Iori too said his good-byes before returning to the steakhouse.
(Now would be the perfect time to do something with the Yumi and Sasuke situation, but you're gonna hafta play Yumi here because I am at a stalled point.)

Meanwhile in the Leaf Village....
Yumi was sitting on the couch looking at one of the many ninjutsu scrolls that were scattered around the place. She was somewhat adjusting to life in the leaf. She had to deal with the occasional questioning from Karin and Sakura. For her own safety, Yumi had agreed not to tell anyone who the father was of her child. Everyone just assumed that it was some rogue ninja she met on a mission.

One ninja, a maid who worked in the akatsuki HQ where Yumi was, named Illiana had been helping clean up the place when underneath one scroll was an old newspaper article about Rock Howard. The article was about Rock moving out and that Southtown was never going to be the same without him.
"I know what this boy went through. I was raised within a busy household, an abusive one though. I too moved out when I was young to hopefully live a better life and now...look at me, miss Yumi. I am a pathetic maid! I sure hope for a good looking guy like this," Iliana showed Yumi the photo of Rock, "That he don't end up in a crummy job like I have."

Yumi looked at the photo and then said " Last I heard he's going to sky high and got an internship with one of the top costume designer on the planet."

"Oh wow...if only I could wear clothes that he makes. Sadly, I don't make enough for good looking stuff like that. Heh, I am lucky if I get food at dinner time I get so busy cleaning."
(I had a dream last night where Rock and Iliana fell in love and Illiana was being held captive by 3 Russian men from the movie XXX starring Vin Diesel.)

Yumi wasn't sure if should reveal the truth to the ninja maid. So she just went with what she and Sasuke usually told people " She does. I'm just here for training. Sasuke figured it was time for him to take on a student since Dee's going to be busy"

"That's not like the Sasuke I know. Besides, the newspaper said something about Iori is furious, daughter pregnant by older guy. Now that daughter mentioned, that isn't you, is it? It was in the Azeroth news this morning. I subscribe to every magazine and newspaper I can since its free."
(Remember that Iori does have more than one daughter, and in this case, the newspaper was referring to a different daughter of Iori's. To be precise, the news paper was talking about Rouge who lives in Forget me not valley most of the time and it was Kurt Woodsman that got Rouge pregnant)

Continuing on with their rehearsed story, Yumi said " The newspaper is correct. Both my father and Sasuke were mad at me for what happened on a training mission to the sand village. While Sasuke was visiting with the kazekage, I snuck off and hooked up with one of the rogue ninjas there. "

"Hmm," the maid went on, "Well, newspapers do always want a scoop, but I swear that the picture in the paper was Sasuke trying to hide something. Then again, Sasuke always hides stuff nobody wants to know about. It could have been anything. What was this ninja's name? Cause the paper would have revealed it since it is big news and it didn't."

Iliana chuckled softly, "Sounds like Sasuke's got a crush on you miss Yumi. Just out of curiosity, if that child would have been Sasuke's would it really be all that bad? I mean, you said it yourself, he is a top ranked Shinobi. Personally, if it was between him and Naruto, I'd choose Sasuke."
The Russian maid resumed her chores temporarily, "Oh, one more question, would you like something to eat or drink? I'm gonna take my break now and I was going to go to that grand re-opening at Empress Dee's. I was thinking of getting you something from there. And if I'm lucky, I might run into that hunkster Rock."
