i-should go and get our meal, it is late. master. have you eaten?" he had to change the subject, he didn't think he could handle talking about this anymore right now. not when he already felt so vulnerable.

Leo nodded, "I need to get something to eat. i used a lot of energy and the sun is covered so i have to restore it through solids." he carefully got out of bed and stood on shaking legs for a moment before he got his balance. "oh-" he'd forgotten that he was naked and he moved to find himself some clothing. he still didn't want to go near the others, frightened of what their responses to him would be, but he knew he had to eat.
